"The location is a BIG Plus that motivated us to stay there. However, what made it even better was the quality of staff service. It starts when you check-in with the Front Desk, then the bellhop who brought our bags to the room. Thereafter, the next morning it's the cleaning room service staff and the Catalogue's serving staff who bring you the breakfast (just the way you like it!) & the coffee. All of them : always with a smile. These people all wear Hospitality on their shirt sleeves. Definitely returning here for next stay"

Oakwood Makati Avenue Hotels in Makati

Oakwood Makati Avenue

"Overrated hotel. We entered into I'm Hotel and taken to Oakwood. We were met with rules and regulations and told about the fines. Balcony door didn't seal well and had a bicycle lock on it. Do not stay here if you can not leave your leg high to get into the tub that has a telephone shower. It's definitely not a place I will take my elderly parents. Breakfast is limited and is with the guest from the other hotel. Your juice options are only one. All in all, it's a clean place with ridiculous traffic at entrance. High-end accommodation with a water dispenser in the hallway, so don't expect drinking water in the room. Advice bring a water bottle to collect the water."

Fairmont Makati Hotels in Makati

"The ‘Unfairmont’ should be a 4 star hotel: - the worst restaurant buffet I’ve ever had … the chicken korma for example was just chicken in mayonnaise sauce and the rest was dry mean or no meat such as butter chicken curry with zero chicken in it (inattentive staff so remained like this through our dining) . The restaurant area is small so very noisy with chairs back to back so had to say ‘excuse me’ to diners behind me before moving my chat back to get out. ‘Fresh’ juices are from concentrate too. - No seats in the smoking area and signs up with diseases on. Not a place to savour a cigar. - Gym and rooms are than ordinary - Tv in the room too small to watch from the bed - Intolerable banging etc made it impossible to sleep."

Home me Hotel - Makati ★★★
"Booked one week, Had to swap rooms but they wouldn't let me swap on first night even though 1 week in advance I requested not being on the 5th floor because there is a weird nightclub below on the 4th floor that goes on all night and shakes the room, and they put me on the 5th floor. Lying nonchalant ****** said there was no other rooms but there was plent avaible on trip.com. so they li d about that. New room had bedbugs and loads of mosquitos and mites which I had to endure for 5 nights even bought big spray which didn't work.Shower cubicle leaked and turned the bathroom into a dirty cesspit because the drains were blocked and more insects. Little mites everywhere crawling out of the drains, in the shower and dirty walls everywhere and hair on floors .Made me ill and very stressed. Filthy everywhere ,smoke filled corridors . Nonchalant staff that don't care one bit or apologise and some crazy Chinese owner shouting and manhandling his staff in public and watching them quit and nearly collapsing on their feet. while some boss woman asks me weird personal questions about my lovelife and made us feel very uncomfortable. Didn't feel safe at all. Asked them to fix shower cubicle and jacuzzi as only 2 of the 8 waterjets worked and it smelt of eggs when turned on. Surprised noone has legionairres disease from this.and i was lied to as noone came to fix it when they said they would. Everything is poorly installed and maintained. Do not stay here and the rating of this place is a scam by trip. Com plus the new room had a muay Thai gym above so I had to listen to people training everyday and banging . Wow what an experence."

"We love staying here! Pros: breakfast was good and different choices of cuisine. I love the Onsen and room super clean. Cons: the pool is too cold and the bath soap and shampoo is too little. Only one shower in the pool area. But overall we enjoy our stay!"

"Classic filipino hospitality at its best 👌 they were very warm and attentive from the moment we entered the lobby up to when they led us to our room, which looked exactly as how it was on the listing. We booked a grand deluxe room, it was spacious. Wish we were appointed a higher floor room as in the morning, we can hear the traffic outside. Premium bath amenities were a nice touch too. Smooth linens. Good mini bar selection."
