"This hotel was absolutely the right choice. To put it simply, while it's not a new hotel, it's incredibly well-maintained. The lobby is beautiful, and the reception staff are professional and incredibly attentive. They were always helpful, answering all our questions and resolving any issues we encountered during our stay. The rooms are very spacious, and all the amenities are clean and hygienic. The interior decor is well-preserved, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. The floor-toceiling windows offer fantastic views. The rooftop dining room has an amazing view; we ate there two out of three nights. The prices were even better than the local restaurants outside. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – their service was exceptional!"

The dry and wet separation design is very thoughtful, and the mattress is just right – not too soft, not too hard. I had a great night's sleep and felt refreshed. They also have a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient for lazy people like us, haha. The snacks and coffee in the lobby are good too!"

"The hotel was clean and tidy, and the location was super convenient. I really enjoyed the breakfast too. I especially loved the bed – it was so comfortable to sleep in. There was no noise at all, which made for a very pleasant stay. The front desk staff were really friendly and even provided bottled water, small drinks, and snacks. I was satisfied with everything. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time. The tatami room window was frosted, which was fine by me as I just wanted to rest after work. If that's an issue for you, I'd recommend booking a double room instead."

The breakfast is arguably the best among hotels in Guilin; it boasts a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, with authentic freshly made Guilin rice noodles and quick replenishment of fresh items. You can book activities in the lobby, or find a tour operator at any of a number of providers (tip: denote your own activities and the tour operator will book your driver. Very affordable) We took the cheaper rooms which were quite small, but adequate for our short stay. Good value."

"Staying at Lijiang Poyin, the view is definitely the highlight. It's right by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, directly facing the Sun and Moon Pagodas. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the lake and mountains – beautiful green waters and hills during the day, and at night, the pagoda lights reflecting on the lake create an incredible atmosphere. The New Chinese-style room is clean and well-equipped. The rooftop restaurant offers a superb view, and it's within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill and the pedestrian street. Overall, it's nestled by the mountains and water, making it the top choice for scenic accommodation when visiting Guilin. The service was also excellent; when I had a fever and felt cold, the front desk thoughtfully brought me extra blankets and a heater."

"A wonderful hotel! My friend and I were late checking in and arrived late at night. They were waiting for us at the reception, helped us organize an excursion to the rice fields the next day, and did their best to make us enjoy our vacation. I didn't want to leave, the service was so excellent - fresh linen, authentic interiors, a clean shower, and a set of not only slippers, but also all disposable hygiene products. The hotel is located in the historical center, close to the main temples and the embankment, souvenir shops and restaurants. Inside the hotel, there are references to Chinese culture here and there, rice paper and calligraphy, Bonsai, amulet figurines, a fish fountain, and if desired, you can most likely request a tea ceremony in the living room. We only spent two days in Guilin, but we enjoyed the trip from the bottom of our hearts, largely due to the wonderful service of the hotel. an important nuance - but it concerns the whole of China - the staff does not speak English, the translator helped, the language barrier did not bring negativity - the staff were ready to help in everything"
