Romantic Hotels in Prague

"The hotel was not as listed. They didn’t have the private parking the website said they had and we had to park in a public car park 20 minutes away from the hotel. We then asked about the laundry services listed on their page and they said they didn’t have any, so they sent us 15 minutes away to a laundrette which was closed when we got there. The hotel is ideally located next to Prague castle and lots of nice restaurants and pubs, and is a 10 minute downhill walk from the nearest tram stop."

"Centrally situated within 5 minutes walk from the Charles Bridge/Vltava River, and 15 minutes from Prague Castle. Trams at doorstep. All staff were consistently friendly and helpful especially at reception. Some points to note: * Most apartments face an inner 5 storey courtyard, and sound travels upwards to apartments from diners at the courtyard restaurant (open all day) as well as from the balconies of neighboring apartments - this includes cigarette smoke - which may require the balcony doors to be closed for greater privacy. * Noise is easily transmitted between apartments, conversations from neighboring guests. * There is no elevator - staff offer assistance, but something to be aware of if you have a lot of luggage or very heavy luggage * Curtains in the apartment are not blackout, I had to wear eyeshades. The provision of kitchenettes and clothes washing facilities in each apartment made it very convenient - simply request detergent and a drying rack from reception. Very good value for the price paid but a word of caution to those who are sensitive to noise."
