"The guesthouse owner arranged for a 6-seater car to pick us up from the pier, which was cheaper than taking a taxi. The room was very clean and odorless. There were beach discount coupons available at the front desk. Breakfast was free, and we also ordered seafood noodles, which were delicious. The guesthouse was quiet at night. We had pre-ordered dinner, and the owner cooked it for us when we arrived. It was hot and delicious. The menu prices were reasonable and clearly marked, so there was no overcharging. The seafood was very fresh and more affordable and tastier than what we could find at other restaurants. Today, we checked out and bought tickets for the overnight ferry back to Shenjiawan. We left our luggage at the front desk and played cards in the guesthouse until almost 6 PM before leaving. The owner was very kind and didn't kick us out or charge us."

"We had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!"

"We stayed with our pets during the 51 holiday. The room we originally booked was not available. A lovely girl at the front desk of the hotel helped us upgrade to the villa area at the back for free. When we checked in, she said that the water heater in this room would make noises from time to time, and suggested that we turn it off after using the water heater (air-energy water heater). As a result, we forgot to turn it off. The first half of the night was very quiet. At three o'clock in the morning, the water heater began to howl, waking up many guests. We manually closed the water inlet valve and the water heater stopped howling. The next day, the hotel also contacted the manufacturer's master to come and repair it in time, and the deep cleaning fee for pets was waived at checkout. Thanks to the enthusiastic front desk girl and the very nice manager. In short, it is a very good hotel with complete hardware facilities, a children's playroom, a gym where you can play table tennis, and a small library with a strong a**osphere. It is also close to Jihu Beach and can be walked to. The hotel's restaurant is also good. The only regret is that it was the fishing season when I went there, so I didn't eat too much seafood."

"The large villa, boasting a prime beachfront location, was simply breathtaking. Opening the window immediately offered stunning sea views. Nantangtu Beach is just a stone's throw away, with its incredibly soft sand and gentle waves – the vast, azure ocean felt like it was all ours! We had a fantastic time on the beach with the kids, playing in the surf, going out to sea, and even trying out an amphibious vehicle. The hotel's own water park was a huge hit with the little ones, offering swimming, water slides, and a wave pool for some surfing fun! We instantly felt the pure joy of a beach holiday; a whole day wasn't nearly enough to enjoy everything. The villa itself was wonderfully designed, immaculately clean, and luxuriously appointed, with everything very well-maintained. We'll definitely choose the Ramada Hotel again for our next visit to Shengsi – it truly delivered a complete and immersive holiday experience."

"Perched on a cliff, the views from this guesthouse are, of course, incredible. The only minor workout is the uphill walk back after exploring, haha. To the left of the guesthouse entrance, you'll quickly reach Xiyang Bay, boasting super beautiful scenery. Turn right and head downhill; a short walk following your navigation will lead you directly to the town center. The large swimming pool features a swing chair, perfect for sitting in the evening, enjoying the sea breeze, and watching the sunset. It's incredibly relaxing, as the platform offers wide, unobstructed views. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The only slight hiccup was the balcony door; I couldn't figure out how to open it for a long time, and the front desk eventually had to come up and show me. Otherwise, everything else was perfectly fine. Each room receives two complimentary drinks; just ask the bar. They also provide a convenient free pier shuttle service. All my photos were taken within the guesthouse grounds. There's no need to even step out; you can easily spend hours capturing beautiful shots right here. The lower level, in particular, has a wonderful Moroccan vibe. On checkout day, the kind lady at the bar noticed me waiting for my driver and thoughtfully brought me a complimentary slice of watermelon."

"Overall, I am very satisfied. The homestay environment is especially suitable for my lazy holiday travel. Because I chose to travel on a staggered peak, the boss was super good and gave me a free upgrade to the sea view room. So I stayed at the homestay for most of the days. My friend and I bought the dishes for the boss to make. I dare to say that it is 10 times better than the outside. Hahaha, I sincerely suggest that you try the boss’s craftsmanship. After eating, I have been talking to us about life and ideals. During the chat, we also sent us beer. The money for the processing materials also reduced me by 20 yuan. 3. As soon as I entered the house, I felt like I was back home, very comfortable! ❤️Praise the housekeeper sister and brother of other people's houses for being so nice! When I first arrived on the island, the temperature suddenly dropped. The sister lent me a super windproof coat to wear. The next day, my sweater fell into the sea again. It was not dry when I left after several days of drying. As it turned out, this coat saved me for three days! Grateful heart! ❤️Praise the breakfast every morning. RRares MAn excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns. All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.
