GGuest UserThe room was spotless, with prompt daily housekeeping. The location was also excellent, very conveniently located. My only complaint was that there seemed to be a bar downstairs, blasting music until the early hours, which was extremely frustrating.

HHarryShopperFirst time staying at a Shangri La. It wasn't terrible. But it wasn't good. Or at least not as good as I expected. Starting with the positives. The location of the hotel is superb in Cairns. Great. Now the negatives. The finishings in the room were not up to the five star standard I'd expect in terms of just general quality. The cupboard door was also broken and hanging off the hinges. The TV was attached to a wall so that you cannot watch it from the bed or the built in seating/sofa. So if you want to watch you have to stand in the middle of the room. Badly designed and a poor experience. Luckily I was only staying a few nights. There was a fire alarm one of the days. Fine. But the housekeeping came at the exact same time as the fire alarm announcement. Wasn't sure if it was the door or the alarm. And resulted in the housekeeper walking in when I had no clothes on! For the money. It's not worth it. You can get better stays on Cairns. I stayed in a cheaper 4 star place which was much nicer and cheaper. Wouldn't stay again. Questioning on staying in the chain elsewhere.

GGuest UserThe room itself was generally acceptable, and the balcony view was fantastic. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We found a thumb-sized blood stain on the bedsheet that hadn't been cleaned. We reported it to the front desk, and they assured us it would be handled and that a manager would contact us directly. But nothing ever came of it. We had to call housekeeping again to have someone come and change the sheets. There was never an explanation or an apology, which made it feel like this kind of thing is commonplace and not worth making a fuss over. But from a guest's perspective, this is not a minor issue; it was extremely unpleasant both psychologically and experientially. Housekeeping also consistently missed things; we had to call for everything from towels to toilet paper! This 'five-star' service was incredibly disappointing. To be fair, we are loyal Pullman customers globally, but it seems only the Pullman Cairns has these shortcomings.

HHennyP.My first room in building C was awful with the view of the opposite hotel. I could literally watch what other people did in their room and they could watch me as well. Also the room condition was so bad with crawling insects so I needed to upgrade the room. The upgraded room was fine with a poolside view and less bugs crawling on the wooden table. I understand there could be little creatures but just too many in the first room. Other than that, their food was delicious and staffs were kind and friendly. My kid loved playing in the pool.

GGuest UserTraveling with kids, we spontaneously decided to stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located with easy access to transportation. The front desk service was excellent, and Hilton's quality really shines through. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

GGuest UserI stayed during my child's spring break. First of all, you should not mistake it for understanding that this is not a hotel, but an apartment. It's a very nice place if you can prepare your own things and buy them as needed. Good access to Cairns shopping centers and major facilities, no problem with rental car parking spaces, the pool is only for guests, so you can use it almost for charter, and you can use the veranda freely. Above all, I liked the owner's friendly greeting and wanted to stay more. We booked from the day before arrival because the flight from Japan was early in the morning, but we were able to tell us how to enter the room in advance by email, so we took a shower and rested and played well from the afternoon I was able to! What I'm glad I brought with me was body soap and soft tissue, and what I wanted was a tephron-processed frying pan? I can't think of anything in particular ... Basically, you can buy anything at the supermarket or the object shop opposite! Have a nice trip!

The room was on the first floor and there was noise. It should be the sound of the air conditioner engine or other machinery. The breakfast is simple and does not provide the delicacies of various countries. It only has bread, fruits and some drinks. A separate deposit of 50 AUD is required upon check-in, or 100 AUD in cash.

李李The only regrettable hotel in Australia and New Zealand. Let me talk about the advantages firstly: it is close to the beach, only a few minutes walk, you can walk, no beach, and the sea water is cloudy. Walk to the city center for about half an hour and there are buses. Besides the disadvantages: the hotel is old, the Wi-Fi signal is often not available, the room is crammed, the kitchen operation table is next to the bed, and you have to be very careful when washing. There was also a striking warning-1,000 fines for triggering a smoke alarm. The swimming pool downstairs was completely unused, with leaves and unknown objects floating in it. The most frustrating thing is that the ants on the wall are all in the tea cup after returning for a while. At night I crawled into my neck! Will not go again.

BBrianThe room here was good but we decided quite quickly to leave as the regular clientele were getting noisier and it was only 4pm.There were a lot of people loitering and apparently they were asked to leave by management. Also had a family member who had booked a room only to be told his room had an issue with the plumbing and it was suggested he sleep in our room, we should have left then in retrospect not 1 1/2 later
