"We’re a travelling family of four. Our kids are 5 and 10 respectively and we all loved Boracay island and enjoyed the stay at Fairways hotel. I chose this place because I wanted safe and secure environment with several pools and a private beach. During our stay we spent time at four different pools and the beach exceeded my every expectation. It was absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed snorkelling right at the beach and exploring marine life at the rocks and a small cave near it. We are truly grateful to the hotel for a free upgrade we received. We enjoyed a two-bedroom family suite with two balconies and two bathrooms. It was really comfortable and everyone in the family had enough space. It’s not just good value for money but it’s way beyond what we expected to get at this price. That being said, I would like to mention several peculiar features which we didn’t enjoy that much. 1. As many travellers, we didn’t like the hotel breakfast at all. The choice and variety of food is poor and the taste is mediocre. Basically we skipped breakfast and went to the White Barn cafe pretty much every day. Thank you, White Barn, your food was really tasty and the service invariably excellent. 2. If you want to go anywhere (including the private beach or some of the pools) outside the main building you have to take a shuttle bus which is fine in general but the road is bumpy and my kids complained a lot about the uncomfortable travel. The distances are short but due to the heat we really didn’t want to walk. 3. The hotel has a strict one keycard per room policy. Personally, I find it irritating because it means more coordination between family members. If someone fell asleep in the room, you have to wake them up or call the staff to open the room. 4. The cleaning policy is a bit odd. They don’t clean the room unless you ask for it. And you have to wait basically the whole day. Every time we had our room cleaned it was quite late in the evening. Once or twice we didn’t get enough towels. Despite several downsides I believe that Fairways was a perfect choice for our family vacation: great value for money, safe and varied environment, good kids-friendly food available, excellent beach and pools. Thank you Fairways Team!"

"Amazing service at this hotel, the staff go above and beyond at every step to help you, and they were extremely polite and friendly the whole stay. The rooms were light and spacious, but I would recommend garden view over the pool view because of a loud fire show that happens poolside every evening at around 8pm. The hotel undersold it's proximity to the beach, it is less than 5 minutes from hotel to the water, and they have a great towel system where you can borrow from the hotel and take it with you. They also have sunbeds on the beach reserved just for hotel guests. The hotel itself has 4 pools, 2 of which are connected to rooms. One pool has the bar attached, and the final pool at the end closest to the beach is quiet (and with less children!) Plenty of sunbeds available with comfortable mats, tables, and umbrellas. The only part of the stay that was underwhelming was the food - the area that the hotel has made for the restaurant is open-air, and so the pastries were crawling with flies every morning. It was also very busy every day due to limited space, and there weren't a lot of options."

Front desk very efficient and friendly. Cosy and comfy rooms. Everything needed around the hotel : cafes , 7/11 , crossing the main road to reach the beach Strategic choice for a good stay in BRC 👍"
