Luckily, a car was provided for the return trip, which was convenient. I was initially surprised that some amenities were missing, but after messaging the hotel concierge on WhatsApp, they were immediately brought to my room. Thank you."

"Spacious room with a Qibla sign. Clean. The only downside was the bathroom, which only had a single bar of soap. I had to ask for towels. The bathroom fan was so noisy it gave me a headache; my husband had to bang on it to make it a bit quieter. The uncle and auntie at the reception during the day shift were excellent—friendly and very helpful. However, the uncle on the night shift was not friendly at all; he seemed annoyed when I asked for towels. There's a Family Mart and plenty of eateries downstairs, and it's close to Taman Sedia."

"I returned to Century Pines CH after about 5-6 years and I’m pleased to see that the hotel has maintained its charm. Overall, I had a satisfying stay. However got one issue that still hasn’t been addressed is the bathroom shower. The shower curtain is outdated and water easily splashes onto the bathroom floor even when the curtain is fully closed. I strongly recommend replacing it with a glass shower door as this would greatly improve the guest experience. I would also like to commend the bellboys and security staff for always being courteous and welcoming whether assisting with parking or greeting guests at the lobby. A special thanks as well to Ms. / Puan Fara from the restaurant for her warm, attentive, and professional service. She is truly an asset to the hotel. I hope the shower issue will finally be addressed as it's the only aspect that fell short during an otherwise enjoyable stay."

"Stayed here for the Cultra event as it’s conveniently located less than 700m from Padang MDCH, making it easy to walk to the venue. The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms altho one of the rooms did not have air conditioning. The dustbin also didn’t come with a plastic liner, which was a minor inconvenience. A special mention to the receptionist, who was very kind and allowed us a late checkout until 2pm, which we really appreciated after the event. Overall, it was a good stay. Would I come back? Yes. Just don’t expect luxury as it offers good value for a comfortable basic stay close to the event venue."

"I loved this hotel for its excellent location, charming old wooden furniture, and breathtaking views. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from restaurants and food courts, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the room service was reliable and efficient. That said, the building is quite old, and some areas, especially the hallways and bathrooms, could benefit from refurbishment. Unfortunately, my stay was affected by bedbugs in my room. Although the staff responded quickly and offered me a room change immediately, I encountered the same issue in the second room as well. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with a lot of character and a stunning setting. While the older section could use some updating, the hotel does offer a newer wing that guests can upgrade to for an additional charge."

"Overall decent stay at Golden Lodge. The room was itself was clean, bed was okay and clean towels. The bathroom is shared and throughout our stay we noticed it had not been cleaned by staff once (we were there four nights). It is a shower room so we had to wear shoes in the bathroom because there was no bathroom slippers provided. The environment itself is clean due to their no shoes inside policy. Lots of common space both inside and out which was great. 3 cute cats roaming the property. Great walking location near the town of Tanah rata. The staff however were quite unhelpful. They were quite silent and it didn’t seem like they cared about their guests. We were not asked once if we wanted new towels. We booked an extra night to extend and I requested that we stay in the same room (which the receptionist said was no issue the day before). Day of the extension it’s like they forgot that we extended? Even though it was the same receptionist I talked to the day before. They made us pay another sustainability fee (which we paid at the beginning of our stay) to extend one night? It was just a bit of a hassle explaining all of this to them for the receptionist to again be quiet and not say much."

The bed is excellent, and the room has a refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, reliable hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast is very good, but it gets busy after 9:00 a.m., so arriving earlier is better. The internet is fast, although connecting several devices can require a little effort. The balcony offers a beautiful view and fresh mountain air. The location near the golf course is convenient, the restaurant is good, and the terrace on the 15th floor is outstanding. I have not enjoyed such a peaceful and pleasant hotel stay for a long time and would happily return."

"Excellent value for money! The room wasn't huge, but it was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The shower had great water pressure, which was really nice, and the soundproofing was better than expected. For this price point, I'm truly impressed with the quality of the room. Highly recommended for anyone looking for practicality."
