Established in 1957, the Canton Fair is China's oldest, largest, and most representative trade show. Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, it features over 25,000 to 30,000 exhibitors per session across a massive venue space.

Staying at the Guangzhou Jianguo Hotel, the location is excellent, making transportation very convenient. There are many dining options around the hotel, so finding food is a breeze. The hotel is an older star-rated property, so the room facilities are a bit dated, the indoor lighting is dim, and the mattress is quite soft. The bathroom is equipped with a smart toilet, which was a nice touch, but showering requires stepping into the bathtub, which isn't very convenient for getting in and out. On the plus side, the water pressure is good, and hot water supply is stable. The closet hangers are vertically oriented, making it a bit awkward to retrieve clothes. Both the Chinese and Western restaurants in the hotel offer good quality food with nice flavors. Considering the overall price, it offers excellent value for money among hotels of the same star rating. If you don't mind a slightly older feel to the facilities and prioritize location for your travels, this hotel is a good choice.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. The room itself has a kitchen, a fridge, and even a washing machine. Plus, the gym is open 24/7, which is perfect for anyone who's disciplined about their workouts! The front desk staff were really quick with check-in, and when I asked about the surrounding area, they patiently answered all my questions. The overall service was meticulous and thoughtful. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Guangzhou!

We booked this hotel specifically for the 40th-floor kids' club, but it turned out to be a bit of a letdown. We came to Guangzhou with our child, and after seeing many reviews praising the Westin's indoor kids' club on the 40th floor, we decided to stay here. Unfortunately, the kids' club was quite disappointing – there was a strong, pungent smell inside. I'm not sure if it's been recently renovated, but even as an adult, I felt a bit dizzy after a few minutes, let alone letting my child play in there. On top of that, it only opens at 12 PM daily, and there wasn't a single staff member in sight, which honestly made me a bit uneasy. However, putting the kids' club aside, the rest of the hotel was excellent. Our stay on the executive floor was very satisfying, with attentive service. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with plenty of options for both adults and children. The location is also very convenient, close to shopping and dining. While the heated pool isn't huge, the water temperature was comfortable and perfectly adequate for children to splash around in. Overall, if you're booking this hotel solely for the kids' club, like we did, you might want to reconsider. I hope the hotel addresses the indoor air quality issue, as health and safety are paramount when traveling with children. However, if you're here for a business trip or prioritize the executive benefits, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

Pros: The hotel has an excellent location, close to many well-known restaurants and shopping malls, making it very convenient to get almost anything you need. The staff were polite and always greeted us warmly. They also tried their best to fulfil my requests noted in the booking remarks. As I was travelling with elderly parents, they kindly arranged anti-slip mats for every bathroom. Many tables were also fitted with protective coverings to help reduce the risk of injury. Cons: The bathroom floor towel had a lipstick stain. I also requested a bolster, but instead received two pillows tied together, which was a bit disappointing. The lift can be quite slow. Overall: My parents and I enjoyed our stay at Fraser and would consider staying again!

The hotel was as good as expected. After checking in, we had about an hour of free time, so we went to the hotel lobby lounge for a coffee. Both the ambiance and the drinks were great. The breakfast selection was also rich. The room was large and quiet, and the shower pressure was strong enough. A special mention goes to the incredibly helpful and friendly staff at the front desk and the housekeeping team. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is an absolute winner! The hotel has direct access to TeeMall, and it's within walking distance to Parc Central and Grandview Mall. The Sports West Road subway station is also very close, so you can shop and find food without enduring the elements – super convenient for getting around. Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk staff were pleasant and easy to communicate with. The room was spacious with large windows offering expansive views. The mattress was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a great night's rest after a day of exploring. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the hot water was stable, and the cleaning was meticulous, leaving it spotless and odor-free. Amenities are comprehensive; the heated pool and gym were both fully operational. What's more, you can store your luggage for free after check-out, which is a thoughtful touch, allowing us to pick it up after we'd finished exploring the shopping districts. This established five-star hotel truly delivers on reliability. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel/food adventures. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Tianhe, Guangzhou! Also, a big thank you to the staff for providing us with complimentary breakfast!

