Muscat Hotels with Bars

This has to be one of my favourite hotels I've stayed at and I can see why people rave about this hotel and why it is consistently rated amongst the best in Oman. The staff are 10/10 and deal with every interaction with a smile. They are very knowledgeable and very clear with communications. The room was stunning with a partial sea view. It was very spacious with a bed that you get lost in. The bed was incredible and I dont think I have slept that well in years. The room itself is very quiet so you really do feel like you are alone on an island. The bathroom was done well and the shower head sprays water as if it was soft mist hitting you but with enough force to have a shower. The facilities were also amazing with a private beach that is clean and perfectly situated and you can walk out when the tide is low. There are also a few different levels you can sit on and relax as well as an infinity pool. The gym is well equipped and there are tennis courts outside and squash rooms available along with a steam room and sauna in both the men's and women's areas. There are 3 restaurants here and personally dukes was my favourite with a great selection of food. And each dish is well sized and there was not one miss for me. The Rib-eye steak was a personal standout. Overall this place is amazing and I will 10000% be returning. Thank you to all

Overall, I had a good stay at the hotel. The property is beautiful, the room was comfortable, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were two issues that significantly affected my experience. First, the hotel charged a very large security deposit of approximately AED 1,600 for a two-night stay. This amount was charged to my card without a clear explanation during check-in, and I was not informed in advance about the size of the deposit. As of writing this review, I have still not received the amount back. Better communication and transparency regarding security deposits would be greatly appreciated. Second, the housekeeping service was disappointing, especially on my checkout day. I requested ice cubes three separate times and only received them after approximately 1.5 hours. In general, whenever I requested something, it took a long time to arrive, and I had to repeatedly follow up with the staff. That said, I would like to sincerely thank Carolyn Muimi for her professionalism and support during my checkout process. She took the time to assist me, address my concerns, and promptly send an email to the finance department regarding the refund of the security deposit. Her assistance was greatly appreciated and left a positive impression. While I enjoyed the hotel overall and appreciated the facilities and atmosphere, I believe improvements are needed in guest communication regarding deposits and in the responsiveness of the housekeeping team.

The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. The blackout curtains were a real highlight. Parking is free. The breakfast spread was quite good, and the staff were all very friendly. We stayed for three days. It's very close to both the airport and the mosque. There's a gas station right outside.

I'm a luxury travel advisor who traveled here with my husband and our two children for our holiday. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and conveniently located close to the airport. Because it sits on a public beach, the experience feels less like a private resort and more like a hotel that’s integrated into the local area, which may appeal to travelers looking for something less secluded. Unfortunately, the stay did not live up to the Mandarin Oriental standard we expected, particularly when it came to service and coordination. The concierge experience was a major pain point. We reached out multiple times, both before and during our stay, to help plan activities and experiences in Oman, but emails and calls routinely went unanswered. When responses did come, they were often delayed or incomplete, making it difficult to rely on the concierge for planning. Because we traveled a long way to Oman and were counting on the concierge to help us navigate the destination, this was especially disappointing. We ultimately left feeling like we missed out on fully experiencing Oman due to the lack of communication and follow-through. Additionally, the club lounge, accessible through certain suites, fell short in both food quality and service. Overall communication across the hotel felt inconsistent, and the property appeared understaffed at times. We heard similar feedback from other guests during our stay and did raise these concerns directly with the hotel.

Very good service. I asked for an early check in at 8 AM and was responded in a very proactive way. It was such a relief after a long flight. The service at breakfast was great. The staff even prepared me a fresh made Chinese noodles.

Decent hotel, rooms were big for nothing really cheap and plain decor fake marble tiles room interior was not matching the hotel price or downstairs lobby, for the price of hotel all amenities and mini bar was chargeable also price of breakfast was not worth the money, the dressing table was a joke unusable plugs socket on dressing table, huge construction site outside the hotel only attraction was the 5 star restaurants on site keep your wallets loaded 😉

The Chedi brand never fails to disappoint. And the Muscat experience does it so much justice. And more. The usual “black pool” (2 of them actually), a gym like really really no other. And… the service. All the way up there. There should be more Chedi in the world! Special to Marebel and Anton who made our breakfast just perfect

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended I had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Muscat Hotel from 21st to 23rd January. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and pleasant. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the hotel has a very nice, welcoming scent throughout the lobby and common areas. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the bathroom was spotless. The pool area is great, with different depths (1.1 m and 1.3 m), plus a dedicated kids’ pool around 30 cm, which makes it ideal for families as well. One of the highlights is the direct access to Qurm Beach, which is a big plus. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good buffet selection, and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, a great stay and a classic, reliable 5-star experience in Muscat. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

I really enjoyed staying here. My room was spacious & clean. Great facilities- teas, coffee, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bottled water etc replenished daily. Bed was big and comfy. Great location- 5-10min walk to cafes/restaurants (some local shops next to the car park). I relaxed around the pool everyday in the winter sun. Just what I needed. Staff were friendly. Breakfast -had a huge variety, cereal, cold meats, cheeses, omletes, pastries, etc I would recommend this hotel (&would stay here again). I stayed here from Boxing Day to New year's Eve- they had a decorated an Xmas tree inside & outside the hotel, how fabulous! 😊 Great effort. I ate/drank at the Irish pub, it was nice enough (typical English food lol) I'm a female solo traveller i never felt unsafe here, in fact, I was looked after, from going out in the evenings to catching a Yango. We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Collection in Muscat. From the moment we arrived, the reception team provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. During our stay, we visited Qureshi restaurant, where both the food and service were amazing. A special thanks to Ashwani, who gave us excellent recommendations that made the experience even better. We also dined at Omny restaurant, where the chefs did a fantastic job preparing seafood exactly as per our request. The staff, especially Sonia and Amir, were warm, attentive, and looked after us throughout the meal. We also appreciated the hospitality from the manager, Shiva, which made the experience even more memorable. The only area that could be improved was the breakfast service. Unfortunately, the staff did not seem very engaged or friendly, even though the restaurant was not busy at the time. Aside from breakfast, everything else about our stay—from the reception to the restaurants—was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our time at the Radisson Collection and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you once again ..
