Hotels with Breakfast in Wenchang

Paid another 100rmb upon check in to upgrade to a twin bed room, which was not available on Trip.com at the time of booking. I liked that the room was rather spacious, and the breakfast had a pretty nice chinese spread. Location of hotel is also very near the railway station. However, one of the beds was very dirty, with stray hairs and other weird threads on it. Couldn't be bothered to get a change of sheets for just a one-night stay, but this was quite unexpected considering how clean the rest of the room was. There are also no convenience stores near the hotel, but this was mitigated by the fact that you can basically call delivery for whatever, whenever, and the hotel robot would bring it up to your room. Another point - there's no hair conditioner provided and the shampoo provided, whilst smelling good might dry out your hair a bit. Service at the front desk was no frills, not particularly welcoming but the breakfast staff were nice and kind. Still a pretty decent one night stay in Wenchang.

Clean & comfortable stay with excellent service and facilities. Great for families. Hotel lobby was cosy with sufficient seats for guests. Rooms size are big and I enjoyed the shower room music the most. This was a challenging trip for me as I brought my aged parents back to Wenchang to visit our relatives. Due to my dad’s age, size and mobility challenges both hotel staff 服务经理陈 and 维修工程师assisted us. Thank you so much. I have recommended this wonderful hotel to my friends and Hainanese relatives. If I do go to Wenchang again文昌麗枫酒店 with be my top choice.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm, patient, and gentle, making the check-in process quick and smooth with no unnecessary waiting – a fantastic first impression. The room itself was clean and tidy, with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. All the room facilities were complete and easy to use, and the spatial layout was well-designed, making the stay feel spacious and not at all cramped. The cleanliness was exceptional; even the corners were spotless, there were no strange odors, and the attention to detail was evident. Throughout my stay, whether it was a small issue or an inquiry, the staff responded promptly and resolved everything efficiently. The service was thoughtful and attentive, which was very reassuring. The hotel's location is also quite convenient, great for getting around and with good amenities nearby, offering excellent value for money. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay; the service, environment, and hygiene were all satisfying. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely prioritize this hotel again when I return to the area, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. It truly deserves five stars!

Short bus ride from Wenchang railway to hotel. Good location, next to river. 7 floors with 1 lift. Laundry has 1 commercial dryer and 1 washer, very efficient. Room n hotel generally clean, tastefully furnished. Our room has balcony facing river. 2 single beds, 2 bedside tables, 2 sofa chairs, 1 desk with chair, 4 pillows, clean and comfortable. Separate bath/toilet, big size, bath & face towels provided, floor towel mat. Std amenities, but paper cups. Disposable room slippers, but no bathroom slippers. Water drainage good. Breakfast little choice, not so good. Better to eat in Lao Ba Cha few doors away. Plenty of parking space. Good location. Nice to do river walk. Night markets about 10 mins walk away. Easy to take buses.

This hotel was perfect for watching the rocket launch in Wenchang! Our butler, Lisa, contacted us beforehand and arranged a fantastic room with an amazing view. The room layout was well-designed, and we even got an upgrade. We had a 180-degree ocean view, taking in the entire Gaolong Bay. The lush coconut groves and soft sandy beach make this a truly great place for a vacation. 5 stars! [Grin]

I chose this hotel for its proximate to Qishui Bay Beach and the price. The buildings are all modern, bright and clean. My room was a delight: spacious and with air-conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. There is a gym with weights and running machines, and a decent laundry room attached to that. Breakfast was fresh and had a reasonable variety. When I visited (May 2025) there were only a couple of restaurants immediately near the hotel, but many family-run eateries are about a 12-minute walk away, towards the town to the west. Special thanks to staff member, Divan, who spoke with me in English and was very helpful. Aside from Divan, all the staff were warm and welcoming.

Conveniently locate and easy access to amenities. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is very dated. Though the bedroom was decently clean, the bathroom was a mess. It had stain marks all over the walls. The groutings in the shower cubicle had mild dew stains and so was the anti-slip bath mat. It is definitely not fit to be used. The foldable wooden windows above the wash basin had rotted and the paint was coming off. Coordination between front office and dining room staff was poor resulting in me being questioned about my eligibility to have breakfast. A moment of embarrassment. However the manager apologised and sent us a complimentary fruit platter and a pot tea.

A very high hotel, right on the seaside of Gaolong Bay in Wenchang, very close to the sea, only a ten-minute walk away. The hotel rooms are very clean, well-lit, spacious and bright, the hotel price is not high, and there is free parking in front of the hotel. The hotel takes 20 minutes to drive from Wenchang city. Fortunately, there is a seaside night market 20 minutes walk from the hotel, where you can buy seafood processing, coconut chicken, and dregs vinegar. The overall environment is suitable for vacation travel.

Aijing International Hotel in Wenchang 2024/02/06-08 Front desk not really helpful. Just want you to go as it was the whole time ”OK, OK...” and ”I'll take you to your room”... But no help with luggage, nor an answer if the kitchen would have something for me to eat... I sent my list of allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, honey and soy) to the hotel's wechat the evening so that they could give it to the kitchen... First room: The fridge was not cold. Bathroom floor wet and entrance floor dirty 😰 The manager came and was friendly and helpful. He helped me with my luggage to another room 8505, which was larger. Here the fridge was also not really making cold and switched off when going out. They couldn't give an extra card for electricity. In the morning the manager showed me the different food at the buffet that I could eat, but I never received the pork etc, he promised the previous evening, for breakfast nor answered my message when I asked if I should wait for it... For breakfast I could eat the fruit and in a steam basket a piece of corn-on-the-cob, sweet potato, yam and taro. They also had corn flakes. Interesting they had 3 milk options: cow milk, soy milk and coconut milk... The second evening I spent an hour on Wechat with reception to find out if the kitchen could prepare something for me with my allergies - I did give it the previous evening.... Then I went for a walk on the beach... When I came back, they hadn't prepared the fish! The manager gave me a coconut with a straw to drink the juice... So I only wasted my time to find out if they could prepare something - I did give them my list in Chinese of what I cannot eat...😰 Luckily I always have some food with me... The fish tanks are outside the dining room so you can choose your fish fresh.... As in most places in China 😊 Swimming pool was empty. Good comfortable beds. Down duvets. Nice spacious room with little balcony, but balcony has a concrete wall, not glass to see through... From the premises you go directly onto the beach! Very nice quiet environment away from the crowds! After the fireworks at 21:00 the outside lights were switched off and then you only hear the sea... If you do not have transport, it is a bit far, but if you want to go and rest for a few days, away from crowds, then this is a good place 😎🤠🌻🏝️🏖️ Thete are charging facilities for electric cars... @

I discovered Haian Jincheng Hotel online, and after seeing numerous positive reviews highlighting its great value for money, I decided to book a standard queen room. The hotel lobby was quite grand, and the front desk staff, Ms. Li, was incredibly warm and welcoming. She enthusiastically recommended the hotel restaurant's specialties, such as poached Wenchang chicken and healthy tofu, and even upgraded me to a deluxe queen room free of charge! The service was truly thoughtful. My room was impeccably clean, and the view from the bay window was stunning. Its location is excellent, being only a little over a hundred meters from Wennan Old Street. The spacious parking lot made coming and going very convenient. The room rates were very affordable, truly living up to its reputation for excellent value for money. I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Wenchang!
