Pet friendly Hotels in Guilin

The hotel facilities are brand new, and the surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning. The staff are friendly, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, the food is all tasty and filling. There are even late-night noodles! The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views. On the ground floor, there's a pool and kids' play area, so you can easily spend the whole day here just relaxing without needing to go out. When it's not too sunny, you can snap amazing photos effortlessly. There's a small gate near the pet park; turn right when you exit, and you'll find a path lined with lotus flowers. But don't look around too much right after you step out; walk about twenty or thirty meters first. There's something you shouldn't see, so remember that, remember that, remember that, remember that!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language. Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

Our stay with the kids was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's photography service was a huge bonus. They have a huge 3,000 square meter lawn perfect for picnics, feeding ponies, and alpacas. The massive kids' pool kept our children entertained all day. The rooms are spacious and spotless, equipped with smart home devices throughout. The self-service laundry and dryer facilities are a lifesaver for families with kids. For breakfast, there's a great variety, including freshly made Guilin rice noodles. The concierge even proactively helped us plan our sightseeing routes. It's quiet and not crowded at all, a welcome escape from the busy city.

Checked in on the seventh day of the Chinese New Year. The price was around 400, which was great value for money. As soon as we entered the courtyard, there was an adorable alpaca, and my child was thrilled. The room and environment were both very nice, and the location was excellent. It's right off the main street with plenty of food options. You can rent an electric scooter at the entrance, and if you ride towards the back gate, you'll reach the Yulong River with beautiful scenery. A pleasant stay overall.

It is the second time I stay in this hotel and I love it very much. I returned this time to bring my mother here! The hotel's location is great, by the river and close to nature. There are the waterlily ponds around the hotel and you can hear the delightful little frogs croaking at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful with all requests, and the hotel's interior is clean and beautifully designed. The pool is also very pleasant, as are the many activities offered here, and you can rent a scooter easily for convenient transport around.ation is great, by the river and close to nature. I stayed in a twin room, and overall it was decent. One of the beds was right next to the door, but it wasn't noisy at night. There were quite a few mosquitoes, and even though the hotel provided an electric mosquito repellent, it wasn't very effective, so it's best to bring your own insect repellent. The only downside was the open-plan bathroom, which felt a bit too exposed. You definitely need to close the door when showering, otherwise, it feels like you're going to flood the place. The hotel is right next to the old street downstairs, and they offer meals. Breakfast is free, but other meals are charged. This is my personal experience, for your reference.

I arrived in Guilin from Kunming late after 12 am and there is no tourist information counter staff at the airport to tell me where to wait for the hotel's airport transfer driver. Fortunately an airline check-in counter officer helped me call the hotel to find out where to wait for the driver. Please note wait for the driver next to the police kiosk after leaving Gate 6 of the domestic arrival terminal and crossing the lane. It took me 15 minutes to identify the driver because the driver did not show the placard showing the hotel name Shanshuiyunshang Hotel. The driver was impatiently waiting for a foreign tourist. So I identified myself as a Singaporean looking for the transfer driver of the hotel. He replied that I can follow him, who did not declare the hotel's name. Thank God he brought a group of tourists and me to Shanshuiyunshang Hotel to check-in. I also thank God that the driver escorts me to the Airport Flower Field, which is 569 metres away from the hotel, for plane-spotting, and I walk back to the hotel within 10 minutes to check-out of the hotel for my outgoing trip from Guilin after completing my plane-spotting mission. Other than the hotel airport transfer driver, there is the odour of smoke in the room but I have to bear with it until I leave and I cannot access the hotel wifi by scanning the QR code. The hotel restaurant is very small but dragonfruit is served and the breakfast amount is sufficient to fill my hunger. Shanshuiyunshang Hotel is one of several hotels along the road of Liangjiang Town that has accommodation for tourists but this hotel is the only one in Liangjiang Town to be listed on Trip.com. I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting in Liangjiang Town, the famous airport town of Guangxi.

It was such a pleasant surprise to stay at the ”Linjiang Youxian” B&B by the Li River! You can see the beautiful view of the Li River by opening the window. Wake up to the sound of the river in the morning, and the atmosphere is immediately maximized. The location of the B&B is super convenient. The surrounding attractions can be reached on foot, and you can easily check in at Elephant Trunk Hill and Xingping Ancient Town. You can also cook delicious food with your children, which is a great experience! Breakfast is a highlight. The local specialty rice noodles are fresh and refreshing. It is a great pleasure to find such a warm and worry-free place to stay when traveling with children. I have to give it a five-star rating. I will stay here again next time I come to Guilin!

Given the bustling nature of the county, the price for this accommodation is an excellent value for money. We arrived on a Saturday night and the parking lot was full, so I contacted the hotel staff. They were incredibly helpful, guiding us to park in the county government's courtyard. Seeing my husband and me with two children, they even kindly assisted with our luggage and provided two extra breakfast vouchers. The breakfast included authentic Guilin rice noodles, meat buns, dumplings, and soy milk. We had a very satisfying stay and highly recommend it!
