The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal!
You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience.
The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰
The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth.
It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

This is the most comfortable guesthouse I've ever stayed at in Wuyuan! The architecture is unique, and the interior design is beautiful. The common areas are well-equipped and extensive, featuring an outdoor hot spring, a scenic pool, outdoor BBQ, and camping facilities. There's also a huge lawn and an indoor kids' play area. My favorite part is the large private terrace in the room, offering views of the mountains and fields outside. Breakfast is plentiful, and after eating, it's lovely to take photos and stroll through the fields. We even received a complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in. The owner also sets off fireworks in the evening. The rooms truly show great taste, with ample space, an independent tea room, and a bathtub. We specifically chose this guesthouse when bringing our child to Wunvzhou.

We took advantage of Hangzhou's spring break for an off-peak trip to Wuyuan before the May Day holiday. The prices were very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. It was our first time in Wuyuan, and the guesthouse we picked had a wonderful natural environment with fresh air. We stayed for several days, and the owner was incredibly warm and helpful, plus the place was very clean. There's a lake nearby where we even enjoyed a bamboo raft ride. The kids absolutely loved it!

I finally fulfilled my dream of staying in a century-old ancient house, and the feeling of traveling back in time is just incredible 😭. Originally built during the Yongzheng period, it boasts a genuine 300-year history and was once the residence of a third-rank official. Now, it's a provincial-level historical preservation building in Jiangxi!
The hotel amenities are also comprehensive:
✨Cuisine: Fresh bamboo shoots with cured meat, chopped chili fish head 🐟 — absolutely delicious and perfect with rice.
✨Afternoon Tea: Coffee ☕️, tea, and alcoholic beverages to suit various preferences.
✨Facilities: TV 📺, bathtub 🛁, foot bath桶 (foot spa tub), washing and drying machines, and more – everything you could need.

Guest UserWe had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!

I stayed at Tea Sage Luxury Wilderness Villa, Wunuzhou Resort ([婺女洲度假区茶圣·奢野别墅]) during the last week of March, which was an off-peak period. It turned out to be a great time to visit because the crowds were manageable and the park did not feel too overwhelming.
I would recommend checking in on a Friday or Saturday, as there are usually fireworks on those nights. It is best to confirm the schedule on the resort website before booking.
One of the best parts of staying here is that the hotel booking includes free entrance to the theme park, which offers very good value. There are many things to see and do inside the park, so it is worth planning enough time to explore.
I stayed in the Detached Duplex with Slide Suite. The room was very spacious and clean, and the slide added a fun touch. The villa is also very close to 抱玉塔, where the main performances and fireworks take place. However, this room type does not have a view of the fireworks or shows. Some other room types do offer those views, so it is worth asking the hotel staff at check-in if they can assign you a room with a better view.
The hotel breakfast was decent, with a typical Chinese hotel buffet selection.
My suggestion is to spend the first day focusing on the night shows and performances. On the second day after check-out, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and continue enjoying the theme park, including the games and NPC interactions, before heading to your next destination.

HonghonghuohuohuanghuanghuhuoThis hotel is located right inside the scenic area, which makes coming and going incredibly convenient. There's even a makeup and styling shop on-site, so you can pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever you're tired—it's absolutely fantastic. They also have a huge water park, so remember to bring your swimsuit! The environment and hygiene are both great, and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. I booked a bunk bed for three of us, and my friends all said they slept really comfortably and felt very secure.

Guest UserEverything about the Old Garden Inn rooms was great, but compared to other hotels, they don't help with luggage delivery to the rooms, so you have to carry it back and forth yourself. People with mobility issues should probably avoid the Old Garden Inn, as there are stairs everywhere.
Staying on the first floor was very convenient, and the service was excellent. My travel companion had a fever and we ran out of the four bottles of water in the room. We contacted the front desk, and they promptly sent up four more. A special shout-out to the lovely ladies and gentlemen at the front desk – their service attitude was superb!
Many of the performances in the scenic area were also very dedicated and enjoyable.
Here are a few suggestions:
1. Put vending machines in each hotel. Going to the front desk from the Old Garden Inn and back is enough to break a sweat, and then to find out you can't buy anything because it's closed late at night is quite inconvenient.
2. It would be even better if there was a dedicated service to deliver luggage to the rooms.
3. Also, the washing machine being under maintenance caused inconvenience. I recommend checking beforehand if you plan to use it.
4. The self-service breakfast always felt a bit lacking. There was no bread, and the fruit selection was very simple, only cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and oranges. Basic fruits like watermelon and cantaloupe would be nice, especially since it's not just the Old Garden Inn guests eating there, but also those from Wanjuan.
5. The auction house in the scenic area could start earlier. 8 PM is too late, as many people leave early.
6. The Zhan Tianyou Theater performance ended very abruptly; we didn't even realize it was over. A curtain call for the actors would be great – they are all very dedicated.
7. The last fire pot performance was also very awkward. Inviting a calligrapher to perform calligraphy and then selling their work on the spot? It wasted our time for the fire pot, which was very annoying! Especially for people not interested in calligraphy, this felt like a disappointing attempt at profit. If you want to promote Chinese calligraphy, I suggest creating a separate show, perhaps at Wenchang Pavilion. I think more people willing to buy would be there. Don't try to sell dog meat under the guise of a lamb's head!
8. The square where the iron flower performance takes place is very close to the water and quite dangerous! I recommend installing railings. Also, the small bridge leading to see the fish lanterns needs some lighting; it's really dark and shaky, making it very easy to fall!
