The homestay I chose this time is in the scenic area, very close to the south gate, and the location is absolutely perfect! You can drive to Wuye Temple and Shuxiang Temple in 10 minutes. The room is designed with log style, the mountain view on the roof is very good, sitting on the rooftop and drinking tea to see the scenery is particularly healing. The boss is a local, sent a detailed pilgrimage guide in advance, and also helped to make an appointment for the vehicle to enter the mountain, saving a lot of trouble. The bedding is clean and soft, the bathroom has a smart toilet and aromatherapy, and the details are full. If you come to Wutai Mountain to play, I highly recommend this one, the price is super high! The first time I went to Wutai Mountain, I chose a homestay and finally got a clean one. One is that I fancy the decoration style and the other is the price. I am very fortunate to have met a particularly good boss. I get up late in the morning or go back at night. I can’t wait for the car. I want the boss to pick up and drop off when I have time. On the last day, when we took a taxi to Taiyuan, the driver of the ride praised that this was the second good boss he had seen who could send guests to the entrance of the scenic spot. 👍 Breakfast was also praised. Although it was simple but delicious, it was at least several times stronger than the two or three hundred vegetarian food we ate in the scenic spot. Several times, I was very satisfied with staying for three days.

The overall decor is simple yet elegant, and the common areas are clean and clutter-free. The guest rooms are packed with thoughtful details, and the toiletries are comprehensive. The soundproofing is excellent; you can't hear any noise from the hallway at all. The staff are polite and attentive. The location is very convenient for transportation, making it suitable for both business trips and tourism. The service is top-notch, including shuttle service within the scenic area, and the breakfast is truly authentic. I've saved this place and will definitely be back!

The environment is truly elegant, with a new Chinese style decoration exuding a sense of Zen. The calligraphy table is large and sturdy enough, so writing large characters feels unconfined. The tea ceremony setup in the rest area is very thoughtfully arranged; after writing, enjoying a cup of tea makes even the air feel slower. The garden design is also very tasteful; it's clear the owner has refined taste and a discerning eye. They even treated us to breakfast, and the chef was very enthusiastic, making delicious food. For our Spring Festival holiday trip to Wutai Mountain, we booked the Huazhu Duicui Pavilion B&B in advance through Ctrip, specifically for its value for money, and it certainly didn't disappoint. On the evening of the second day of the ***** New Year, we drove up the mountain from the North Gate and arrived at the B&B smoothly. The location was excellent, just a short distance from the roadside, quiet yet convenient, with easy parking and charging stations nearby. The B&B was spacious and warm from the moment we entered. The lobby and common areas were grand, like a luxury hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the staff helped us with our luggage upstairs to our room – excellent service. The room was spacious and bright, with two 1.35-meter beds, enough for a family. The underfloor heating was excellent, the decor was tasteful, the bedding was new, clean, and the facilities were complete – everything was perfect. Breakfast, though simple, was hot and filling. When we needed to get to the attractions, the B&B thoughtfully arranged transportation to the nearby bus stop, which was very thoughtful and truly five-star service. The overall environment of the B&B was very nice, and the cats were adorable, which my child loved to play with. Overall, the Duicui Pavilion B&B in Wutaishan offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended.

Looking at the outdoor photos of the hotel, I thought it would be one of those places with its own courtyard. However, upon arrival, I realized the pictures were just well-taken; it's actually a hotel right by the main road. Our room was at the very end and faced west, so I was initially worried about road noise at night, but it turned out to be surprisingly quiet. The reservation originally included only one child's breakfast, but when I spoke to the front desk attendant, she kindly extended it to all three of us, which was a nice touch! The bed, pillows, and duvet were indeed very comfortable, soft, and clean. The room's cleanliness was also decent. The space wasn't as large as I expected, but it was perfectly adequate – it's not like we needed to run around in it! I just thought for over 900 yuan, it would be much bigger and better. However, when we first entered, the smell wasn't pleasant; it was like the previous occupant was an elderly person, or perhaps it had a general 'old person' smell. Secondly, the air conditioning wasn't very effective, and there was no remote control – maybe it was removed, or perhaps AC isn't needed this time of year? Even though it wasn't very cold when we checked in, for those who get chilly easily, it felt like it would need to be on at night. Everything else was quite good! Ultimately, with the price hike for the May Day holiday, I didn't feel it was entirely worth the 900+ yuan per night.

Nice hotel stay! Within walking distance from the 云峰宾馆 bus stop where bus no.8 takes you to all most all temples within the Wutaishan Scenic District. The double room is spacious with modern facilities and the nice part is there is a little balcony besides the window where you can enjoy tea. The host is super helpful too, offering free service pickup from / dropoff at the public bus carpark. Overall a five star experience and would definitely come back again!

Last stop of the year! I randomly chose a place to stay and found that it was indeed one of the top temples in the north. The hotel was like a small world full of Zen. As the Chinese New Year approaches, there are still a lot of tourists, so it’s a plus that the accommodation environment remains quiet. It seems that the hotel has a new owner. Before leaving, the little boss kept asking if there was anything wrong and if he had any comments. The service of the newly opened old hotel is very considerate. The bedding and everything are brand new, clean and soft, and I have become more religious when sleeping. I came at the right time. It's very close to Wuye Temple. It only takes ten minutes to get up in the morning to have a meal, load up the car and set off there, so there's no rush at all. It should be a store that is close and has high cost performance.

Even if it's hard to get tickets for Mount Wutai online, it's still possible to buy them offline, except during the Chinese New Year period (4th to 5th day). The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a ten-minute walk from the bus station. However, since you have to climb a few hills, I felt a bit tired after walking for a few minutes once inside the hotel. While the room facilities are a bit dated, the underfloor heating made it very warm and comfortable during winter. The breakfast was rather basic, and although the equipment seemed a bit old, the staff were still very friendly.
