"Compared to six years ago, Komodo has opened many new hotels. Although Plataran is not new, it feels the closest to nature. The traditional welcome ceremony is very interesting. The hotel is a little far from the city center, but you can help call a taxi. There are many free activities in the hotel. The snorkeling in the hotel is the most recommended. There are many corals and fish in the sea. There is a restaurant that is only for hotel guests. It tastes good and you can enjoy the food while watching the sunset."

This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"Facilities: Well-equipped and worth the price. Cleanliness: Spotless, no need to worry much. Environment: The Komodo 'ceiling' (meaning top-tier/best you can get), no need to compare; it's outstanding even in the off-season. Service: Warm and friendly, always responsive, communication was smooth. Although the food was mostly 'white people food' (Western cuisine), the quality was very good, and the flavors (both salty and mild) could still satisfy a Chinese palate. Wishing the hotel great business and many more 'fish' (guests)!"

"Pros: 1. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and provided excellent service. 2. There's a private snorkeling area, which was a great experience, especially since we didn't book a liveaboard. Cons: 1. No internet, no internet, no internet! Apart from a few rooms on the hilltop, most rooms have extremely poor mobile signal (you can barely receive messages). WiFi is only available at the front desk. The management's excuse is that they ”don't want external noise to disturb guests,” but it's one thing if I have it and choose not to use it, and quite another if I need it and it's not available. If you need to stay consistently connected, this hotel is definitely not for you. 2. Prices are quite high. Since it's on a private island, a slight markup is understandable, but sometimes the prices are ridiculously high. For example, the hotel organized a beach buffet for 700k Indonesian Rupiah, which is about 300+ RMB after tax. The seafood options were only grilled shrimp, squid, and fish (the first two were served very slowly), and the only meat was grilled chicken skewers. In contrast, on the main island, we bought two large lobsters, two mantis shrimp as thick as a woman's arm, and even got two free squids, all for just over 700 RMB."

"Excellent location, beautiful coral environment, excellent thoughtful service, excellent location, day trips do not have to go out without dawn, but you can have breakfast leisurely before leaving, from reception, transit car and boat, restaurant, guest room, bar, Dive service... Every staff member is warm and serious. I have lived in many top resorts in Southeast Asia. The last time I lived in Jimbaran, I was very objective. In addition to the hardware gap (such as room sound insulation, mosquitoes, internal environment, food richness, etc.), the other won. All natural conditions and professional services with top dive points, and excellent hotel room service, perfect. Only one, never eat Yangchun noodles, absolutely not"
