"Excellent stay in Kumamoto! The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The room was well-maintained and surprisingly spacious, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any questions. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and popular attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, making the overall experience hassle-free. Great value for money and one of the highlights of our trip to Kumamoto. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city."

"The room is new and clean, providing a comfortable stay, though it is a bit crowded for two people. The location is nice, with the shopping streets nearby, having multiple restaurants and convenience store opening till midnight. However, it is quite hard to find a parking lot in the nearby, especially during weekends."

"Fantastic new hotel! We took a 37sm corner room, large for japan standard Breakfast soread is good and delicious. Hotel beds are also the best so.far (for tjis 10days trup Kyushu) location is ver central, food plentiful..only issue we had is carpark (due to the central location and probably due to Golden Week,), no parking anywhere near the hotel and ended up waiting for more than an hr to park at Times parking which cost 3600 yen till next day. Overall, we highly recommend this hote.l"

"Facilities: A very good hotel under Mitsui, the facilities are decent. Although it's a bit old, it's still very good. Hygiene: Very clean, but I mistakenly selected a smoking room, so there was a bit of an odor. Environment: It's very close to Sakuracho, so entertainment and shopping are very convenient. The Kumamon bear at the hotel is really lovely. Service: There was a Chinese-speaking staff member who provided very attentive service throughout and even informed us that there are free drinks on the second floor."

"Right across from the bus station, and super convenient for getting to JR (Japan Railways) by tram – it's a flat 200 yen fare. The hotel's rooftop onsen is a real highlight. The room was tiny but clean. They don't provide toiletries in the room, but you can grab free toothbrushes and combs downstairs. Coffee is available from 6 AM daily, but it's a shame there's no milk. There's a Lawson convenience store just a few steps away, which is really handy."

"Although we have booked a smoker room(no more non smoker room available), we asked for a “smoke-free treatement required” due to my wife’s pregnancy. Checked that box here on trip.com and specifically mentioned on the special request. But to our disappointment, the room still had a lingering smell of smoke. I asked the front desk but they said we could switch rooms for 14700 yen. We understand that there would be no other cheaper rooms available due to golden week, but they could’ve offered to clean the room again or something but they didn’t. We also requested for extra pillows for my pregnant wife on the special request, but non were given. At their price range, we thought we could get more decent treatment. I have stayed on other cheaper hotels with much better treatment. I hope they would do better next time."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, conveniently situated right next to JR Kumamoto Station. Downstairs, you'll find the AMU PLAZA shopping mall, offering a wide array of dining and shopping options. The hotel itself is relatively new, and the rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area and is immaculately clean. The mattress is comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. Plus, there's a hot spring bath on the 9th floor."

"Pros: 1. The hotel is directly opposite Kumamoto Castle, making it very convenient for sightseeing. It's also close to Kumamoto's Kamimachi area. 2. The views are excellent. From the 10th-floor restaurant, you can see Kumamoto Castle, and there's a free self-service beverage machine for unlimited drinks. 3. The room size is generous; a 26-inch suitcase can open completely. The facilities are new and very clean, and the service is good. Cons: The streets are very dark at night, and it's quite a distance to the nearest convenience store."
