Shengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Gouqi Island. The room offered a beautiful sea view, which made our stay especially relaxing and memorable. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His support during that time meant a lot to us. He also kindly helped arrange transportation, which made everything much easier. To top it off, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I really can’t rate this hotel highly enough—both for the facilities and, most importantly, for the genuine care and generosity shown to us.

The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet corner of the countryside, so peaceful at night you can hear insects chirping and frogs croaking. The decor is comfortable, and the rooms are quite nice, easily accommodating two adults and two children, with a balcony. I noticed a slight odor in the room, but my family thought it was fine. Opening the balcony door, the air was filled with the pungent smell of fertilizer freshly applied to crops – nauseating! Restaurants nearby are expensive and unappetizing; I recommend renting a car to eat in the county town. The room clearly includes breakfast, but when we inquired in the morning, they said it wasn't prepared and required advance booking – please remember this. Although there was a small sign indicating it, we weren't informed during check-in and ended up spending 90 yuan on takeout. The 20 yuan beach voucher included with the booking was ignored; we didn't ask about it. In conclusion, the service was poor, the experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't go back.
