"I've stayed on both the south and north sides of the island, and the advantages of Sacaya are clearly evident. Firstly, it's very close to the main street and 7-Eleven, making shopping, dining, and renting a scooter incredibly convenient, all within a few minutes' walk. Secondly, there are three pools: the leisure village resort pool and the beachfront pool, all perfect for a swim. Thirdly, it's very, very close to the beach. When I first booked, I couldn't tell the different room locations, but the bungalows and deluxe rooms seem to be the closest to the sea. Of course, it also depends on the angle; there are more reefs near the 'Love Tree' area and a long sandy beach near the bar/restaurant. Fourthly, there's a daily fire show and boat pick-up/drop-off service. Fifthly, the breakfast buffet offers a good variety. The service staff and the security guards across the street were all very friendly, smiling, and welcoming."

"The hotel is excellent, and we received a friendly welcome. Check-in is from 2 PM, but you can leave your luggage at the front desk for free. The room is clean and nice, the TV works, and the air conditioning blows well. Breakfasts are typical for Thailand. The location is near the sea, but the beach is small. Overall, everything was satisfactory: the price, the service, and the rooms."

"Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. You can snorkel directly in front of the hotel, and there are more fish near the coral reefs, but I wouldn't recommend going there if the waves are big. It's best to wear long pants and diving socks to avoid scratches. The sand right outside is very fine and soft. Breakfast is served by the sea with ocean views. The bar street can get a bit noisy at night, so it might not be suitable for light sleepers, but since we usually go to bed late, it didn't bother us. A major plus is that the bedsheets are changed for every new guest. The room has many windows, making it bright and airy. The only downsides are that the shower only has a handheld showerhead and the water pressure is a bit low. For shopping, try to go to the 7-Eleven on the main street, as the supermarket here is about a third more expensive. Overall, it offers great value for money and is perfect for a relaxing holiday."

"The staff at the front desk were lovely. They spoke politely, gave good recommendations, and were always smiling. The kitchen staff were also very kind and provided excellent service. The hotel has comprehensive facilities, is easy to get to, close to everything, and safe. The hotel also offers motorcycle rentals, which I recommend arranging directly with them for convenience. "We traveled with a rather complex group: my mother plus two children (ages 9 and 14). During our stay, we were very impressed with the high quality of service: we were met at the pier with sun umbrellas, and the housekeeping was excellent. The room was in good condition, everything was clean, and there wasn't much wear and tear. We handled meals this way: we had dinner at the restaurants (there are 3, one for each hotel), and both times it cost us around 1500 Baht for all three of us, which was comparable to what we spent in Pattaya, where we also saw a show (on Fridays). If you don't have kids, you can rent a scooter and go to the other side of the island where there's a huge selection of places to eat. For lunch, we had fruits, yogurts, salads, snacks, etc., which we bought once at 7-Eleven on the other side of the island; the round trip cost 400 Baht. Compared to Pattaya, the sea here is incredibly clean and clear – true relaxation. I was worried the journey would be difficult, but we traveled in the middle of the day when you can't do much anyway due to the heat. It was 1.5 hours from Pattaya, 2 hours to Bangkok, and then a quick 10-15 minute boat ride. The hotel has its own pier, which is cool, clean, and offers inexpensive drinks. For those who are panically afraid of lizards, snakes, and other critters, it might be best not to go to this island, as they can crawl into the room. And mosquitoes (!) – there's a fumigator and repellents in the room, but I still got bitten (though I always do; for example, the children weren't bitten). In all other respects, it was a magnificent trip, and the boat ride to the island was an attraction in itself. I plan to repeat this experience and stay for 4-5 days next time."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The entire property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The pool was very clean, and the sea was crystal clear and beautiful. A special thanks goes to the housekeeping team, who did an outstanding job every day and kept everything spotless. The only downside is that the hotel is located quite far from the city center. In addition, the prices for food and drinks are higher than in other areas. However, the food is of excellent quality and tastes delicious, making it worth the extra cost. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."

"This is our second time staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were initially checked into a bungalow, which we didn't like – it was very dark and cramped. We requested to be moved to the main building. They put us on the first floor, which wasn't ideal, but it was okay. Everything in the room felt old, and during cleaning, the toiletries and tea weren't replenished; we had to ask for them. The breakfasts are good, and sometimes there's live music, which is a nice touch. There's also live music on the beach and a fire show in the evenings. The hotel is just a stone's throw away from 7/11. Overall, it's a decent hotel."

