"The environment is quiet and pleasant, the location is excellent, and the soundproofing in the rooms is good. The service attitude, in particular, was exceptional; they promptly and satisfactorily resolved any minor issues. The breakfast was also very rich and delicious. The Guilin rice noodles at the hotel's breakfast were surprisingly the best I had in Guilin! Plus, having a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea flagship store right next to the hotel is definitely a bonus! 😊"

"Very clean and comfortable budget accommodation in a great location with friendly host who speaks English. Bottled water provided, air conditioning was great, leaky shower but very comfortable bed and pillows. 15 min walk from Guilin Station and 15min walk the Elephant Trunk Hill. I’m very grateful to Cherry for helping me feel welcome my first day in China."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, yet it's surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep! They also arrange parking, which was incredibly convenient as we didn't have to search for a spot ourselves. In the evening, it was super easy to walk to attractions like Shan Lake, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East and West Alley – most were just a pleasant 5-10 minute stroll away. The lobby offered freshly brewed Luo Han Guo tea, and the front desk staff, noticing we had sore throats, even gifted us some upon checkout – so thoughtful! Our room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. While it's not a brand-new hotel, you can tell it's very well-maintained. There's also a self-service laundry room and a restaurant upstairs. The breakfast had a great variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were particularly delicious! Overall, a really good experience!"

"The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip."

"A very satisfying stay! The price was affordable, the facilities were complete, and it was clean and hygienic. The front desk service was warm and welcoming. We could even wash and dry our clothes immediately, which was super convenient for a family trip. The breakfast spread was rich and varied. Most importantly, it was very quiet, and we could enjoy the beautiful scenery of Guilin right from our window. Highly recommended!"

"Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. Staff greeted us with smiles, processed our check-in quickly, and even proactively asked about our needs. When the weather was hot, they thoughtfully prepared fresh fruit (crisp plums) and iced drinks (sour plum juice, lemonade) in the lobby for guests to enjoy at any time. The room was clean and tidy, with dust-free floors and fresh bedding. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was well-equipped (hair dryer, toiletries). The kids absolutely loved the tent and ride-on toy in the room, and there was plenty of space for them to play freely. On the 10th floor, there's a dedicated kids' play area with slides, a ball pit, and a picture book corner, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we were very satisfied."

The front desk service was very warm and friendly, and they even offered complimentary wellness tea, which was a thoughtful touch. "The stay experience far exceeded expectations! The location of the hotel is really great. In the city center, you can walk to Dongxi Alley and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. It is also very close to the two rivers and four lakes and Elephant Trunk Hill. It is especially convenient to go out to visit attractions and find local food, saving the trouble of taking a taxi back and forth. The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are clean and tidy, the layout is simple and comfortable, the bedding is soft, and you can relax and rest after a day of running. The front desk staff is warm and polite, the check-in is efficient and smooth, the demand response is timely, and the service is intimate and thoughtful. The breakfast buffet is rich in variety and you can also eat authentic Guilin rice noodles. The hotel is equipped with a laundry room, and it is very convenient to go out to wash clothes. The surrounding area is full of fireworks, and it is very pleasant to take a walk at night to enjoy the night view of the city. In this location in the city center, the comprehensive price is very high. It is suitable for couples to travel or friends to accompany them. I highly recommend this hotel when I come to Guilin. I will choose here next time."

"This hotel is genuinely great! I started looking at hotels while still on the high-speed train and browsed through many options before being captivated by the beautiful views this one offered. The front desk even called us in advance to ask about our arrival time and thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning for us. After checking in, a staff member helped carry our luggage to the room. On the way, he explained all the hotel's facilities. The sky garden on the seventh floor is absolutely stunning 🤩, and I even caught the sunrise there the next morning, which was truly breathtaking. Watching the Xiaoyao Tower from the sky garden at night is incredibly beautiful. The hotel's gym and laundry room are well-equipped, and the laundry room even has an ironing machine, which is a big plus! The room's interior has a retro-chic decor style, augmented with smart room controls, giving it a simple yet grand feel. The mini-fridge in the room is a nice touch and stocked with complimentary drinks. It's a pity I overslept and missed breakfast. Lastly, I personally found the room to be very quiet! Not as exaggeratedly noisy as some reviews suggested! Next time I'm in Guilin, or if friends visit Guilin, I will definitely recommend the Xinyu Hotel."

"Traveling solo to Guilin, this hotel offered me a wonderful stay experience. The location is superb, within walking distance to all the popular attractions, and it's incredibly convenient for exploring Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and East-West Alley. The room facilities were all in great condition and well-arranged, perfectly suiting the needs of a solo traveler. The cleanliness was impeccable, truly spotless and comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite, patiently answering all my questions about directions. The hotel felt very secure, and the environment was quiet, giving me a strong sense of safety even when staying alone. Right outside the door, you can find all sorts of local snacks, no need to travel far. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything – facilities, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. This is definitely my top choice for solo travel!"
