"We loved our stay at The First Ocean Gwangan! The location was great. We had a good view of Gwangalli Beach and the stunning Gwangan Bridge. It took us less than 10mins to walk from the nearest metro station. There were bus stops and plenty of shops and eateries nearby. The room was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. We really appreciated having a washer in the room. The bathroom was small. Response from staff were fast and helpful. Check in and out were easy. Luggage storage was available for early arrivals. Just follow the instructions given by the staff."

"When I was choosing a hotel, I really wanted a large 1.8-meter bed and a sea view. This hotel perfectly fit the bill. The room was spacious with L-shaped windows offering great sea views. Upon check-in, they provided a box of delicious small pastries. They also provided two capsule coffees daily, one caffeinated and one decaffeinated. On the fourth floor, there's a Starbucks and a convenience store, which is very handy. The infinity pool on the sixth floor, though not large, offers an amazing view. There aren't many hotels that have direct access to the beach and trees right outside, only this one and the one next door. The hotel is very close to Haeundae Beach, within walking distance. You can also walk along the coastline to the APEC House Park. The room cleaning was impeccable every day, and it was quiet at night. The only downside is that the room doors can be a bit noisy, especially when neighboring rooms open their doors at night. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Busan."

"What we like about the hotel: - modern design with the private spa - perfect for kids to play and enjoy with the terrific ocean view - good service from reception in general (helped us to make hotel reservations, responding to our WhatsApp’s etc) - two bathrooms - perfect for families - excellent location - at the core of Haeundae - convenient to go to all locations in the area! Room for improvement: - poor housekeeping - given that we stayed for 6 nights, we needed to remind the hotel to clean specific areas (like hair), adding tea leaves/ cleaning teapots, providing clean towels etc). The cleaning lady even rang the bell multiple times at 10:45am, before our checkout time at 11am:"

"I visited with a close friend and was so satisfied that it exceeded my expectations, so I'm leaving a review ☺️ First of all, as soon as we entered the room, it was clean and well-organized, which made me feel good :) Above all, the ocean view from the terrace was absolutely amazing. It was the best to have a late-night snack while looking at the open sea 👍👍👍👍👍 The location was also perfect for sightseeing. Songdo Beach and Songdo Marine Cable Car were right nearby, so it was great to walk there without any hassle and enjoy ourselves. Although we had a car (free parking for one car per room!!!), if we used public transportation, we could quickly get to Nampo-dong Kkangtong Market, so it was really convenient to travel comfortably by public transportation and buy delicious food for dinner. Even for two men, it wasn't cramped or stuffy at all, and we rested comfortably. I highly recommend it to those looking for an ocean-view accommodation in Songdo or planning to explore nearby tourist attractions! I plan to revisit if I ever come to Songdo again. 🤗🤗🤗"

"room was really huge and spacious. supreme location, can see half view of the ocean and right at the beach. decent service. has a kitchenette, wardrobe, fridge, stovetop, etc. beds were comfy enough. not too hard, and pillow is not too soft. what can be improved: - water pressure for the showerhead is quite weak. please change the water pressure to make it higher… - for some reason they keep giving tiny hotels by default and did not provide large bath towels. housekeeping keeps replenishing with ONLY small face towels. had to request from the reception every single time. it was quite puzzling why large bath towels were not automatically provided or replenished. it was a bit hard to find the entrance though… can be confused for seacloud hotel which is another hotel that’s connected to the same building. signage for suncloud hotel is not prominent enough and only in korean. to get to suncloud, u need to go up the building for seacloud, go to 4th floor which is seacloud’s reception, then walk to the other lift to get to 6th floor of the next building for the suncloud reception."

"We were two adults and one child, three ladies in total, and stayed in a family room with one double bed and one single bed. The room matched the pictures and felt more spacious than expected. We stayed for two nights, and after coming back from our outing on the second day, the room was spotlessly clean. Downstairs, on the ground floor, there's a 24-hour E-Mart convenience store, so you don't even need to go outside. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. The room was newly renovated, and the facilities and furniture were quite good. Toiletries like toothbrushes, shower caps, and slippers were provided. The shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap were all from L'Occitane. The only minor flaw was the limited number of power outlets, and they were a bit loose. Overall, we were very satisfied 👍."

"The room was spotless and spacious, and the location is absolutely fantastic. It's in the same building as Club D Oasis and X the Sky, with direct access to the beach right downstairs. Haeundae Blueline Park is just a 5-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. There are tons of great food options both within the hotel building and within walking distance. You'll find everything from abalone porridge, pork soup with rice, seafood, and sashimi to Korean BBQ, fried chicken, bakeries and coffee shops, and Western restaurants – so many different choices! The Family Lounge offers snacks and drinks all day, and alcoholic beverages in the evening. The pool is absolutely beautiful, and there's also a small kids' play area. The hotel staff were all incredibly attentive and friendly. It was a much better experience than I expected!"

"Booking this apartment hotel was the best decision of our Busan trip. This new apartment hotel, opened in 2026, is definitely worth a try! **Location:** It's right in the heart of Haeundae Walking Street. The building is brand new and can be considered one of the landmarks. It's a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Subway Station and a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Beach. Haeundae Walking Street is right downstairs. **Room:** We chose the two-bedroom ocean view suite this time, and there's only one per floor. The suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for family travel. The toiletries in the bathrooms are very high-end. Disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste need to be brought by guests. The washing machine, kitchen, and microwave are not available for use, and no knives, forks, bowls, or chopsticks are provided; these are only for long-term stays. **Facilities:** This time, I only visited the hotel reception on the third floor, and the lobby is very spacious. On the ground floor of the hotel, there's a 7-Eleven convenience store and a popular cafe and bakery. **Cons:** As a new hotel, there's still a noticeable new-hotel smell, so those sensitive to smells should consider this. **Service:** As an apartment hotel, daily cleaning is not provided. If cleaning is required, advance notice is needed. **In summary,** if your budget allows, definitely go for an ocean-view room. Even if you're on a tighter budget, this place is still highly recommended."

"Checked out of our first hotel and headed to our second hotel, Best Western Haeundae, for the next 3 nights. We thought we’d just leave our luggage first… but surprise! Our room was already ready for check-in around 10:40am. Yay! We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was cleaned daily, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also had a sea view from our balcony, which was perfect! The location is superb — there’s a Subway and 7-Eleven right downstairs, and it’s also very close to Haeundae Beach Station Exit 6, which has a lift. Super convenient, especially when you have luggage! The only small thing for me personally is that I wish the bed was a little softer and the pillows a bit firmer. Haha, but that’s just my personal preference. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. Would definitely consider staying here again!"

"We stayed in a sea-view room in the new building, and it was absolutely stunning. It had a balcony with an unobstructed, panoramic view of the ocean. On a nice day, sitting out there feeling the sea breeze was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's location is also excellent; there are plenty of dining options nearby, and it's within walking distance to Gamagori Station for the Capsule Train. Plus, there's a self-service laundry room about 200 meters away on the second floor."
