But the hosts won't let you walk; they personally provide pickup and drop-off services. The small swimming pool in the courtyard is perfect for kids to splash around in, and the hosts diligently clean it and change the water regularly. There are also cats to pet; one is a mischievous blue cat named Babaozhou (Eight Treasure Porridge) who loves to roam freely outside. There's also a very well-behaved adopted white kitten, only two months old. A cute guinea pig adds to the charm, making this a truly family-friendly place. In the backyard garden, you can pick fresh vegetables like eggplants, corn, angled luffa, and sweet potato leaves. When autumn arrives and the persimmons ripen, everyone can feast on the fruit from the hundred-year-old persimmon tree right outside the homestay. We really look forward to coming back in the autumn! The irrigation ditches by the rice fields are teeming with various small creatures, and our kids learned about pond frogs and golden-lined frogs. They had a blast catching fish with a net."

The service quality was particularly outstanding. From the moment we checked in, we felt a perfectly balanced level of hospitality. Cici, a staff member, was attentive without being intrusive, showing great care for both the elderly and children. Learning that we were there for fishing, she enthusiastically recommended local fishing spots, demonstrating a deep knowledge of the area. The dining experience was equally impressive: the buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of well-prepared dishes. Since our child didn't come down for breakfast, they thoughtfully packed fresh shrimp porridge and pancakes for us. The Chinese restaurant, though only opened during the May Day holiday, already boasted both stylish service and high-quality cuisine. Dishes like the river white fish, red soup noodles, Malantou with dried tofu, drunken shrimp, and steak were all cooked to perfection with rich, refined flavors, showcasing the authentic taste of Tonglu combined with exquisite culinary artistry. "Having stayed in many hotels, the Deluxe King Room at Fuchunjiang Greeli left a great impression on me. It offered a just-right level of comfort. The room's design was very soothing, with soft colors and ample space. The floor-to-ceiling window was the most memorable feature – opening the curtains in the morning, the Fuchunjiang River unfolded right before my eyes, like a subtle ink wash painting. Just quietly gazing at it was incredibly therapeutic. Several details were well-executed: plenty of charging outlets, hot water came on very quickly, and the local tea bags in the mini-bar were a thoughtful little surprise. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation and strong water pressure. The hotel's location is very convenient; it's not far to go for a walk or find a place to eat. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and responded quickly to requests, making me feel well looked after. Overall, it's the kind of place I'd be willing to return to.
