"The family suite is incredibly spacious, featuring a king-size bed alongside a fun, themed twin bed for kids. They've thought of everything for families: a cute play tent, child-friendly toiletries, and even a stepping stool. The bathroom is clean, odor-free, and has a great wet/dry separation. The mattress is soft, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you don't have to worry about noisy kids disturbing other guests. The hotel's downtown location is perfect! It's just a few minutes' walk to popular spots like Dongxi Alley, Jingjiang Prince City, and Xiaoyao Tower. Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun & Moon Pagodas are only a ten-minute walk away, saving you the hassle and cost of constantly taking taxis. This makes exploring the sights with elderly parents and children incredibly convenient and stress-free. Plus, there are tons of authentic Guilin snacks right downstairs, making dining super easy. The front desk staff are lovely, providing gentle and attentive service. We even received complimentary herbal tea upon check-in. The rooftop observation deck offers breathtaking views – you can oversee the entire ancient city and its unique karst peaks, especially stunning at dusk, perfect for photos! Breakfast includes freshly prepared Guilin rice noodles, which are delicious and authentic; even the kids loved them. We'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to Guilin!"

"Overall, the room was quite good. The guesthouse is a small building with lovely river views. However, the tatami room only offers good views on a clear day, but you can always go up to the rooftop terrace to enjoy them. The overall style is great, and they have a washer and dryer. My only suggestion would be for them to have a separate laundry room. The current placement of the washer and dryer feels out of place and detracts from the otherwise refined and artistic feel of the guesthouse. It gives off the impression that because it's not a 'front-facing' area, they didn't bother to organize or clean it properly. It would be much better if that area was well-maintained and they also provided laundry supplies. The owner was also very kind and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. And the BBQ place nearby is surprisingly delicious, highly recommend it!"

"The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent location, great service, slightly dated facilities but still recommended. 🚩 Location & Transport: Right in the city center on Binjiang Road, within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East-West Alley. There's a bus stop and shared bikes right downstairs. For those driving, there's a free parking lot with charging stations, super convenient. 🛏️ Room Facilities: Got an upgrade to a river view room. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the Li River and Elephant Trunk Hill. However, the 4th-floor view isn't great as it's blocked by large trees on the street, obscuring the river. The room was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding, though the bed was a bit small and the room size was on the smaller side. The decor felt a little traditional. Some outlets didn't have USB ports, so bringing your own charging adapter is recommended. 🍽️ Breakfast: A wide variety of Western pastries. The highlight was the freshly made Guilin rice noodles – both the dry stir-fried and soup versions were delicious. They also had Gongcheng oil tea, desserts, and fruit. 🤝 Service: The front desk staff were warm and professional, proactively upgrading our room and giving us a small gift. Their response time was very quick. 💡 Suggestions: Lower floors facing the street might experience noise, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. During peak season, breakfast can get crowded and require queuing, so dining off-peak is advised. Overall Review: The location and service are impeccable. While the hardware isn't the newest, it's still a reliable choice as an established five-star hotel. Suitable for travelers who prioritize convenience and views."

"Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious. The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos. The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process. My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it. I also tried the hotel spa. The masseuse was quiet throughout but worked hard, and her technique was very good. The most memorable part of our Guilin trip was our stay at Lijiang Courtyard. We felt completely at home. We'll definitely book here again next time!"

"The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The service was excellent; they even called ahead to confirm our check-in time and needs for the next day. The location is superb, right by the lake with direct views of the Sun and Moon Pagodas. It's also very convenient for getting to the pedestrian street. Since my friend had a child with her, the hotel arranged a car to take us to the high-speed rail station and even gave us a souvenir, which was a very thoughtful touch. If I get the chance to visit Guilin again, I will definitely choose to stay here."

"I'm usually not one to write reviews, but I just had to for this place – I'm incredibly satisfied! Everything, from the room to the service to the location, deserves five stars. Even though the room wasn't huge, it was exceptionally clean, minimalist, and fully functional, which was all I needed. Getting around was super convenient; I just rented an e-bike or a shared bike and went wherever I wanted. And then there's the service – oh, the service! What really surprised me was how genuinely enthusiastic *everyone* was. Not just one person, but every single staff member. It honestly felt like coming home. The 7th floor has the restaurant, gym, and laundry room all together, so you don't have to run to different floors. The Guilin rice noodles at breakfast were delicious, and I also tried their local specialty, Youcha (oil tea), which was really tasty! If I get the chance to come to Guilin again, I'll definitely choose this place."