"1. The room is large. It has all the necessary furniture for working on vacation (crucial for me), and places to put books and tablets. 2. It's clean and cozy. There are many windows, but even though the bungalow is small, it's still a bit dark. The windows are opaque from the outside, so no one can see you when the curtains are open. 3. The air conditioner is quite quiet. The outdoor unit is located right behind the closet, so you don't hear any humming when it's running. 4. The bathroom is huge and bright. All amenities are provided, even a rubber mat to prevent accidental slips. The drain works well, there are two showers, and a separate faucet just for washing your feet – everything is very well thought out. 5. There's a safe, bathrobes, flip-flops (!), and, of course, towels. The bed is large. We arrived with my daughter, but there were no bungalows with two beds. They apologized and gave us two blankets. This is luxury-class care, thank you! 6. Sea view. The sea is just two steps down a path. New, good sun loungers, umbrellas, and a wonderfully equipped beach. 7. Light and pleasant music plays all day. This might be a problem for some, so be aware, but we didn't mind it. There was no music on Sunday. At the beach bar, the music stops strictly at 11 PM, but you can hear the neighboring bay's music – I'd go crazy if I lived there. In bungalows further from the restaurant, you can't hear any music at all. The property has bungalows with sea views, cottages, rooms, and beachfront suites – accommodation for every taste and budget. The grounds are very picturesque and well-maintained. You can take a taxi to the pier for 250 baht. 8. The breakfasts are amazing. We haven't encountered hotels with such breakfasts in a long time. Every day there were 2-3 types of meat, fish, potatoes, pasta, soups, rice, a ton of sweets, even sweet rice. And cheese (!). There was Camembert, Brie, and some hard cheeses. Ham/sausages/omelets/eggs, of course. A coffee machine, tea, juices, fruits. In short, during our 5-day stay, we only went to a restaurant for dinner once :) We were full all day! 9. Check the tide map. If low tide starts in the morning, it can be a significant issue. The bay is small, and at low tide, the water recedes so much that swimming is a problem. When there's plenty of water, everything is great, and there's even a small reef where you can wander and look at fish. 10. Summary: The hotel is excellent, with guest care at every turn. We will definitely return. Prosperity to the resort and a huge thank you to the staff for their care!"

"Nestled on Koh Samet, an island with very basic amenities, Paradee truly stands out. It boasts its own secluded beach, far from the main street (a one-way taxi ride to the main street costs 450 baht and takes about 25 minutes). With stunning beachfront views and fine white sand, it's the perfect escape for a peaceful vacation after a busy period. The rooms have a very Thai-style decor; while not new or ultra-modern, the cleanliness and attention to detail are quite good. Breakfast is a buffet combined with à la carte options – though not extensive, the food is delicious! There's complimentary afternoon tea daily, with drinks and small snacks served per person. The hotel restaurant's food is excellent; the seafood fried rice, burgers, and banana pancakes we ordered were all very tasty! The staff here are incredibly professional! Every employee greets you with a friendly smile, and they're especially kind to children. The private pier transfer adds to the overall emotional value. I highly recommend that every visitor to Koh Samet dedicate two or three days to unwind and relax at Paradee."

"This became the best hotel for us in Thailand, and we've stayed in quite a few over 14 years of traveling to our beloved country. The staff are incredibly friendly, always ready to help at a moment's notice. Everyone is lovely, genuinely smiling. I haven't seen such smiles and shining eyes in a long time. They greeted us immediately by the songthaew, took our suitcases and bags, and escorted us to reception. When we left, the administrator personally walked us to the songthaew, and the staff brought our luggage. The rooms are clean, with daily housekeeping or upon request. Everything in the room is very convenient. We had a family room with a second floor, which initially seemed like just an attic but we ended up really liking it, although the stairs were a bit steep. The beds in our room were so comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The mattresses weren't necessarily soft, but I can't recall ever sleeping on such comfortable ones in a hotel. In all other hotels, pillows annoy me and I immediately remove them, but here I kept both – they were very comfortable. The veranda and the view from the room were like paradise. The cafe is wonderful, everything is delicious and fresh. Despite being low season, the breakfasts had a great variety. There weren't any pastries or desserts, but there were sweet dim sum. A coffee machine was available. We bought almond croissants; I can't say they were the best ever, but they were tasty. Two beautiful beaches nearby. We walked to Sai Kaew along a path through the mountains, a relaxed 15-minute walk to the mermaid statue. We really want to return. It's quiet, peaceful, and with minimal 'brothers and sisters' from China."
