"I stayed here 4 nights before and after the Salkantay trek. The first 4 nights were in a studio room which is very nicely decorated with plants and flowers, the last 4 nights were in a double room with a view of the city. I enjoyed my stay in both. The checkout was very easy, I left the key and bags in my room when I left at 4.30am for the salkantay trek, and when I returned, I was immediately brought to my new room with my bags already inside, which felt really nice after a tiring 5 days. The breakfast was nice, had fresh papaya or orange juice. The location was great as well, just about 5 min walk down to the main square (about 10min up) and the first 2 streets from the main square have police officers around which made me feel safer. Also many cafe and restaurants in the streets around it. I was having diarrhoea and feeling unwell on my last day and was grateful that I could check out later to have a longer rest."

"staffs were super friendly and helpful. stayed there 2 separate nights. one before machu picchu and the other after i return to cusco from machu picchu. rooms were reasonably spacious and well maintained. hot water shower was good. bed was comfy. breakfast was a in my opinion pretty decent and value for money. it starts as early as 5am so u can catch your morning tours after breakfast. they help u store luggage as you embark on your MP trip and return later so u don’t have to book extra night just to keep your luggage in the hotel if u are staying in aguas calientes for a night (u likely cannot bring ur large suitcases up the peru/inca rail). location wise it’s certainly walkable to the plaza. however i can hear noises from outside. i believe it’s the same with most hotels too in anycase."

"My experience at Andean Dreams Hotel was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The highlight was definitely the staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and stress-free. They kindly allowed me to store my large luggage at the hotel while I traveled to Machu Picchu, which was such a huge help and truly appreciated. The cozy atmosphere was made even better by their thoughtful touch of offering tea available all day — perfect for keeping warm after long days exploring the Andes. It felt like a little home away from home. If you want a place with genuine kindness, helpful service, and cozy comforts in a beautiful setting, Andean Dreams is the perfect choice. The breakfast was also good, not lavish, but it had everything I needed."

"Whilst rooms felt tired and probably due a refresh, overall a really nice hotel in a perfect location. "There’s a baby alpaca that works in the courtyard! The hotel is nice and clean and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The only drawback is it’s slightly further from the main square, but it’s not too bad if you enjoy strolling through the city. The location is closer to the more local part of Cusco so the restaurants nearby have more Peruvian fare, highly recommend!"

"This place offers incredible value for money. The beds have really thick mattresses, and while there's no hairdryer, the hot water is consistently excellent. I actually stayed here before Machu Picchu and then returned after, choosing to rebook. When I mistakenly booked for a month later on my second stay, the hotel staff understood and even told me they were worried because they didn't know how to contact me about the booking error. They're very considerate; they even asked if a double bed was okay for us. Although we didn't use it, breakfast is also provided. The owners don't speak much English, but they're incredibly enthusiastic and patient, using translation apps to communicate. Upon our initial arrival in Cusco, they gave us a map and thoroughly explained all the recommended spots. The interior decor is also charming. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Cusco. A huge thank you to the owners for all your hospitality!"
