Amazing
GGuest UserA excellent location with Exit 6 of subway to avoid stairs and only walk 2 minutes to go to the Hotel. Besides it is easy and nearby many attractions such as BIFF, Jagalchi fish market, Buoyeong Kkangtong market and so forth. Therefore, it is convenient for you dinning out with numerous choices around. The hotel room is spacious, cozy and cleanliness. The reception front desk staff are very polite, sincere and professional. The overall experience is wonderful and fanastic. However, one point that even we only take a shower with extra care and sure not splash water out. The water comes up around the gutter and leaking there so we need to put many towels on the floor to avoid slippery floor.
GGuest UserThis is a great hotel, especially suitable for young people. The decor is thoughtfully designed, and the location is fantastic – right by Haeundae Beach. Step downstairs and you're on the pedestrian street with tons of food options. The hotel's 3rd floor offers printing services, charging stations, luggage storage, and various entertainment and leisure areas. It might be peak season, so the hotel was quite busy. However, the 11 AM check-out time, which seems common in Korean hotels, is a bit hard to accept. I've stayed in many countries where check-out is at 12 PM, and 11 AM feels too rushed.
Ssophieoliver95The hostel was lovely lots of amenities for everyone but, the highlight for the stay was the staff. They were superb!
On my first night I was staying in a private room and I wasn’t too pleased based on the ladder as it was in an odd angle and very challenging to get down. The staff members including Grace, very sympathetic and understanding and helped me move into a cosy cabin during the rest of my stay.
Great price, fantastic service and hospitality. Worth every single penny for staying in Busan.
PpalamnasoThis hotel is located near the intersection of Haeundae Beach and the pedestrian street, with a CU convenience store right downstairs. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to both Haeundae Subway Station and the Mipo Station for the Capsule Train, which is very convenient. However, there can be some noise at night from motorcycle groups downstairs.
The standard twin room, while not large, is very clean. You'll need to bring your own disposable toothbrush, shower cap, soap, comb, etc. However, bathrobes, hangers, and disposable slippers are provided.
The staff are super friendly! They always greet you when you meet them in the elevator, and the front desk offers luggage storage.
AAnonymous UserFirst time staying at this hotel. Went during peak season and arrived quite early. Totally understand that they are full and checkin is only 3pm, it was clearly communicated to us when we arrived way before checkin time. However, I honestly felt there could be more empathy or kindness in their service. We were quite tired from our early flight and already walked around the area for hours to kill time before checkin. However when we tried to ask if there was any possibility of cleaned rooms at 1pm, staff was quite rude in saying “NO”. All they could say was a firm “NO”. They could have said something along the lines of, they can check and if there is any cleaned rooms there can be exceptions or offer to check us in whenever there are available room. I don’t even mind paying to checkin earlier but they refused to do anything except a rude no.
We sat at their lobby to wait for checkin and many others had rude encounters with the front desk staff. However around 2-2:30pm, we saw several people who just arrived and managed to checkin. If they were able to check others who arrived after me in? It does mean that they are able to practice some leniency on the checkin timing if the rooms were ready. Which they have rudely rejected instead of offering. We sat there waiting, my husband even fell asleep in front of them and no staff approached us to give any care or concern.
Other than the service, room was spacious and comfortable. Toilet door was slightly hard to close. Location is great, walking distance to the beach and also right beside the station.
Super disappointing service experience from such a big hotel. Would never return considering the nasty service from such price.
GGuest UserEnvironment: You can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset from the room – a stunning sea-view room! Service: The staff even prepared check-in instructions in Chinese. We checked in late at night, and the staff's service was very prompt and efficient.
IiodinedqI took the KTX from Seoul to Busan Station, and the hotel was just a few hundred meters away. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including an authentic pork soup and rice restaurant and a great BBQ place. There's also a convenience store right downstairs! It's about a 20-minute walk to Lotte Department Store and Jagalchi Market, which is a nice stroll, or you can take the subway. The only downside is that you need to transfer lines to get to Haeundae. The room was quite spacious, and the service was excellent. When I reported noise in my original room, they upgraded me to a family suite for the last night. The harbor view was a bonus – I even got to watch the sunrise over the harbor from my room!
GGuest UserValue for money, excellent location with view of the beach from the room, restaurants and train station a stone throw away. Only thing is the lift which gets busy during the peak hours and needing to change lift on 4th to get to room or ground floor. Other than that, enjoyed our stay!
CCalvin TscIf you are looking for a stay with a view in Busan, Hotel Adela offers some fantastic visual perks, though it comes with a few logistical ”hurdles”—quite literally, if you end up taking the stairs! Here is a detailed breakdown of what to expect.
The Room & Amenities
The first thing you’ll notice is the generous room size. Unlike many cramped city hotels, there is plenty of space to move around.
The View: The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the stunning harbor view. Watching the bridge light up at night is a great way to wind down.
Comfort: The beds are comfortable and provide a good night’s rest.
Condition: While the room is clean, some of the furniture is starting to show its age and feels a bit dated.
Facilities: Basic toiletries, drinking water, tea, and coffee are all provided. Note that the toilet and bathtub are in the same space (not separated).
Climate Control: Be aware that during winter and early spring, the air conditioning is disabled. If the room gets too warm, you’ll need to crack the window to let the crisp Busan air in.
The Elevator Challenge (The Biggest Downside)
The most significant drawback is the elevator situation. The hotel only has three elevators, which is insufficient for a building of this size—especially since it is a popular choice for large tour groups from Taiwan, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
Peak Hours: Between 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, the elevators are perpetually packed.
The Struggle: It can be so challenging to catch a lift that I actually had to walk down the stairs from the 15th floor to the lobby. If you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, this is a major factor to consider.
Dining & Convenience
On-site Eats: There is a Korean Fried Chicken restaurant on the 2nd floor that is definitely worth a try—the taste is quite good!
Convenience: A CU convenience store is located right in the lobby, which is incredibly handy for late-night snacks or essentials.
Breakfast Tip: I recommend skipping the hotel breakfast package. The restaurant is on the 24th floor, meaning you have to wait for the elevator to go up, and then wait again to get back down to the lobby to start your day. You’ll save money and time by eating at one of the many local spots nearby.
Location & Accessibility
The location is a strong point for shoppers and explorers:
Metro: About a 7–8 minute walk to Nampo Station.
Shopping: Very close to Lotte Shopping Mall and the famous Gwangbok-ro Shopping Street.
Note: The building is shared with another hotel (North Harbor Hotel), which contributes to the high foot traffic in the lobby and elevators.
Hotel Adela is a solid choice if you value a spacious room with a beautiful view and want to stay near the Nampo-dong action. However, the elevator delays are a serious test of patience. If you choose to stay here, try to avoid traveling in and out of the hotel during peak tour group hours!
Pack your patience for the lobby wait, and definitely grab some fried chicken on the second floor!
GGuest UserAbsolutely stunning sea view room! The location is fantastic, with plenty of dining options nearby, and it's quite lively at night. It's also not far from the bus stop. Gwangan Bridge is right outside the door. For South Korea, the value for money here is truly exceptional.
