The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece. Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio."

"not in the centre of Cusco but close enough, 5-10mins to main square. we left our luggage at hotel when we went to Machu Picchu and when we got back was already waiting for us in our reserved room. decent size bed/ room, bath room but small and the fan is cold in winter as it blows directly to the shower/tun. But generally good service. breakfast was also decent, although they seemed understaffed at the restaurant"
