"The room was tiny, and as soon as I opened the door, there was a damp, musty smell. The air quality was really bad. Running the AC for ventilation barely helped, and if I turned the AC up too high, it would vibrate with the bathroom glass, making a rattling noise. I had to turn it off at night to get some sleep. I didn't encounter the bed bug issue mentioned in previous reviews, but I still brought my own hygienic sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases. It turns out it was absolutely necessary; the bedding definitely felt neglected, and you could tell it was a bit dirty just by touching it. I highly recommend bringing your own hygiene kit. Flushing the toilet was incredibly powerful; water splashed everywhere, soaking my toilet seat cover. Extremely annoying... The toilet paper and tissues were ridiculously thin, so bring your own. The only upside was that the shower had incredibly strong water pressure and super hot water, which made for a great shower (. Checking in on the 2nd took over ten minutes because the lobby was packed due to a holiday. On the 3rd, the bus to Tung Chung at noon was completely full; it seemed to coincide with a group of kids taking the SAT. The staff led us to the bus stop, and we waited for over ten minutes for a bus that was also packed, sos. The hotel's shuttle to Tung Chung only comes once an hour. If you can't wait, you can try catching the Marriott's shuttle across the street. It's the same coming back from Tung Chung; the two hotels are opposite each other. The Marriott's bus is less crowded and faster, while the Regal's bus takes a detour to pick up and drop off people at the Regala. The biggest advantage of the Regal is its direct access to the airport and its proximity to AsiaWorld-Expo. It's also cheaper than the Marriott, but for this price, the quality is even worse than some budget hotels... Choose the Regal for a short stay, but if you're staying for more than three days, definitely go for the Marriott."

"Location: Superb! 👍🏻 Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is right downstairs. It's only a 5-minute walk to the Avenue of Stars for Victoria Harbour views. The commercial area is well-developed, making it convenient to go anywhere. Environment: Given the price, I initially thought Haiphong Mansion might be an older building, but it was surprisingly clean, and the floors were well-maintained. Everything was organized, and despite being in a bustling area, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful! Truly rare. Food & Shopping: Eating, drinking, and entertainment are super convenient. Shopping 🛍️ and tourist attractions are just downstairs. You'll find everything from local cafes (Bing Sutt) to Japanese cuisine and BBQ, and it's all very affordable – excellent value for money. Room Environment: Clean and tidy. For this location in Hong Kong, especially during the National Day holiday, a clean and tidy space is simply incredible value. The host keeps everything meticulously organized, and all toiletries are provided. Experience: I originally came for the National Day holiday, not wanting to spend too much on accommodation, but I ended up booking this golden-value guesthouse. The owner is very nice, humorous, and interesting. I met people from all walks of life, and we chatted and shared our stories in the evenings. It had a very lively atmosphere, completely different from staying in a hotel. It felt like my university days were back again. P.S.: The host is quite attractive and has a good figure ദ്ദി(• ˕ •マ.ᐟ Single friends might want to strike up a conversation. Meeting more roommates could also be a great experience. In short, just go for it, you won't regret it!"

"The only advantage is direct access to the airport; you don't have to worry about getting wet walking through the covered walkway to the terminal. Other drawbacks include, but are not limited to: 1. The rooms need urgent renovation. Not only is the decor outdated, but there's a strong musty smell as soon as you enter. 2. The hotel corridors are dimly lit like a maze; if you've seen the movie 'The Shining,' you'll understand what I mean. 3. There are so few power outlets, and only British-style large plugs plus old USB ports. For a place like Hong Kong International Airport, which welcomes travelers from all over the world, this is even worse than a Hanting Hotel. Anyway, as the only hotel with direct access to Hong Kong International Airport terminal, the Regal Hotel offers unparalleled convenience. Their attitude is basically 'take it or leave it.' For those arriving late on a connecting flight or needing to catch an early flight, it's an acceptable place to crash for a night."