I've been staying at the Baiyun Hotel for a while now, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with their service. I had a very satisfying stay this time; the hotel is quite good. Its location is excellent, making travel convenient, and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making life very easy. The rooms were cleaned spotlessly, the bedding was comfortable, and the natural light and ventilation were good. The hot water in the bathroom was stable, and the infrastructure was well-maintained. The front desk service was warm and efficient for check-in and check-out, and they responded promptly to any requests. The overall environment was quiet, allowing for good rest. The price offers great value for money, making it suitable for both business trips and short getaways. The overall experience was excellent, and I would choose to stay here again next time and recommend it to others. The stay was fantastic. After staying at this hotel, all I can say is: the experience was absolutely amazing! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, making it easy to sleep until I woke up naturally. Moreover, the hotel's location is superb, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, making it incredibly convenient to go out. Facilities: Well-equipped, American-style decor, everything is online and timeless. Hygiene: Established cleanliness, but details like table corners could use more attention. Environment: You can shop, eat, drink, play, and visit a museum all within the hotel. Service: Everyone is on point, and the switchboard processes calls immediately. As the only national brand among China's three platinum five-star hotels, it boasts unique historical and cultural elements, and is a symbol of China's reform and opening-up. Its history and ethos are evident. My first impression during check-in was that everyone was very busy; while check-in was slow, the staff were very pleasant. As a Lingkehui Gold Card member, in addition to a room upgrade, I also received complimentary breakfast and executive lounge access. If room availability allows, late checkout until 2 PM is possible. The hotel has a very high occupancy rate, with many foreign guests and airline crew. There might be some communication gaps between departments like housekeeping and restaurants. This time, my Deluxe King room was upgraded to a Red Kapok King Suite. The room, being older, combined with ongoing government construction nearby, meant the soundproofing was a bit lacking. The extra bed was too soft and a bit uncomfortable, and some other hardware in the room was a bit dated, but it didn't detract too much from the stay. On the first floor, there's an outdoor back garden with a small waterfall, both popular photo spots. I saw many people taking pictures, it was lively. The ornamental fish in the pond were huge. On the 4th floor, there's a free, public Garden Hotel Museum (closed Mondays), which is well worth a visit, explaining the development history of various hotels and just how amazing Garden Hotel is. You really must spend some time exploring it. The gym (well-equipped) and outdoor swimming pool (not heated) are on the other side of the 4th floor, with two squash courts (reservation required). All hotel signage is in Chinese, English, and Japanese. There's currently construction outside the hotel (the typical 'dong dong dong' sound of Guangzhou)... You really should experience our Garden Hotel with its Lingnan characteristics.

The service still lives up to the reputation of an established hotel. However, the cleanliness was truly appalling. I ended up having to clean the bathtub myself. The reason I didn't ask housekeeping was because I wouldn't have trusted it even if they had cleaned it. So, I took matters into my own hands with alcohol wipes. To my surprise, after wiping it down, the bathtub was incredibly dirty, leaving a black mark on my hand from the grime. This really doesn't meet the standards expected of an old-school five-star hotel.

Decided to take a spontaneous trip during the May Day holiday and looked into nearby resorts. Mulian Zhuang came highly recommended for its overall value for money, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived on the afternoon of the 30th, which helped us avoid the peak rush. From the parking attendant to the front desk staff and the shuttle bus driver, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. The front desk kindly upgraded our room to one by the lake, which was incredibly comfortable and offered a more peaceful environment. The first day was a bit chilly, but lying on the balcony deckchair, listening to the birds and the sound of the water, was incredibly relaxing. It really helped us achieve our vacation goals, haha! The hotel itself is designed like a garden, with rooms scattered across the hillside, connected by small paths. This layout ensures minimal disturbance between guests. Taking a leisurely stroll around is lovely, and if you don't feel like walking, you can always 'call' for the park shuttle, which is very convenient. If you're looking for peace and quiet, soaking in the hot springs or swimming here are excellent choices. I was so engrossed in the scenery that I barely took any photos!

I stumbled upon this hotel online, and it's not too far from Guangzhou. When I booked, I mentioned it was for a birthday, and they were thoughtful enough to arrange some birthday decorations. I think both the service and the room were quite good. The environment is also lovely, with a large green area and fresh air, a nice escape from the city bustle, which is very relaxing. My main critique is that the food needs improvement, and the hot spring pools too – there were too many leaves and no one seemed to be clearing them out. The experience wasn't great. I hope the hotel can improve these aspects to make it even more perfect.

