The Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco offers a pleasant stay in Cusco for those traveling for business or leisure. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 1km from San Pedro Station and 6km from Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport. Famous local attractions Cusco Cathedral, MURO DE LAS SIETE CULEBRAS - AMARU CANCHA and Esquina de la Calle Hatunrumiyoc, can all be reached with a short walk. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. When it comes to Cusco hotels, the Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.

"Belmond Monasterio: The Best Hotel in Cusco, Beyond Any Comparison Without exaggeration, Belmond Monasterio is the best hotel in Cusco. Even after trying two other higher-priced Belmond properties and the JW Marriott, I still firmly believe this is the ultimate choice. The beauty of this hotel is beyond words. The elegant public spaces and tranquil gardens create an atmosphere of timeless serenity. The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece. Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio."

"This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. Located in the heart of Cusco, it's incredibly convenient for getting around and finding restaurants. Converted from a monastery over several years, the entire hotel is beautiful and grand, a perfect blend of history and modernity. I was also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite for free. The room was filled with a sense of tranquility, and I slept comfortably at Cusco's high altitude. The breakfast was also plentiful. The only downsides were the slightly noisy air conditioning and the soft pillows, but I still highly recommend this hotel!"

"There’s a baby alpaca that works in the courtyard! The hotel is nice and clean and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The only drawback is it’s slightly further from the main square, but it’s not too bad if you enjoy strolling through the city. The location is closer to the more local part of Cusco so the restaurants nearby have more Peruvian fare, highly recommend!"
