Tesia LollyEscape the hustle and bustle of the city and find a secluded haven amidst the green mountains of Tonglu: Nanshan Yijing.
The gentle, minimalist space, with its log cabins and wabi-sabi aesthetic, is bathed in sunlight streaming through the glass swimming pool overhead. Looking down, you can see the water rippling, and the play of light and shadow gently dances within the room—a uniquely romantic touch.
Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows reveals a tranquil mountain landscape: rolling green hills, rice paddies, and ancient trees. Sipping a drink by the window, watching the artificial rain curtain fall softly, the sound of rain mingling with the verdant scenery, instantly soothes all anxieties.
This place offers more than just beautiful scenery; it boasts a wealth of recreational facilities: an indoor pool table, retro arcade games, and a children's building block area—a dedicated play area for kids and a relaxing space for adults; a private hot spring courtyard and an outdoor lawn with a canopy—perfect for picnics and enjoying the breeze during the day, or soaking in the private hot spring in the evening while listening to the gentle breeze.
The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with a projector, allowing you to enjoy the mountain scenery from your bed or snuggle up to watch a movie before sleep. The bathrooms are fully equipped with smart home features, ensuring maximum comfort. A hearty Chinese breakfast is also provided each morning.
No need to rush; at Nanshan Yijing, slowing down is the true meaning of a vacation.
During the day, enjoy free stream trekking and water activities nearby, and at night, drift off to sleep to the gentle breeze of the mountain forest. A top choice for weekend getaways for families or friends in the Yangtze River Delta region.

## Nestled in Tonglu's Painterly Landscape | A Short Account of Yisongshuling, Lucun Village
As the outside world receded, the invigorating spirit of the landscape washed over me.
Stepping inside, it was immediately clear that the hosts possess a true appreciation for life. It wasn't about ostentatious 'design,' but rather a subtle integration of modern elements into aged wood, pristine white walls, and warm lighting. The room was spacious, and smart home features silently anticipated every need, making it feel like living in a futuristic poem – a poem, nonetheless, that rhymed with the mountains and the moon.
My absolute favorite was the window. Mornings brought mist hovering over the river like a delicate veil, while at night, stars seemed to tumble into the deep, inky mountains. Sitting quietly by the window, listening to the wind whisper through the bamboo and watching water birds glide over the emerald ripples, I suddenly understood why ancient scholars always sought to 'steal moments of leisure' – the sublime beauty of nature is, after all, the most priceless of gifts.
The home-cooked meals prepared by Auntie carried the warmth of the earth itself. Bamboo shoots, freshly dug from the back mountain that very morning, and fish, caught straight from the river, were simply prepared. Yet, their exquisite freshness transported me back to my grandmother's kitchen in childhood. Each bite felt like a gentle blessing from the mountains and waters.
The staff always greeted us with a smile, striking the perfect balance, like old friends. There was no need to ask; they had already quietly anticipated and prepared everything. And if solitude was desired, they would simply leave you with a tranquil, gentle quietude.
Departing felt like waking from a beautiful dream. This wasn't merely accommodation; it was unequivocally a few days spent dwelling in a fairyland. I left imbued with its spiritual essence, and I swear I even 'stole' half a window's worth of its magnificent scenery.
—Perhaps true luxury never needs to flaunt itself; it simply, gently restores you to being one with nature.
### Tips
* **Room types:** Diverse options available; a mountain view room is highly recommended.
* **Must-try dishes:** Auntie's local chicken hotpot and stir-fried wild bamboo shoots. My personal favorite was the freshly made dried vegetable and pork patty – incredibly fragrant!
* **Activities:** Take a stroll along the ancient path beside the guesthouse, where you can walk alongside the Fuchun River, with distant mountains as your backdrop.
* **Nearby attractions:** It's very close to the Mailing Ancient Path, definitely worth a hike.
The establishment was incredibly thoughtful. They helped upgrade our room, and when they heard our friend had to rush for a train and would miss breakfast, they kindly packed some fruit for them to eat on the go. Auntie also kept everything impeccably clean.
**”When paradise is here, why search elsewhere?”**

Guest UserThe room was spacious and very clean, easily accommodating three people without feeling cramped. It also had a large bathtub and a great projector. Downstairs, there's a big lawn, perfect for dogs to run around. Since it was winter, we didn't use the pool. Upstairs from the restaurant, you can play mahjong and billiards, so the entertainment facilities are quite comprehensive. Before we left, they even prepared a souvenir for us. The sweet potatoes at breakfast were delicious, and when I asked the owner if I could buy some, she gave me a whole bag for free – we're very grateful!

