MM15358****A decent five-star hotel. The room was spacious and even had a balcony, perfect for enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. It's located right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere – Cairns itself is quite small, so you can easily walk to most places. A taxi from the airport to the hotel was around 25 AUD.

GGuest UserVery comfortable night sleep, room was clean staff were helpful. Please note the lift is currently under construction so you may need to use the stairs, the stairs are not suitable for children as they have horizontal rails with large gaps. The restraunts buffet looked like it had a decent selection but we did not have it as it was $16each our two and three year olds.

GGuest UserThis is a really nice hotel. You can see the sea right outside the door. The hotel is well-equipped and the swimming pool at night is very beautiful. I especially want to praise the service attitude of the hotel. The staff are all very friendly. Because my friend's birthday was coming and I didn't have time to prepare a cake, they specially provided a cake storage service, which was of great help to us. In addition, they kindly prepared umbrellas for us on rainy days. It's a hotel worth recommending!

Max at the front desk was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. Mila was also wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean, spacious, and brightly lit, with a comfortable layout and a balcony that opened to lovely views. The location couldn’t be better: easy walking distance to major tour departure points, the Esplanade, and many great restaurants. The convenience of a self‑service laundry room was another big plus during our travels. Overall, this hotel delivered comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cairns.

Ssolo travellerEverything about this hotel is exceptional. The only downside was the room that I was given was on the top floor and the noise from either some sort of pump or the outside unit of the air condition was so overwhelming that I couldn't sleep well all night.

GGuest UserBathroom was outdated but room was clean. Balcony very small and curtains let a lot of light through so difficult to sleep in the mornings. Reception staff super helpful with any queries and great location. Fitness centre hasn't really got a lot in there, don't rely on it for a good workout!

GGuest UserI will review from a Japanese perspective. Stayed in early May. Pros - Great location - All the front desk staff are kind - The barbecue set that you can borrow for free includes many types of tongs, oil, salt, and pepper - Soft toilet paper - Many types of coffee and tea are available. There is also milk in the refrigerator - A wide variety of bathroom amenities such as shampoo and moisturizing balm - The bathtub is large. The hot water comes out quickly, so you can fill it up quickly - Drinking water is provided at the front desk, so it was nice that I didn't have to buy it separately The information I wanted was not clearly stated in advance (It would have been even better if the following issues had been resolved, but overall I was very satisfied.) - No pajamas or bathrobes - No microwave - No knives or tableware included in the barbecue set (I bought steak meat, but I didn't have a knife and couldn't bite it) - No spray-type deodorant

GGuest UserUnfortunately the pool was going through some maintenance and we were not able to use it, but the location was 10/10. So close to the esplanade and to all the amenities that Cairns has to offer. The room was okay, basic but it was clean and nice to come back to after a full day exploring we had a family room with access to the terrace which was pretty nice and good for the kids to play in.

CcalifragileThe room facilities are relatively old and the lights are dim. Slippers and toothbrushes are not provided. Shower gel and shampoo are of poor quality. The room was on the first floor and there was noise. It should be the sound of the air conditioner engine or other machinery. The breakfast is simple and does not provide the delicacies of various countries. It only has bread, fruits and some drinks. A separate deposit of 50 AUD is required upon check-in, or 100 AUD in cash.