The room was clean and tidy. What pleased me most was the hairdryer – they've upgraded it to a new model, and the power and temperature are just right. The temperature adjustment cools down quickly, which I really appreciated! We had dinner directly at the hotel's Chinese restaurant (Cantonese cuisine), and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The hot springs were very relaxing. Even though it's summer, the evenings here are cooler than in the city, making it perfect for a soak. We went after dinner, alternating between soaking and relaxing, and had plenty of time. My only minor gripe was with breakfast; the variety of dishes didn't seem as extensive as before. I think they could make some adjustments there. Also, I was quite unhappy that there was no one managing the queue at the noodle soup station. I was queuing properly, but then people without any queuing etiquette just crowded together, making it chaotic and easy for people to cut in line. Guests trying to maintain order themselves can easily lead to arguments. I really hope they can assign staff specifically for guidance during peak times, rather than having one person do multiple jobs, as the staff preparing food inside can't possibly manage this. The same applies to the hot spring lounge. Last night, I even saw someone using the cookie tongs to pick up fruit, and when I wanted fruit, all the tongs were gone. The lack of order was frustrating. While there were enough items for everyone, some inconsiderate guests can really ruin the experience. I believe the hotel has a responsibility to monitor and improve such situations.

The room was very spacious, and the courtyard environment was quite pleasant with almost no insects, making evenings quite comfortable. However, could the bed linen, living room pillowcases, and chair cushions be changed more frequently? They were a bit dirty; I didn't even dare to sit on them. The hot spring bath was very comfortable; the water could be refilled endlessly without extra charge, which was great. The pool was also quite clean. The restaurant food was just so-so, nothing special to mention. I'd recommend eating at a nearby farmhouse instead.

The room was excellent, with a good amount of space. The front desk upgraded us to a high-floor smart room, which was spotlessly clean. The disposable amenities were a bit basic but covered the essentials, and the toiletries for washing and showering were of good quality. The service was also great; perhaps because of the high temperatures during the day, the hotel even provided herbal tea to every guest, which was very much appreciated! Although this hotel is rated 4-star, I felt it was better than some 5-star hotels in Guangzhou. The breakfast and lunch offerings were both very good, and there's even morning tea available on the top floor. As soon as we got out of the car, the bellboy promptly came over to help with our luggage, and then we checked in directly at the Executive Lounge. It was very efficient, and we didn't have to wait in line at the main lobby. The hotel had thoughtfully prepared a card and a cake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a very nice touch. What left the deepest impression was the service. No matter where we were in the hotel, every staff member we encountered greeted us kindly, making us feel right at home. I'd especially like to commend Nicolo from the Executive Lounge, Oriental Club. From the moment we checked in, he was incredibly welcoming. Every time we visited the Executive Lounge, he remembered our names and always chatted with us pleasantly, with a smile on his face. His service was professional and friendly, adding many wonderful memories to our trip. Additionally, Yamy and Silvia, who handled our check-out at the Executive Lounge, proactively asked if we wanted to pack some drinks and also gave us a refrigerator magnet. The only thing that needs improvement is the late check-out policy. The front desk initially told me that it depended on availability and was generally not possible, and in the end, they could only extend it until 2 PM. Considering that hotels of a similar caliber usually offer more flexible late check-out options, I hope the hotel will actively consider extending the late check-out time.

Traveling with kids, I communicated with the hotel beforehand for a fun children's setup. The kids loved the tent 🏕️, but they found the camel 🐫 toy plushie a bit too ugly. The bellhop helped with our luggage, and the housekeeping auntie, seeing the messy room, even proactively asked if we needed it tidied, which was really heartwarming. The lifeguard at the outdoor pool was also very responsible, providing attentive and detailed service. Aside from the restaurant taking a while to serve during peak hours, everything else was excellent, and the overall service was fantastic 👍👍👍. I'll definitely choose Jumeirah again next time I'm in Guangzhou ❤️

The room was clean and the facilities were relatively new, with a nice view outside the window. Overall, it still had an old-money vibe, as the hotel's age is undeniable, and even renovations have their limitations. I particularly want to mention the faucet in the bathroom sink – it didn't have a filter, and the spout was quite high, so water splashed everywhere when turned on. The instant coffee in the room was terrible, though the coffee machine in the buffet restaurant was decent. For the buffet lunch, the desserts, ice cream, and fruit were good, but the main courses were mediocre. The sashimi always had a long line, and its presentation was a bit lacking. Regarding the ”Golden Ball Lychee Pastry”: it was advertised as one per day, but I didn't receive it on subsequent days of my stay.