The decoration of the homestay is simple and elegant, the facilities are complete, and the surrounding scenery is also excellent. It is very comfortable to walk around in this season. The boss and his wife are very friendly and will tell us about the entertainment options in the surrounding area. All dishes are made to order. Just tell them what you want to eat in advance and they will buy it in town in advance. By the way, if you just want to play around the B&B, it is also very convenient. The owner has prepared a small boat for us, and it is very comfortable to sail in the small lake in front of the door. To sum up, it is highly recommended. It is a homestay that you are willing to come again after visiting.

It was absolutely perfect! The owners were so accommodating and welcoming. We had a few issues with uploading our passports into the system so best to have someone who speaks Chinese with you! The private hot springs was so nice and relaxing and under cover but still outside so even with thunderstorms you can still enjoy yourself, rooms were spacious and clean and had all the amenities except for toothbrushes and a fridge. Would recommend staying here 100%!

Peace and Quiet in the Mountains. This Hotel is a short drive to the south of Tonglu and into the hills. A superb spot for a quiet break away from the noise and busy city life of Hangzhou.
The room was spacious and well presented with a huge bed, very large seating area, Mini bar, fridge, air purifer and even a projector with movies.
The bathroom was well appointed with a rain shower and huge bath which was amazing for a soak after a day outside. Hot water with good pressure was always available. The towels and toiletries were of excellent quality.
Because the Hotel is in the mountains it is advised to pre order food if you plan on eating there as the staff have to go to the market to pick up supplies. We had dinner on our first night and I enjoyed it. The food was plentiful and full of flavour. We also enjoyed a couple of drinks downstairs at the lobby.
Breakfast is local style with rice porrige, pickles, egg and some fruit as well as steamed items.
You can take a walk nearby though I didn't find any path through the bamboos to the hills which would have been nice.
On the second night we took a car to the nearby village for dinner and a walk along the main river.

This place is nice, but i would not consider it a hotel. It’s somewhere in between a B&B and a hotel. The rooms are pretty ok in size and come with balconies, the aircon is strong enough for the hot summer days. However, be prepared to be far from any food or drink delivery! It is really remote. It has a great view, although they tell you they have a hotspring it is man-made u could just order the room with a bathtub it will be similar, and not need to pay 500rmb for it.
The in-house food is not bad, I would recommend to order one day in advance. They also offer for 500rmb, barbecue services which i think is outrageous as it does not include food cost. The beds in the room are very very uncomfortable. If u have a bad back, just go for the international starred hotels.
They have huge big insects coming in at night, do be careful not to let any of them in at night.

It wasn't as outstanding as it was two years ago. The room had a musty smell when I entered, and a foul odor came from the toilet when it was opened. The sink also drained incredibly slowly. I didn't expect my first stay to be so good, and the second one to be so disappointing. The breakfast options weren't as plentiful as before either. Perhaps because Sun Park opened and there are more guests, the hotel is showing its age and some issues are popping up. Parking is available right at the entrance, and the service was fine; the security guard was very proactive. I hope the hardware conditions can be improved.

We had a fantastic stay at the big house at Nine Cloud Homestead Resort, traveling with 6 adults and 4 children. The house is beautifully located at the foot of the mountain, with a huge garden full of lovely trees and flowers, making it peaceful and perfect for families.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent — special thanks to our dedicated housekeeper Aline, who was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The shuttle service between the hall and the house was very convenient, and guests can enjoy many free amenities including the swimming pool, gym, table tennis, and badminton courts.
A wonderful, relaxing stay — highly recommended for families and groups!

TielingtutuhaThe stay was very comfortable, and it felt like living in the embrace of the mountains. It was very crowded everywhere during the May Day holiday. We went to Daqi Mountain and played around the teahouse at the entrance. We didn't dare to go in. It was very quiet when we returned to the B&B.
The boss was also very nice. Because the B&B was halfway up the mountain, the last section of the road was difficult to drive, so he always came to pick us up.
I feel that there may be enough oxygen in the mountains, and I felt very energetic for the few days here. Haha~
The food was also delicious. We arrived at dinner time on the first day because of the traffic jam. We ordered dishes from the boss on the way. The service was in place👍
