"Modern and well-located hotel. The bed and mattress were very comfortable, and we slept perfectly. Everything looks new, modern, and clean. The bathroom is a built-in plastic unit with plenty of space, which I think is a very practical solution. The WiFi was excellent with good speed. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Umbrellas are available for rent at the hotel. We were given a hotel promo code for parking, but I would have preferred parking to be included."

"The hotel is in a great location, with the city centre within easy walking distance, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. However, there is definitely room for improvement in the room amenities. When I asked the front desk, I was informed that only a toothbrush and toothpaste were provided. Basic essentials such as a shower cap, toiletries, and room slippers were not available, which was disappointing and below what I would normally expect from a hotel. Adding these simple amenities would greatly improve the overall guest experience."

"I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, close to Temple Meads train station, and it's about a 20-minute walk to the main city attractions. Although the room's interior is simple, it has all the essential amenities, including air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom also comes with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The bed was very comfortable as well. The front desk staff were all very helpful and polite. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

"The hotel was great and the staff were very helpful, but the location is ok as there is not much around the area and you are a bit of a trek from the centre of town & things to do. The lady who checked us in, I believe that she is Scottish, was so helpful and we cannot thank her enough for all that she did for us, she is a credit to the business. The room was comfy and quiet, and the breakfast was great. I would recommend staying here but for us I think we'd rather stay closer to amenities in future, when we revisit Bristol"

"⭐ Amazing Stay at Double Tree by Hilton Bristol City Centre ⭐ I had an incredible experience staying at Double Tree by Hilton. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved waking up to the stunning views from my window. The breakfast was fantastic — a great selection of fresh, delicious options to start the day right. And I have to mention, their cookies are just amazing — freshly baked, perfectly sweet, and absolutely irresistible which you get at the reception when you check in! The location was perfect — close to the city center and train station, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, I highly recommend Double Tree by Hilton Bristol City Centre for anyone visiting Bristol. I can’t wait to come back on my next trip and hope to stay at the same hotel😍!!"

"Following up on my previous review, I'd like to point out a few areas for improvement for future reference. Firstly, the breakfast offerings are still quite uninspired. While this seems to be common across the UK, with a high percentage of Asian guests, perhaps you could consider offering a wider variety of options in the future? After these past few days, I don't think I'll be having a similar breakfast for a long time. Secondly, my elevator experience was very unsatisfactory. For seven out of my eight-day stay, at least one elevator was out of service. I never saw all three elevators working simultaneously. The far-right elevator was even so dark that I had to use a flashlight, which frankly made me feel uneasy. Finally, there's the issue of the in-room drinking water quality! Perhaps you could consider changing your water supplier. After boiling, this water leaves too much limescale and genuinely tastes bad. This forced me to buy bottled mineral water from M&S instead. One point that absolutely deserves a negative rating: Gimi, the front desk attendant during check-out, was not very friendly. My English has deteriorated somewhat over the past year, and when I repeatedly asked her to clarify what she was saying, she looked visibly impatient, which was very unpleasant. Please strengthen your staff's customer service training! Overall, the stay was still pretty good. I hope to see some changes in these areas when I return next year."

"Very bad experience, my handbag was stolen! I and my family had a very bad experience during our stay at your hotel from 9 to 11 August. On 11 August morning, we had the buffet breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. I placed my handbag behind the back of my daughter while I went to get food. When I returned to the table, my daughter informed me that a strange man had come and sat next to her; she said the table was occupied and that man then left. I found this situation highly unusual, especially given that many seats and tables were available. At the same time, I discovered that my handbag, which had been behind my daughter, had disappeared! I noticed that my handbag was stolen by a man. My husband informed the hotel reception immediately and asked whether anyone had seen a stranger sit next to our daughter. We then walked around the hotel and searched for the handbag, but it could not be found. The hotel manager reviewed the CCTV footage and identified two suspects who were not hotel guests; however, the manager noted that there was no CCTV coverage at the restaurant entrance or at the back door, so they could not confirm how the suspects entered or whether they were the individuals who sat next to our daughter. I also questioned why, during buffet breakfast, all attendees should be registered and checked by room number before entering the restaurant, and how a stranger was able to enter and sit next to my daughter without being identified! During our holiday trip, we encountered serious security issues at the hotel, which we found unacceptable: a stranger was able to enter the restaurant without any notification, and there was no CCTV coverage at the entrance or the backdoor. As a result of these failures, we lost our handbag along with our wallets, cash, driving license, car keys, and home keys. We now need to replace all of these items urgently, and we are particularly concerned about the safety of our car and home because the driving license and keys were taken. Our daughter and son are understandably very worried and are afraid to remain in the hotel, given the perceived lack of adequate security. Therefore, we have had to cancel the rest of our itinerary and request that the hotel address these lapses immediately to prevent similar incidents."

"The hotel is conveniently located right in front of the train station and very close to the Red Cliff Church. Be sure to register at the front desk for a parking permit as soon as you park your car in the backyard parking garage, otherwise you'll get a ticket."

"My husband and I stayed for two nights as we were attending my daughter’s wedding. My second daughter and friends also stayed. The location was perfect, the rooms and bed were spacious and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Convenient having a bar on site and great that the kettle was actually by a socket!! 🤣😃I would definitely recommend The Future Inn 😀"