Our stay was wonderful. Housekeeper Julie was our point of contact throughout, making communication very easy, and all our requests during the stay were promptly met. Maggie at the front desk handled our check-in efficiently and smoothly, making the whole process hassle-free. We were very interested in the sky bar, and Vivi was exceptionally enthusiastic in showing us around and giving a detailed introduction. Joplin was also equally warm and attentive. The hotel offers expansive high-altitude views, and its design blends Eastern aesthetics, exuding elegance everywhere. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and we will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Guangzhou.

The hotel is wow! They have free transportation from terminals. If you arrived at terminal 2, after passing passport control, go to the second floor to departure hall and find exit 46. The bus from the hotel will pick you up right there, outside the exit. Reception guys are very helpful, they helped with your luggage and anything you need. The room itself is very spacious. The floor in the room is so soft, like a cloud! The bed is very comfortable, pillows just amazing! The bath robe is so soft, double layered, I loved it. All you need you have in a room. Only one thing can be improved, could be nice if there would be face wash and face lotion at least. Overall, very pleasant stopover experience. Would book again for longer stopover to discover hotel’s spa and restaurant.

An experience that exceeded our expectations! As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a doorman greeted us, opened the car door, took our luggage, and escorted us all the way to the hotel elevator. When we checked in, the front desk lady was very kind. We originally booked a river view room, which doesn't have a view of Canton Tower, but she told us that since we were staying for three nights, she upgraded us to a tower view room. We were so pleasantly surprised! The next day was my child's birthday, and she said they would send a cake to our room. She also thoughtfully asked about our travel plans, mentioning that we could contact them anytime for any needs and that they could even provide travel tips. The staff's service attitude was truly heartwarming and considerate! 💖 Although the hotel has been open for over a decade, it's very well-maintained. The overall style is understated luxury, without excessive or gaudy decorations; it's simple and clean. I was particularly impressed by the dark green room doors with their smooth, rich finish and excellent texture. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest room offer expansive views, overlooking the entire Canton Tower. The marble bathroom and soft, skin-friendly bedding – you can tell from many small details that the materials used are exquisite and carefully selected. For the birthday, we booked the Prime Steakhouse on the 100th floor. The table was sprinkled with rose petals, and there was even a 'Happy Birthday' letter sign, making it feel very ceremonial. The restaurant also gave us a red velvet cake, and when we left, they gave us shell-shaped cakes. Back in our room, there was yet another red velvet cake from the hotel! Haha, they are truly thoughtful... A big thank you again to the hotel for their thoughtful and meticulous service, which gave us an unforgettable birthday trip! 💐

The room was very clean, though there were some minor damp stains on the ceiling, walls, and in the bathroom. Overall, it was excellent. The front desk staff were also very helpful; any issues were promptly addressed and resolved. Food delivery was incredibly convenient, with a QR code on the desk for one-click ordering. The hotel's surroundings were lively, perfect for a stroll, and there was a 24-hour dim sum restaurant right outside with delicious food.

This hotel was perfect for attending Chen Chusheng's concert. It's just one subway stop from University Town, so getting back to the hotel quickly after the show was a breeze. A big shout-out to Guangzhou's excellent management; the order was fantastic! The hotel's location deserves full marks – it's right by subway exit A, super close! 😁 The higher floor offered great views, and the room was spacious. The breakfast had delicious bread and waffles 🧇, tasty freshly made rice noodles, and plenty of fruit. We enjoyed the views while we ate. Both the floor staff and the ground floor attendants were very friendly. If you have time, you can also walk along the greenway on the island. The only downside is the price, around 500 a night, but overall, it was a good experience.

The hotel is 3 minutes from Shiqiao station. There is a bus line in front of the hotel that takes you to Shawan old town and other sites. It is across from a local mall with a lot of eateries. My only complaint is the cloth drier is hard to use without WeChat pay. Anyway, it is a good stay at this property.

The room was bright and clean. It's a rare find in the Xiaobei area, with an excellent location very close to the subway station. It's a great deal for business travelers who want to explore the city without much hassle, saving time and effort on transportation.
