"We had a lovely upgrade and the room was spacious with a great view Free water helped with the extreme heat outside, could fill our water bottles from the fidge each day The room was spotless We went to breakfast once, it was good and staff friendly and helpful, food good However, when we went for an evening meal at MU, we were quite disappointed, for a supposedly top restaurant, food was OK nothing special in presentation or content, side salad of lettuce leaves and olive oil dressing? Dessert was good the standard we expected The staff could do with some extra training on attentiveness, wine not poured, I had to ask for the table to cleaned before dessert arrived, we sat for ages before our finished plates were cleared. No table cloths or attractive settings, just as they were for breakfast We had gone to a local restaurant, Cyrano, which was head and shoulders above MU"

"The location is very good! I like. You can visit all the attractions on foot. Highly recommended! The restaurant cafe de paris downstairs is delicious and there are people performing in the square which is very lively. The famous shopping street downstairs is super convenient. Next door is pp LV Hermes and the like~ All in all, it's very convenient, otherwise I wouldn't know where to stay and wouldn't have much choice."

"The hotel is newly built in 2025 so the facilities and environment is really nice. There is also a coffee machine in the lobby which offers free drinks, including coffee, hot chocolate, water etc👍🏻Access to the city centre is also quite convenient, with various transports (free of charge!) nearby. There is also a huge shopping mall nearby for a casual walk. However, the luggage storage issue can be improved. There are lockers for storage, but larger luggage wouldn’t fit. The staff suggested putting them aside behind the door and claimed that it would be fine since there are security cameras, but it is still not safe to just put something personal without a person looking after or a label for collection."

"I stayed at the Mercure, a modern local hotel that’s small to medium in size but full of charm. Our room was on the 4th floor, and it was wonderfully quiet throughout our stay. The bed and mattress were super comfortable, and breakfast hit the spot every morning. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel even nicer. The only little downside was the shower — the water pressure could’ve been stronger. But honestly, that didn’t take away from the experience. We really enjoyed our three nights here, and getting to and from Luxembourg City was a breeze with the bus no. 9."

"Everything about this hotel was satisfying, from its location and cleanliness to the service and amenities. All the staff who greeted us at check-in were incredibly kind and lovely, which made for a wonderful start to our trip in Luxembourg. The room was a bit small, but it felt like a palace compared to the UK hotels we stayed in afterward. I also really enjoyed being able to use Rituals products. When I mentioned that my sister's birthday fell during our stay, they gave her a lovely birthday surprise, which made it a truly memorable experience. 🥰"

"Die Lage ist etwas abseits, der nächste Bus hält etwa 150 m vom Hotel entfernt. Die Zimmer wirken etwas veraltet, und trotz des ”Bitte nicht stören”-Schildes an der Tür klopfen die Reinigungskräfte. Der Duft von chemischen Reinigern ist sehr präsent, und die Betten sind extrem weich, was Geschmackssache ist. Abgesehen davon waren die Zimmer sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt. Die Wellness-Einrichtungen wie Sauna, Schwimmbad und Fitnessraum sind im Vergleich zur Gästezahl recht klein. Das Essen entsprach meiner Meinung nach nicht dem Niveau eines Vier-Sterne-Hotels, ich habe schon bessere Erfahrungen gemacht. Die Mitarbeiter waren jedoch fast alle ausgesprochen freundlich. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel nicht erneut buchen, da mir das Bett zu weich war und das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist"

"Hotel is good situated near city center and parks. Hotel is big but has only restaurant for breakfast and bar and some gold shops as amenities. Breakfast is kinda modest compared to other 4 stars. The building is kinda old and the room had some smell from pipes which required opening windows even it’s cold, room service tried to solve it but it really depends on building. The personnel is friendly, kind and eager to help."
