"Pros that make me want to come back:
1. The biggest asset of this hotel, in my opinion, is the staff's politeness and loyalty. By this criterion, this hotel is the best I've stayed at so far. If you're traveling with kids, you'll really appreciate it.
2. They have rooms with both a large and a regular bed in one room for a reasonable price, which is convenient if you're planning a stay with children.
3. The breakfasts are hearty, and the coffee is delicious.
There's a promenade nearby, so there's a good place to walk around with kids.
Minor annoyances I'm willing to overlook:
1. The pool water is cold, despite the hot weather.
2. The waterfall shower head (see pool photos) is always turned off, so you can only dream about it.
3. The wake-up call can be late by about 50 minutes (that's what happened to us).
4. The latches on the balcony and bathroom doors didn't work, at least not in the room on the 8th floor.
5. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel where you could have lunch, if it weren't for the 'samovar' function, where guests are expected to cook for themselves. It's fun once, but then it gets tiring. However, tuk-tuks can solve this problem in a flash... for a fee.
Overall, I confidently recommend it; it's perfect for a couple of nights!"
