Hotel near Sai Kaew Beach,Koh Samet
The Barbados Terrace provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Barbados Terrace is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Koh Samet. This hotel is located near many of Koh Samet's attractions including Wat Koh Samet, Samet Island, Prao Beach and Ao PA Cha. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.

"The hotel is excellent – houses with their own green area, some are mansions, some are semi-detached. The decor is Provence style! We stayed with two adults and two 12-year-old children in a family bungalow, which has three double beds – perfect! There's a safe, glasses, water, shower gel and shampoo, cotton swabs and shower caps, a refrigerator, and two towels per person. The breakfast is delicious – eggs, sausages, salami, a hot dish like noodles or pasta, pancakes, vegetables, toast, fruit (pineapple, watermelon). The coffee is freshly brewed. It's close to the pier and the beach. The main street is full of cafes, shops, and massage services. I recommend it!"

Hotel near Ao Phai,Koh Samet
The Sky Cottage is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Koh Samet will find that the Sky Cottage is a fantastic accommodation choice. Seeing Koh Samet's sights from this hotel is easy with Ao Phutsa, Prao Beach and Ao Chor all close by. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city.

"I really liked the hotel. During our stay, we experienced different types of accommodations. Initially, we stayed in a separate bungalow. These are located slightly behind the main building, so you don't hear any neighbors, and they have high ceilings. The curtains weren't entirely blackout, though, so it was bright in the mornings. Then, we moved to a ground-floor room in the main building. It was a bit dim, but that was actually a plus as it made it easier to sleep. Even though it was next to the dining area, there wasn't much noise, and we didn't have to deal with stairs. The sliding doors were silent, which is a big plus! Afterward, we moved to the second floor. This room was smaller than the one on the first floor, brighter, and noisier because there are rooms on both sides of the hallway, meaning more people. Kids were running around in the mornings and doors were slamming. If you want to sleep in, I recommend choosing a separate bungalow (cottage) or a room on the third floor. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM. We came as late as 9:55 AM, and there was still plenty of food available. They had fried eggs, boiled eggs, and sometimes an omelet. There was always one hot dish – Thai-style rice, noodles, or pasta. Plus, plain rice was always available. There was also a small soup. For vegetables, they offered cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and cabbage, along with tasty sausages and ham. Pancakes were available, and you could have them with condensed milk. Toasts and delicious coffee were also part of the spread. The staff and Emmy, the owner, are all incredibly pleasant people. A big thank you to them! Check-in is at 2 PM, and check-out is at 11:30 AM. A hairdryer is available at reception. Water and toilet paper are replenished daily. The rooms are cleaned regularly. The owner's two little Pomeranian dogs run around, brightening everyone's mood. There are also cats in the area where the separate bungalows are, and you can pet them."

YYKT MikhailGreat location, a small cozy hotel with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast; the soup was particularly enjoyable. They also offer free bicycles and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). Direct access to two beaches is a huge plus. Even though it was off-season, we were pleasantly surprised by the weather. The sea was a bit wavy, but still swimmable. The beaches were clean, and the white sand crunched delightfully underfoot. You can even get a massage right on the beach. Act, the front desk manager, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, always ready to assist, and even saw us off to our taxi. I wish the hotel continued success. P.S. My only suggestion would be to refresh the beach towels.

