"The Silversand was the perfect stay on Koh Samet. Our garden room was clean and spacious. Towels were provided everyday without asking. I truly enjoyed the breakfast, it was tasty with the best view of the beach. My only shortcoming was the water spout in the shower was not the best, but it didn’t take away from our experience."

"The beach is beautiful and right by the property. The staff provides great service, and it's very quiet and private. The only downside is that there are quite a lot of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring mosquito repellent."

"It is an excellent place for relaxation, the location is excellent, the view is very beautiful, the fine sand beach is very close, within a distance where the night music is not too loud. The hotel restaurant is all delicious. The hotel entrance from the drop-off point is a bit far. You should inform the staff to pick you up and help with luggage. The point that should be improved is that the room door lock is not yet tight and modern. I will definitely go back."

"We recently stayed at Samet Cabana Resort on Ao Wong Duean, and it was exactly the tropical escape we were looking for. We booked the Beach Cabana, and we cannot recommend it enough. The Room: Staying in the Beach Cabana meant waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. Stepping out onto the porch with a view of the ocean was the highlight of the trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and had that authentic island bungalow feel while still having modern amenities (the AC worked great!). Being just a few steps from the water made all the difference. The Location: Ao Wong Duean is a fantastic beach, it’s lively enough to have good restaurants and fire shows at night, but much more relaxed than the busy main pier area. The water was clear and great for swimming right in front of the resort. Service & Food: The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of options to start the day. If you are coming to Koh Samet, do yourself a favour and splurge a little for the Beach Cabana. It transforms the trip from a standard hotel stay into a real beach holiday. We’ll definitely be back!"

"This is definitely one of the top resorts on the island. You can snorkel right off the beach in front and see so many fish, though the price is quite high. Getting to the main street isn't very convenient; you'll need the front desk to call a car for you. But the scenery makes up for everything! It's truly a perfect getaway."

"Our Favorite Island Escape! This was our fifth stay at Vangduen Hotel, and we already can’t wait to come back! It’s the kind of place that never disappoints. In fact, the only sad part is packing up to leave. The location is perfect—tucked away on the quiet side of the island, offering so much peace and natural beauty. The clear, calm water and the soft white sand (honestly, it feels like flour!) make it the perfect spot to relax. Even though it’s peaceful, there’s still plenty to do. There’s a great selection of restaurants, a small shop for anything you might need, and a fun fire show in the evenings. The hotel itself is spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable. The staff are amazing—so friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. It’s those little things that make each stay so special. We’d recommend this place 100%. In fact, we’ve already booked our next trip in two weeks! Vangduen Hotel really is a gem, and we feel lucky to have found it."