"Facilities: The room size is decent, and the twin beds have a comfortable firmness. On higher floors, there's basically no external noise; the air conditioning is cold enough. However, there are very few power outlets in the room, with no bedside outlets, so phones can only be charged at the desk, requiring a British standard adapter. Be careful of slippery floors in the shower. There's no dirty towel basket. Other aspects like hot water speed and pressure are normal. Toothpaste/toothbrushes and disposable slippers are provided, but not combs, razors, or shower caps. There are no tissues or complimentary water in the bedroom. Location: Located in Kwun Tong, surrounded by industrial buildings, which isn't like the heavy trucks and dust of mainland China – it's a very authentic Hong Kong street scene. Within about a ten-minute walk from the hotel, there are many 'cha chaan tengs' (local diners) to choose from, and Kwun Tong Plaza offers a lively shopping area. There are also convenience stores nearby, so food is absolutely not an issue. Transportation: Ngau Tau Kok MTR station and Kwun Tong Bus Terminus are not far. Getting to Tsim Sha Tsui isn't particularly close, as it requires a transfer on the MTR. I'd highly recommend taking KMB bus 215X directly to the vicinity of the Avenue of Stars, or KMB bus 619 directly to Central. The latter route goes through the Eastern District to Hong Kong Island, passing many street scenes of Hong Kong Island, which you can enjoy leisurely. After getting off, it's not far to walk to the Peak Tram. There's also a direct cross-border bus from Shenzhen Bay Port to Kwun Tong, and then a walk to the hotel. Check-in and Check-out: I don't recommend checking in before 2 PM. After checking in, you'll still have to queue again after 2 PM to get your room card. It's better to just queue once after 2 PM to get everything done (unless there's no queue). Check-out is quick; just hand your room card to the front desk, and after they remind you to take all your belongings, you can leave. Luggage storage is available. Price: The hotel price isn't high (especially during the National Day holiday). I booked a 'partial sea view' room, which was literally a 'sliver' of a sea view – quite useless. If there's a significant price difference, I'd suggest it's completely unnecessary; either go for a superior twin room or a full sea view room. Special Complaint: The air conditioning is a bit noisy. I'd recommend setting the thermostat to a low fan speed, which helps, but there's still some sound. For someone like me who falls asleep in three minutes, it's not a problem, but good luck to those sensitive to noise. Overall: I came to Hong Kong for a two-day 'City Walk' and saw that this hotel's price wasn't too high, and it's near Kai Tak, so I booked it. Overall, I'm satisfied 👍. Transportation is hassle-free. If hotel prices in the city center are too expensive, this is a good alternative. I watched the National Day fireworks display, didn't rush to attractions, woke up naturally, strolled, ate, and looked around. I parked my car near Shenzhen Bay Port, and the parking fee wasn't expensive. It was fine to cross the border later on the day of return. "Before my trip, I was searching for hotels with Victoria Harbour views and stumbled upon Kerry Hotel, which had excellent reviews and great value for money. I saw that it had zero negative reviews and the sea view rooms offered a panoramic floor-to-ceiling view of the harbour. As hotel prices tend to go up during the National Day holiday, after some research, I decided Kerry Hotel offered the best value. I promptly booked a sea view room. I checked in after 10 PM, and the check-in process was seamless. The hotel lobby was absolutely stunning. Upon entering my room on the 12th floor, I was utterly captivated by the night view of Victoria Harbour – it was incredibly beautiful! Waking up the next morning and drawing the curtains to reveal the morning harbour view was even more breathtaking. Throughout my stay, I absolutely loved admiring the stunning scenery from my bedside; it truly lifted my spirits. The hotel breakfast is also highly recommended, with a wide variety of Western and Hong Kong-style options, all delicious. As a family of four, my son and daughter also enjoyed the hotel breakfast."

The window couldn't be opened but it was large and offered a partial sea view. My husband and I were very satisfied ☺️. The hotel included bread and unlimited coffee, which is excellent in Hong Kong and saved us money on breakfast. Highly recommend! It's not far from the MTR station, just a few minutes' walk, and there's a tram stop right downstairs – the experience was fantastic! Oh, and the front desk staff could communicate entirely in Mandarin, which was great! We arrived early and were able to check in ahead of time 😏. You need to bring your own power adapter – don't forget that! The Wi-Fi speed was very fast! Selected breakfast and all-day coffee and tea at iLounge: The room was clean. "During the National Day holiday, I accompanied my mother to Hong Kong for a friend's daughter's wedding. After the successful wedding, we decided to extend our stay for two more days and chose to check into the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. It's a well-established five-star brand with an excellent location, directly facing Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained and clean. The rooms have an old-fashioned style, exuding a classic, retro charm. The room size is quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, comfortable and cozy. We booked a partial sea view room, but couldn't fully see the sea view. The breakfast was very busy with many diners, but it was quite rich and delicious. Overall, we had a good experience! ❤️💙🩷"

The room size is standard for a luxury hotel in Hong Kong. The most notable design highlight in the room is undoubtedly the transparent space between the bathtub and the bedroom, which makes excellent use of the already limited space."

"The hotel's location is excellent, offering a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour. This is my second visit. This time, our room window directly faced the Convention and Exhibition Centre, providing an absolutely first-class view. On the evening of October 1st, we watched the National Day fireworks over Victoria Harbour from our room – it was like having a private royal box! Definitely a big thumbs up!"