ЕЕлена КучвешWe chose this hotel based on reviews. We didn't book in advance, as the trip was unplanned. It was our first time on this island, and we weren't sure which beaches were best. We decided to pick an inexpensive hotel with a good view and then visit each beach separately. Upon arrival, we realized we had made an excellent choice. LOCATION. You couldn't ask for a better location. It's so close to the pier that we literally walked there with our suitcases in 4 minutes. The two nearest beaches are a 10-15 minute walk away. We thought about renting a scooter but quickly realized we didn't need one. There are cafes, main restaurants, massage places, and, most importantly, a 7/11 nearby. We only went to the pier once to catch a shared songthaew to Ao Prao beach for 40 baht per person. (On the way back, a songthaew acts as a taxi for 250 baht for two, which took us back to the pier). We were worried that being so close to the pier would mean smells from ferry fuel, dirt, and noise. But in the end, there aren't many ferries, no real noise, and the only smell is the sea. The cicadas sing louder! 😄 HOTEL. We had room 10. An excellent room. Yes, it's not brand new, but for the price, it was more than decent. Every morning, we woke up and enjoyed the sea view right from our bed. There's a hammock on the veranda – definitely lie in it! We sat on the veranda at night, and there weren't many mosquitoes or gnats; we didn't even need repellent. Closing the doors provided a little sound insulation. I particularly appreciated the drying rack for clothes and the abundance of hangers in the room. There were glasses, mugs, a kettle, a safe, and a hairdryer. The mattress, pillows, and bedding were all fine. We got one towel per person. CLEANLINESS AND HOUSEKEEPING. There isn't daily room cleaning as such, but they change towels daily, and replenish the gel, shampoo, toilet paper, and tea/coffee sets. If you go out, leave your used towels on the veranda, and when you return, you'll find fresh ones in a bag on the table. For the trash can from the toilet, also place it on the veranda, and they will empty it. Hot water was available 24/7. We really loved this hotel. After returning from the beaches, the scenery visually changed, and we simply enjoyed the beautiful view from our window and the sound of the waves. And, of course, you can't escape the cicadas. We recommend this hotel. Our recommendation: Make sure to walk a little further past this hotel; there are also lovely swimming spots there with no waves.

AAnandkulkarniThe location is right opposite to beach with their restaurant in between. Rooms are like nice and clean but the orientation is like a dormitory with walls between the rooms and glass partition n door at room entrance. So if someone is looking for beach side location is great but for families looking for more amenities and common areas in the hotel then it does disappoint. The evening is pleasant with the extension of restaurant on beach like all other resorts do on the beach.

GGuest UserThe water heater is not hot enough. The location is excellent. Although we found the wrong hotel on the first day, the hotel with the same name still let us stay. The service is OK. The first room smelled very musty. After I raised the issue, the housekeeper also changed our room.

EEVGENII VOLKOVFirst time this happened to me. I came to the reception and couldn’t check in there. Because there was nothing and no one there. No notice or advertise. Just noting. The place was fully abandoned. Long story short - I found a reception in different building 😁 After I got my keys and opened door to my room I was shocked. It was different room. Not that one what I’ve booked. Tripcom gave me coins for that though but guys… Thing those before book. One pro what I found there was silence. There was no noises from the street at all.

ММаргаритаA very pleasant beachfront resort, featuring a cozy courtyard and a nice cafe. A great bonus was the option to work in the cafe late at night, as there was a table with a power outlet nearby. The staff were also very friendly.

GGuest UserFirst, the cons (there are many) - no one is waiting for you upon check-in, there's no reception, you have to call, and if you don't have a Thai SIM card, you just sit and wait in the heat - the room is very small (6 square meters), of which 4 are taken up by a stone bed. There's not even room to open a suitcase, let alone put things in it - the windows face the hallway, no ventilation, nothing dries, towels rot, no ventilation in the shower, and everything is moldy (which is dangerous for your health) Now, the pros - the location is decent, the beach is nearby - the bed linen was new and generally clean - they say cleaning is done every two days, but I didn't get any for three days - they leave water - a cute cat who constantly sleeps on the porch

VVronikaThis is a two-story house with 3 extra rooms. We booked it with friends and rented the whole place without even realizing it. The location is great, 5 minutes to the main beach, we liked it so much that the distant ones didn't even go. The ceilings are a bit low - but these are minor things, we checked in just to sleep. For that price, everything is very good!

GGuest UserTo be honest, I'd say it's pretty decent. The price is fair for the room, offering good value for money and no real complaints. The breakfast spread had a good variety. The hotel is located right by the beach. The island isn't very big, so I'd actually recommend renting a scooter no matter where you're staying. I would definitely choose this place again for my next visit.
