Guest UserI highly recommend this guesthouse! It's located right in the city center, but on a quiet side street. It's about a 6-7 minute walk to the Monument, 20 minutes to the Royal Palace, and a little over 20 minutes to the riverside. The hotel has a pleasant courtyard, music, a billiard table, and an inexpensive restaurant. There's also an outdoor pool. Cute cats roam around! The guests are mostly Europeans. My room (106) was the closest to the pool, and it was quiet. The window faced a fence, but that suited me just fine. The room had everything I needed – a kettle, a fridge, and a large bed. You can get free drinking water from the cafe. A fantastic place!!

苏敏The bed cushion is already not balanced, over all everything is ok, just the bed sheets they used is not bleached enough that's why it has stains, I thought it was dirty, maybe they need to bleach it for disinfection.
Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me, very close to everything
Food: It was good, love the Khmer Fried Rice
Amenities: There's a pool, darts, jengga, billiards, table top football
Recommend if you are not choosy in bed firmness. Will still come back here because I love the vibe and the location is very safe for walking.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is safe, comfortable, and conveniently situated in the Riverside district. It has a good cost performance (i.e. price-to-quality ratio). Not everything is perfect, but the staff makes up for it, they are friendly and helpful (special shout-out to Nita who is fantastic, she is the nicest person and she helped me with all my requests).
I originally booked a basic room until I found out a few days ahead the room had no window (I did not read the description carefully enough), so I upgraded for a “standard double room” with window. The first room I moved into did not have hot water. The hotel was not able to fix it, so eventually they moved me to another room where the hot water worked, which was great. The room did not have a chair and desk, but I asked the staff and they brought one. At some point, Nita helped me arrange a laundry load. It was done overnight and cost 3 dollars, so it seems the laundry is outsourced to a nearby business.
At night, the street can be a little loud, there are many bars, KTVs and nightclubs located here. But it did not bother me, I could sleep through it easily. Many of the bars have hordes of pretty women who, beginning at dusk, sit outside and come ask you to drink with them. They get your attention by shouting “hello”, “come here”, “handsome” and “bong” (mister) as you are walking by. In any event, this did not bother me, I never actually felt harassed and could come and go the hotel as I pleased.
The description mentioned the room would have a minibar, but my room didn’t have one. Probably I could have asked for it, but I realized I didn’t need one.
One morning, there was a visit by the police, they were checking visas and passports from all foreign hotel guests. This was unexpected, but it went smoothly.
Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would probably come here again. Not everything is perfect, but I give it 4.5 stars (4 stars for the price/quality/location plus an extra half-staff bonus for the staff, especially Nita).

The hotel is just few years old, modern decor with good bed, balcony, fridge, kettle and it is clean.
Next door is a restaurant where breakfast is served as well as lunch or evening meal. It is in a quiet location giving good night sleep. If you prefer to eat elsewhere there are plenty of places nearby.
Based short tuctuc ride from the airport.
Definitely value for money, I will be returning.

LikeboozewithatTurned up at 6am as arrived on the overnight bus. My 2 cabin cases were carried upstairs for me to my awaiting “pod”! It had a light, plug socket & usb socket and fan, clean bedding! I slept for 5 hours until I had to leave for my plane. Bed was comfy, slept like a baby. Didn’t have time to use the amenities but saw a pool, a bar, pool table, menus , plenty of games - looked like it would’ve been a fun time! Arrived at the airport and realised I’d left my backpack & laptop etc !!! Couldn’t find the telephone no: but sent a grab and the bar man helped locate it and I managed to get it before the flight! If only I’d had more time - looked fun !

The Point Misses the Mark: A Stay That Fell Short
The Point Hotel had its moment—a sleek remodel a few years back—but time hasn’t been kind. What’s left is a place that feels worn at the edges, like a once-sharp suit now fraying at the cuffs. The staff? Polite, accommodating, even apologetic. But good intentions can’t paper over the cracks.
My first room was a sauna masquerading as a 9th-floor suite. The AC wheezed and sputtered, utterly defeated by the Phenom Penh sun. No relief, no breeze—just stale, humid air and the creeping realization that I’d made a mistake. To add insult to injury, the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent, turning what should’ve been a quick work call into a farce. Picture this: me, pacing a narrow corridor, hauling luggage up and down an elevator that demanded its own special key (which, of course, I kept forgetting). A comedy of errors—if only it were funny.
Then came the housekeeper—efficient to the point of abrupt, offering solutions that felt more performative than practical. When I finally called Trip.com for help, the spotty connection turned the conversation into a game of broken telephone. (Irony, thy name is weak Wi-Fi.)
The staff did relocate me to another room, but by then, the damage was done. Too many red flags, too little charm. I checked out early, still wondering what, exactly, ”The Point” was supposed to be. A lesson learned, if nothing else: sometimes, a fresh coat of paint isn’t enough.

VnuzWhat I Appreciated:
1. Spacious Layout: The lobby is wide and comfortable for waiting, and I found the room itself to be very generously sized.
2. Cleanliness: I was pleased to find the bed linens and towels were fresh and clean.
3. Amenities: The bathroom was well-maintained, and the provided toiletries were of an acceptable standard.
Areas for Improvement:
1. Service Consistency: My check-in experience was underwhelming; the receptionist was not particularly welcoming and did not offer assistance with my multiple pieces of luggage. However, I want to commend staff when I checked out. He was incredibly friendly and helpful with all my inquiries.
2. Room Maintenance: There was a noticeable, unpleasant odor coming from the refrigerator upon my arrival (likely left over from a previous guest). I suggest a more thorough inspection of appliances during the turnover process.

LivvyirvHotel was ideal for our short stay, it’s in a perfect location it’s so close to the palace and water front. The room we had was in an apartment so there was another room which someone was staying in but we had separate bathrooms and the door could lock. Bed was a little hard, but everything was really clean and tidy. Public area modern but our room a little dated than the pictures. But staff very accommodating and friendly.
