Hotels with Breakfast in Chengjiang

Every detail of the homestay reflects the taste of the store and the online aesthetic, which is amazing! The service was super intimate, and the little girl took the initiative to help us carry the box. Breakfast is awesome! The rice noodles are delicious 😋, and the homemade snacks are really fragrant. The location is in the middle, in Guanglong Town, it is convenient to go to Ruichong Park, Star Fish Cave, Fossil Museum, Sun Bay, and Sakura Valley. I guess the boss is doing art. On May 16, there is Guiyi music playing 🎶 Unfortunately, we are going back to Kunming. Have the opportunity to come to Fuxian Lake and live in his house!

This B&B was a real surprise. The entire staff had the same down-to-earth, village-style simplicity. No one offered me a smiley face or fruit to get me to give them a good review. The experience was so wonderful I couldn't resist sharing it with everyone. We originally booked a bathtub suite, but the host proactively upgraded us to a room above with a lake view. The room was actually quite full during our stay. We then realized the two suites were located in the same courtyard. The 270-square-meter lake view suite had a view of the lake and a small, self-contained hot spring pool. The bathtub suite downstairs also had a nice terrace, but it required walking down one flight of stairs, making it less convenient and the view less impressive. We stayed in the courtyard for two or three more days. In the morning, the host brought breakfast to the courtyard, but you could eat in your room if you wanted. We even encountered a little squirrel in the courtyard. It quietly emerged, only to be startled and hide. In the morning, you could hear roosters crowing and birds chirping, which was quite pleasant considering the 20-degree temperature at Fuxian Lake. The only improvement is that the towels are a bit worn and could be replaced. Besides the towels, everything else was excellent and clean. One other thing to note is... Although this suite has a beautiful view and can accommodate four people, the toilet has no door. If you are a family, you can choose a family terrace room. If you are a second generation and you mind, you can choose a family terrace room. The terrace room can also accommodate three or four people and faces the swimming pool, which is more convenient for children to play in the water.

The room is on the fourth floor, clean and sanitary. The four-piece suit and bath towels are very comfortable. There are two kinds of pillows with moderate hardness and softness. The toiletries are very useful. The room is not big but it has everything it should have. The kettle is clean and easy to use. The disposable slippers are of good quality. There is also a laundry room on the roof for drying. The water flow of the shower is not too strong and I hope it can be improved. I don't like the smart toilet flushing when I sit down. Breakfast is clean and sanitary rice noodles, corn and eggs. There is also a bar downstairs where you can drink coffee and wine. Outside the door is a beautiful lotus pond. The village is very clean and there are many beautiful plants and flowers. It is only a few minutes' walk from the lake. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He provides a lot of help. The recommended restaurants and morning markets are very good. It is convenient to take a taxi, and there are also shared electric motorcycles for rent in the surrounding area. In short, it is a homestay worth coming again.

We are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty! Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

The location of the homestay is quite good. It is almost halfway up the mountain in Xiaowan B&B Village. It is not too far to walk back from Xiaowan Village Committee, and it is not particularly high and has a certain height. You can see the sunset and Fuxian Lake in the distance. The fly in the ointment is that the toilet location is a bit high, the mattress is slightly soft, not suitable for people who like to sleep harder, and the rice noodles and noodles for breakfast are too light. However, the homestay is still very suitable for vacation, will recommend it to friends around you

Great location in a rural village and easy access to the lake for walking or cycling and to the fossil museum. Room was great, large, comfy and good view. Breakfast was terrible, the most basic I've ever had in China. The lady cooking tried to do a good job with limited means. I was also offered a lower floor at check in but in a much smaller room and with no terrace and at a lower price but without any money back but I refused it, definitely wasn't too windy for the upper floor.

The hotel is easy to find, the room facilities are new, clean and hygienic, the tourist area has good scenery, and the hotel can provide parking spaces; The hotel owner was very enthusiastic and gave us a detailed guide to the tour. He provided good service and was humorous. The restaurant downstairs in the hotel is also theirs, and they gave us discounts on meals. The copper pot fish and copper pot stewed rice are good local specialties and worth recommending.

The environment is good, there are also food nearby, the boss will help find a parking space, it is about two kilometers away from Moon Bay. Disadvantages: 1. Check-in is slow, the boss also took photos of the children and ID cards, which made me feel uneasy, afraid that the children's information would be leaked, the boss remembered to delete the photos of my children. 2. There are not many tissues provided, only a small roll in the toilet, and no tissue outside, which is not friendly to friends who don't bring tissues.

The transportation is relatively convenient. It is just a short walk across from Moon Bay and not far from the Fossil Museum. The lady at the front desk is also very welcoming. The room is neat and clean. There is a large window that can see the whole view of Fuxian Lake. It is very beautiful. The bed is also very soft and comfortable. The lighting in the room is very soft. We also rent a car downstairs. It is also convenient for visiting the surrounding scenic spots. .

Very suitable hotel for leisure vacation, the front desk lady has a good service attitude, I can't find the parking lot, she patiently guided me to park, the lake view of the room is simply amazing, the floor-to-ceiling windows are very beautiful and you can see the whole Fuxian Lake (recommend the 180-degree full lake view room), there are many restaurants downstairs, it is very convenient to eat, the Moon Bay scenic area opposite has a Sanya feel, after checking in, ask the hotel for a park card and you can enter the park for free, there is a white sand beach in the park where you can take your children to play in the sand, and take pictures. It is recommended to travel off-peak, the cost performance is really high, this time I stayed in the most cost-effective hotel in Fuxian Lake.
