The guide told us it’s best to arrive 1.5 hours before sunset. why? Because you have to wait in time to queue up for the cable car and walk up and down. When I stood at the observation deck, watching the sun like a giant salted egg yolk slowly “crushing” Seoul’s tall buildings and distant mountains, the feeling of that golden light sprinkling the entire city was a shock. What makes sunsets special here is that you can witness Seoul’s process from warm gold, slowly transforming into a sea of twinkling lights. This double visual feast is definitely the ace of N Seoul Tower!
🚡 Take the cable car up the mountain: The trip itself is scenic
Many people choose to take the Nanshan cable car up the mountain, because the ride is already an attraction in itself. In just a few minutes’ drive, you can overlook the contours of downtown Seoul from above. Especially as dusk approaches, the light passes through the cabin, making the photo particularly feel. Reminder, the last train of the cable car is around 10pm. Remember to reserve time to go down the mountain. Don't miss the last train!
