"Strategically located along the food street and yet we didnt hear any noise from the street level. The hotel lobby is tastefully done up, the room is clean and hygienic, the staff always greet us, very polite and helpful. Theres always tea, cold drinks at the lobby. Really enjoy our stay here. We stay in a 2 single bed room, the toilet and bathing area are separated, however sharing 1 sliding door. This means that at any point in time, only 1 of it will be closed with the sliding door. Its alright for us as we are married couple."

"I'm very particular about hotel cleanliness, and BoYing was absolutely spotless. The room's thoughtful design instantly lifted my mood. The hotel's food was also abundant and delicious; my kids and parents ate until they were stuffed! Most importantly, I have to commend the hotel's front desk and the shuttle bus security guard. Every time we left, the security guard treated us like family, showing meticulous care, never minding getting dirty or tired, and was always very polite. The front desk ladies were always reachable to solve any issues and enthusiastically helped the elderly and children whenever there were inconveniences. This hotel deserves high praise for its environment, gourmet food, and overall humanistic atmosphere. I'll definitely book here again if I have the chance."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Guilin and would highly recommend it to international travelers. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained, and you can really feel the attention to detail throughout the property. What stood out most was the service—staff were attentive, helpful, and went beyond our expectations to meet every need quickly and efficiently. Communication was smooth, even for international guests, which made the entire stay stress-free. A lovely bonus was the Italian-style coffee machine located downstairs, which served excellent coffee and made mornings even better. Overall, a fantastic experience and excellent value. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guilin."

"I'm finally getting around to reviewing this hotel a week after my trip, and I can honestly say, without exaggeration, that it's been the best overall hotel experience I've had in years, haha. Before my trip, I compared many places online and even booked one initially before canceling it. I usually prioritize hotels that have opened within the last three years because their facilities tend to be newer. I had prepared myself for the possibility that the actual place might not live up to the online photos, but I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised upon arrival. From the thoughtful little amenities and drinks prepared by the front desk to the room's decor and the front desk staff and 24-hour butler's warm and patient assistance with all our questions, the entire experience was incredibly comfortable. Our room had a coffee machine that we didn't use, but we certainly made good use of the 75-inch big screen. We didn't watch any sports, but we binged two days' worth of shows, which was very relaxing. Also, the hotel's laundry service exceeded expectations; the clothes I sent for washing came back neatly folded in a bag and even had a faint, pleasant scent. The hotel's restaurant was also excellent; the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and the dining time was generous. Our room came with a voucher for a dish called 'Li River Shrimp,' and we used it for lunch. The dish redeemed with the voucher was, in my opinion, the best, and the other dishes were also delicious. The overall experience was fantastic, with only one minor flaw: the shower drain in our room was a bit slow. However, I didn't report this to the front desk at the time because I was so incredibly satisfied with everything else that this small issue was easily overlooked, haha. "The staff at the hotel was very polite and professional, they even invited drenched members of the public to shelter in the hotel lobby to allow the stormy weather to pass. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast on the top floor was very delicious. Had a good stay at this hotel. I recommend"

"Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious. The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos. The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process. My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it. I also tried the hotel spa. The masseuse was quiet throughout but worked hard, and her technique was very good. The most memorable part of our Guilin trip was our stay at Lijiang Courtyard. We felt completely at home. We'll definitely book here again next time!"

"Great hotel location, very convenient for walking to scenic spots like Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas. The room facilities are complete, clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. The air conditioning works wonderfully. The front desk staff are warm, attentive, and helpful, answering all questions and making us feel right at home. The hotel environment is excellent."

"I'd like to share my experience of staying here, and I highly recommend this guesthouse when visiting Guilin! The overall environment is refreshing and pleasant, offering an excellent stay. The room was incredibly comfortable, with a design and layout that was truly eye-catching. It was fully equipped with disposable amenities, showing attention to detail. The guesthouse's location is great, with accurate navigation, making it very convenient to book rides via Didi (a ride-hailing app). The owner is incredibly kind, warm, and easy-going. Not only is he friendly, but his cooking skills are also outstanding; I can't forget the authentic beer fish he made. The service throughout was meticulous and attentive, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. This guesthouse added many wonderful memories to my trip, and I highly recommend it!"

"Guilin Shangri-La, I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love it!! Is Guilin Shangri-La old? No! While it's a bit older, every single facility is incredibly well-maintained! And the food? Even better! Perhaps my experience is limited, but my 6-year-old and I have traveled to 129 cities, and the variety and taste of the food in Guilin Shangri-La's Horizon Club (executive lounge) are super, super, super abundant!! The breakfast is also fantastic, and the Chinese food at Shang Palace is too!!! We stayed here for three days and ate our way through the entire Shangri-La from top to bottom!! The spa, gym, and pool are all super, super excellent! Big shout-out and praise to Ivan Yang from F&B, Linda Zhang from the Health Club, and Daisy Chen from the Horizon Club!! They were all absolutely, absolutely wonderful!!! Every single staff member is super, super nice!!! I love Guilin Shangri-La!! There are also many animals to see, hahaha, and even peacocks fanning their tails!"

"The environment has an antique charm with a strong traditional Chinese feel. It's right at the entrance of East-West Alley, offering a tranquil escape amidst the bustling area. The dining area provides coffee and tea, and there are even ethnic costumes available to try on, which shows the owner's thoughtfulness. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of East-West Alley, and across from Zhengyang Road Pedestrian Street. There are also small shops to browse within the same complex, and Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas are all within walking distance! Highly recommend."
