"This Toyoko Inn is really a mixed bag. The good points are that it's very close to the beach and the room rate is cheap. A single room for just over 300 [currency unit] and you can walk to the beach in five minutes. Downstairs, they offer free combs, facial cleanser, makeup remover, and lotion. The downsides are that it's extremely crowded. When I checked in, it was fully booked. The elevators are incredibly slow – there are 4 elevators for 22 floors, and they seem to stop on almost every floor. The breakfast was the worst out of all the Toyoko Inns I've stayed at! There's hardly anything to eat, and it's incredibly noisy because of the crowds. I'd recommend skipping it and finding something to eat outside. The cleanliness wasn't great either; I found a hair on the toilet when I checked in. This time I encountered heavy rain in Busan. Luckily, I didn't spend a fortune on the hotel, otherwise, I'd be heartbroken about paying for a sea view room."

"room was really huge and spacious. supreme location, can see half view of the ocean and right at the beach. decent service. has a kitchenette, wardrobe, fridge, stovetop, etc. beds were comfy enough. not too hard, and pillow is not too soft. what can be improved: - water pressure for the showerhead is quite weak. please change the water pressure to make it higher… - for some reason they keep giving tiny hotels by default and did not provide large bath towels. housekeeping keeps replenishing with ONLY small face towels. had to request from the reception every single time. it was quite puzzling why large bath towels were not automatically provided or replenished. it was a bit hard to find the entrance though… can be confused for seacloud hotel which is another hotel that’s connected to the same building. signage for suncloud hotel is not prominent enough and only in korean. to get to suncloud, u need to go up the building for seacloud, go to 4th floor which is seacloud’s reception, then walk to the other lift to get to 6th floor of the next building for the suncloud reception."

"100-point review: A perfect harbor for my Busan trip, where sea views and warmth coexist! Songdo Beach Hotel City truly felt like a perfect home during my Busan trip, and it absolutely deserves a full five-star rating! Unbeatable Sea View, Love at First Sight The hotel's view is an absolute top-tier experience! The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows in the room act like a giant screen, showcasing the Songdo Marine Cable Car, the azure sea, and the sprawling coastline without obstruction. I loved watching the sunrise from my bed, admiring the sky and the bridge painted red by the sunset in the evening, and then immersing myself in the twinkling lights and neon glow along the coastline at night. What's even better is that it's just a few minutes' walk from the hotel to Songdo Beach, truly realizing the dream of 'sea views from the window, and sand underfoot downstairs.' This close connection with nature was one of the most cherished memories of my trip. Excellent Location, Convenient Travel The convenience of the location was a pleasant surprise! I took a taxi directly from Busan Station and arrived at the hotel smoothly and quickly. The hotel is surrounded by a well-developed bus network, making it incredibly easy to get to major attractions like Nampo-dong, Jagalchi Market, and Taejongdae. The internal layout of the hotel is well-designed, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The room layout was cozy and practical, with new and smart facilities that added a lot of peace of mind and comfort to the entire trip. Feeling at Home, Thanks for Your Efforts What touched me most was the enthusiasm of all the staff. From the front desk's fluent and friendly Chinese greetings and proactive, detailed explanations of attractions, to the polite and meticulous service from the housekeeping staff, and the warm smiles in the restaurant – everyone made me feel like I was being cared for by family. Their professionalism and kindness were the warmest scenery of my journey. Here, I especially want to express my most sincere gratitude as a Chinese guest to the hotel's Chinese staff and all the hard-working employees! Your efforts dispelled all our fatigue from being in a foreign land and made us feel the warmth of home. Thank you for making this Busan trip so complete and wonderful. Songdo Beach Hotel City will definitely be my first choice when I return to Busan!"

"This is my third time staying in Haeundae, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the subway, and the stroll is pleasant with plenty of shops along the way. Both Haeundae Crossroad Station and Jung-dong Station are not far, and public transportation is convenient. The beach is also very close, offering a quiet retreat despite being in a bustling area. The soundproofing is quite good. The room size is just right, and the bedding is comfortable. The water pressure isn't very stable, but the electronic closet is a nice touch. There's daily housekeeping with fresh towels and bottled water provided. The front desk staff are warm and polite, and they can speak some basic Chinese, with English communication being no problem. I booked this hotel specifically for the breakfast service, which is on the 26th floor. For Korea, the breakfast selection is quite extensive. Overall, I had a great experience, and the price was reasonable."

"Facilities: The air conditioning in the room was problematic. It worked fine on the first night, but started turning itself off automatically on the second night. Hotel staff came and told us to use the remote control instead of the panel, which temporarily fixed the issue. However, on the third day, the remote control also started restarting infinitely. Luckily, it wasn't too hot those days, so we didn't really need the AC. Hygiene: The room was cleaned daily, but the bed wasn't re-made. Environment: The hotel's location is excellent, right above Haeundae Market. Everything you need is downstairs, and the beach is just a two-minute walk away. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from Haeundae subway station Exit 3. Walking to the Mipo Station for the Haeundae Blue Line Park Capsule Train takes about 20 minutes along the beach, which doesn't feel too far at all. Service: The front desk has a scale for weighing luggage before you leave, and there's also a microwave if you need to heat up food."

"The room was very clean and the location was excellent, right on the beach. The back exit leads to a slope, which was convenient for luggage and getting a taxi. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby, including the one downstairs. My only two complaints are: First, the bathroom drainage wasn't great, so water easily pooled and spilled over to the sink area, making the floor wet. Second, you can't order takeout. I'm not sure why there's such a rule. If it's about charging a cleaning fee for making the room messy, that's understandable, but not being able to order takeout is a bit strange."

"I was satisfied with cleanliness until the last day when I noticed that my sheets had what seemed like dried blood on them. Location is amazing but that’s also why it’s a popular choice for tourists. Getting an elevator from 8-10am and 6-8ish was rough. But loved the location! Service is average, nothing to complain about but nothing exceptional either which is not a bad thing at all. Pleased with the hotel amenities fitness centre but the room amenities seemed like it was setup with just the bare minimum. Would have been nice to have a larger mirror outside the bathroom or even have a light for the small mirror inside the cabinet. Fridge was very small - could not fit takeout containers without turning them sideways. Shampoo, conditioner and body products all seemed pretty cheaply made. Shampoo didn’t even foam up and conditioner felt no different than hand soap. We’re at a different hotel now and after using their products for one night my hair actually seems healthier than when I was back home."

"The room was decent, and the bathroom was huge, especially with the separate vanity area, which I've never seen before. It's located right on Haeundae Food Street, making dining and shopping super convenient. It's also very close to the beach and the subway station, and you can even catch a partial sea view. Excellent value for money!"

"The sea view is unbeatable, and the convenience is unparalleled. My kids absolutely loved the Baskin & Robbins downstairs – a scoop a day! 😂 And the beach is right downstairs. Many ocean view rooms in other places offer a glimpse of the sea, but you still have to walk quite a bit to reach the beach. What's amazing about this experience is how incredibly close the beach and coastline are – just across a two-lane road and a pedestrian area. There's a BBQ restaurant in the same building, so even on the top floor, you often catch a whiff of barbecue in the hallway. 😅"

"I checked into Songjung Hotel for a weekend tango event. Check-in with my trip.com voucher was seamless. My room was ready early. It is an older hotel, but very roomy, clean, and the ocean view was amazing from the walk-out balcony. The tango event was held in a lovely ballroom at the hotel, so although I could have opted for a more modern hotel, I was very happy that I chose Songjung Hotel. This was my first experience with trip.com. I am happy with the experience. Pictures are from my balcony."
