Find Condos in Cairns

"Very good accommodation for our family. It was very clean & had everything in the apartment we needed. Would have been perfect if it was slightly closer to the Esplanade for us to easily walk to. The staff were friendly & helpful too."

"This place is perfect for long-term stays or for those renting a car! ♥ I stayed in a room with a kitchen and washing machine because I wanted to cook with local ingredients in Cairns. There's a Coles (supermarket) nearby, so I had no trouble finding food and drinks. The glasses, cups, cutlery, pots, rice cooker, and various cooking utensils were all perfectly stocked. 🤗 Things I brought from Japan for the kitchen: ↓ Chopsticks, plastic spoons, forks Salt, pepper, herb salt Yakiniku sauce Dressing (small convenience store size) Wakame soup (instant) Wasabi Cooking oil Mentsuyu (noodle soup base) Dish soap About 20 small garbage bags for food waste About 20 plastic bags that can hold two 2-liter bottles Alcohol wet wipes (25 sheets) *Can be used for cleaning 🫩 Things I didn't particularly use: ↓ Plastic spoons and forks 🥲 Things I wish I had brought: ↓ Sponge Steel wool Instant miso soup (I had it ready but forgot to bring it 😣) 👙 Regarding the Pool 🌴 There are 3 pools, one of which is heated. Please bring towels from your room. Regarding Trash. There's a trash disposal area near the entrance. No sorting is required, so just put everything in. 🫙🥫🍎🐟️ 🚘️ Regarding Parking 🚙 The rule is to park wherever there's an empty spot. What if there's no space? (lol) It was crowded, but I managed to find a spot. 🧺 Regarding the Washing Machine 👕👖 I brought gel laundry detergent pods. I did laundry twice during my 5-night stay. There wasn't a dedicated place to hang clothes on hangers, but I managed to dry them somehow. There were some drying options, but not enough. I think there were about 12 hangers in the room. At check-in, there was a Japanese staff member at reception, which was a great help. 💆 Reception hours are Mon-Fri 7 AM - 7 PM. I forgot the weekend hours. 😓 *As mentioned above, early check-in is not possible, so for those arriving early in the morning, I recommend staying one night at a hotel that offers early check-in."

"The hotel isn't in the city center; it's located along the main road. Check-in was remote – they sent us a code for the main door and a safe containing our key. The rooms are a bit dated, and the cleanliness isn't top-notch, but overall it's okay. In the bathroom, the shower door was wobbly. Regarding breakfast, the hotel description states that vouchers are only for weekends, but in reality, they're available every day. Perhaps this is just for the winter period, I'm not sure. They provide AUD 20 per person for breakfast at a neighboring building. And let me tell you, that breakfast is divine! It's an à la carte menu, and we tried many things over three days, and everything was delicious. Of course, we paid extra, but it wasn't a huge amount. One day it was AUD 11, another day AUD 15, and for the one in the photo, AUD 24. Water is complimentary, coffee is AUD 6 – so you can definitely stay within budget if you skip the coffee. Also, behind the café building, there's a laundry service where you can wash and dry your clothes. It's AUD 6 per wash or dry. Nearby, there's a 'Night Owl' convenience store that was open when we arrived late, and a pizzeria next to it was also open, so you won't go hungry. The room really could have used a microwave. There was crockery, but we had to wash it in the bathroom sink, and no dish sponges were provided."

"Afternoon, as I'm a regular customer, my stay at your accommodation is very customer caring which is why I feel more comfortable there. It has everything I required, especially when I'm on a FIFO that it can be very tiring for me to drive home to Yarrabah especially when you're sitting in a plane for an hour & a half. So be sure & ready for another booking for another overnight cap with the usual another Sunday overnight stay followed by another 2 night (Friday, Saturday) again, great work Team Balaclava Hotel for making my stay very comfortable, yours sincerely Cornelius."

"Great location, reasonably priced, easy booking, 2 bedroom apartment very spacious for family of 4. Great view! Friendly service, would 100% stay here again 🙂"

"The hotel is right next to the station, it is very convenient to travel, there is a hospital opposite. The facilities here are very complete, especially for the cooking, oil, salt, vinegar and other seasonings, which are very user-friendly."

"The hotel is a half-hour walk from the city center. We live in a double bedroom with a kitchen, which can be easily cooked. The bed in the room is more comfortable and suitable for family and children. The disadvantage is that it is a little distance from the city center and the pier. Far away, the hotel has a small swimming pool, suitable for children, there is no place to eat around."

"Overall good, but a very strong paint smell in the room, there also was a bad smell coming from toilet. There was a large spider on the wall in the bathroom. The balcony was very dirty as if it has never been cleaned. But the customer desk personnel were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Next stay we will book an apartment room instead of single room. But overall it was pleasant apart from the abovementioned."

"The apartment is located at a very good location. All the apartments come with first-line sea view. There are lots of celebrity restaurant nearby. Minutes' walk to the great barrier reef ferry terminal, Lagoon, Night Market. Very spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms, seperate laundry, and a large balcony. We chilled in the balcony with drinks, looking at the ocean. The building comes with 2 pools, spa, and sauna. Good security with intercom and elevator access control. The only downside is the fitting is a bit dated and some ants in the apartment. But it doesn't affect the holiday. I would recommend this place for family holiday."

"There is a sofa bed, it seems that it can also be an extra bed, the kitchen utensils are very uniform, and it is comfortable to cook."
