"Everything was great, except for the hotel restaurant: the high prices didn't match the quality of the food. We tried the pizza and were left unsatisfied. Otherwise, it's an excellent hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms, and large beds, which is rare to find in the UK."

"Booking this hotel was definitely the right choice. It's just a 5-minute walk to the train station, a large supermarket, and a tram stop. There's a convenience store on the hotel's lower ground floor, and a bakery (great for breakfast). You'll find a variety of restaurants nearby, including Thai, steak houses, Chinese, and ramen! A 15-minute tram ride from downstairs will get you to the amusement park, and if you want to go to the beach, it's a straight 15-minute walk. The hotel's breakfast was a bit limited, pretty much just what was shown in the pictures. Nothing particularly exciting. The dinner options at the hotel restaurant weren't extensive either, with steak at £24 and fish and chips around £16, plus a 12.5% service charge (which all restaurants seem to add). I'd recommend making a reservation for the Thai restaurant."

"All the staff i encountered were polite and efficent. The sun was shining 3 days out of 4, and the accomodation suited my needs. Thank you"

"The hotel room didn't have enough storage for the three of our clothes. The towels weren't replaced every day which I find very poor. Also there was a mark on one of the towels and my mum actually found it rolled up and put back into storage in bathroom. This was extremely poor. The staff were really nice and friendly. I found the hotel to be clean. However, due to heatwave and lack of clean towels I find this really poor service. The breakfast had a good variety and was nice. It was also close to south pier but really good location."

"Everything is good except the bed sheet, it kept slipping off after sleeping in.  It's a flat sheet too small to tie down on the edge and corners.  We asked the staff for help and we tried to do it ourselves but it was not fixable because the flat sheet is just too small to secure the bed coverage.  The staff members are super friendly and they do try their best to help you.  The spa in the hotel is also great.  Overall the experience is beyond expectations.  The location is also great and safe.  "

"If it is for the amusement park, this hotel is still very convenient, but a little distance from the center of Heichi Town will generate additional transportation costs. At the same time, I was extremely dissatisfied with the hotel's hygiene and service attitude, but I opened the newly cleaned room and saw such a scene. Although people were arranged to re-do the bathroom hygiene, no compensation was provided for this."

"We were dissappointed in the car parking situation. It wasn't exactly made clear that you need to drive into where it was marked exit and press for them to lift the barrier. Then unfortunately there was no room so had to call into reception to find out where we could park it was a bit stressful and could have been avoided. The hotel itself is very secure as you need to press for access to the entrance. Once up to reception on the first floor we were welcomed and allocated a room. The room was very tired with marked and scratched walls and ceiling. The bathroom had all the ususl facilities but a great big crack was in the tiles on the floor about two and half feet long. The shower head was dirty and the bottom of the main door was peeling away. The bed was two single mattresses put together which were obviously well used and meant there was a bump in between which wasnt very comfy. The bar was expensive for drinks and the staff seemed to multitask serving and cleaning tables etc. Some of the same staff were at breakfast and it just felt a bit overall short staffed. The breakfast itself was adequate but basic. We did notify reception on checking out of our findings as we are not usually ones to complain but the issues do make a difference and some just general maintenance."

"Booked a twin room as it was me and my son ended up with a double . Paid for breakfast took so long to get the food out on the hot plates kept having to ask for stuff like bread , bacon , sausages asked for pastries as none left told no and was still within breakfast times . Female showers at the pool changing rooms were vile and needed cleaned ."

"Fabulous stay at the Best Western Carlton in Blackpool. The staff could not have done more to help, and the lady on the front desk was so friendly and chatty. They helped immediately when they realised I had a pram, toddler and 2 bags and was alone - even changing our room to make things easier. Lovely people! Only downside was the thin walls, meaning we could hear every word of the 4am argument in the room next door!!"
