"Wow, out of all the hotels I've stayed in, it's rare to find one that truly inspires me to write a review. Others have already detailed the room specifics, so I'll focus on some smaller details.
The hotel's name, 'Qi Niao,' is poetic and easy to understand. This imagery likely originated from the Classic of Poetry and has been adapted by many since. In today's fast-paced urban life, people are exhausted. 'Qi Niao' feels like a 'mutual journey' between the hotel and its guests – I provide a haven, welcoming tired birds.
Upon entering the hotel, the overall impression, if I had to summarize it simply, would be 'vibrant.' It's quite peculiar, you know. Many ancient-style buildings attempting to integrate with a ground-floor coffee shop often end up feeling incongruous. Yet, the lobby's design makes both elements complement each other wonderfully. I believe this is mainly due to the two small bamboo plants in the hall, which lend a gentle touch. There's even a small note on them that reads 'Heavenly Bamboo.'
The front desk lady was beautiful – a clean, graceful, and non-intimidating kind of beauty. When I greeted her, she'd smile first, then answer softly. I don't want to use clichés to describe her; she probably doesn't need them.
Later, I heard this hotel was opened by a woman. Many of the hotel's details seemed to make more sense then.
I feel like I've said too much. To sum it up briefly, here, gentleness is a strength, and you are the one who is softly embraced."
