GGuest UserAfter scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one. The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door. The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light. I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing! When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message. On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here! Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

GGuest UserThe room was fantastic, a cozy two-story layout with a balcony! We were able to experience the charm of Confucian culture up close (it's very close to the 'Three孔' scenic area). Our family excitedly discussed the Analects, believing that in such a quiet and harmonious environment, Confucius himself would surely feel our presence. The experience was unparalleled! We also felt the meticulous and thoughtful assistance from Marriott's front desk staff, Xiao Qian and Xiao Hong, who are from the birthplace of Confucianism. They helped me mail documents and even sent back my child's pants that were left behind after we checked out! I'm not sure if 'Marriott' (万豪) derives its '万' from the 'wan ren gong qiang' (万仞宫墙 - ten-thousand-foot palace wall) and its '豪' from the 'hao jie' (豪杰 - heroes) who have bowed down for centuries, but I do know that 'green hair' (绿发 - *possibly a playful or inside reference, hard to translate directly without context, so kept as is*) hides the promise of our family's next spontaneous journey!

After we checked in, she proactively recommended itineraries, local eateries, and transportation options based on our plans. She was also incredibly responsive to all our questions. The hotel also provided complimentary fresh fruit, special Dragon Boat Festival gifts, and even thoughtful late-night snacks. The service far exceeded that of hotels in the same category, making for an excellent experience. 2. **Location** The hotel is located in the heart of Qufu, right next to Ginza Mall, offering easy access to dining and shopping. It's only 1.3 kilometers from the Three Confucius Sites, just a few minutes by taxi, making it very convenient for sightseeing. 3. **Hotel Environment** The overall decor follows a Confucian cultural theme, providing a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The rooms are quiet and tidy, and the garden-style environment is serene and comfortable, ensuring a high quality of rest. 4. **Facilities** The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, and the guest rooms are fully equipped with thoughtful details, maximizing comfort. **Summary** Considering its prime location, excellent facilities, and warm service, this hotel offers great value for money. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and high-end, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, enough to fill you up and satisfy you! One suggestion: the air conditioning wasn't working on the night of our stay. We called housekeeping at 10 PM, but the technician couldn't fix the problem, so we had to sleep with the windows open all night.

They proactively asked about the mattress preference so that the mattress can be adjusted. Suggestions: The tap water in Jinxiang is salty, and people from outside may not be able to use the tap water here to make tea. It is best to provide large bottles of bottled water (such as 1.25 liters). Also, most of the breakfast dishes have chili peppers, so it is recommended to increase the dishes without chili peppers.

The front desk brother is very warm and the service is sincere. When I first checked in, I introduced us to the surrounding environment. The proprietress is very nice and kind. The next morning, my son and I got up late and had breakfast time. I didn't expect the proprietress to leave us meals specially, eat in the stomach, warm in the heart, like 👍👍!
