"This place is located in a great location. There are malls just opposite which is great if you do not have plans and just want to hang around. Downstairs, there are various local food places which served good food. The hotel itself is located in k9 apartments, right next to Novotel Hotel. The reception messaged us on Trip.com on the day of our arrival to provide us with information on how to reach the hotel & the address to set in our Didi. As this was our last hotel before returning home, I honestly had alot of Taobao kuai di which the receptionist picked up for me patiently throughout all 3 days of our stay. I could not be more grateful esp when 1 of my package was sent to a place about 1.5km away from the hotel. They would wechat us on a daily basis to confirm if we needed housekeeping or if we needed any amenities. Within the room, there was a play room which my kids absolutely loved. They saw it as their private space and played inside on their own when the adults would busy. There was a washer / dryer located within the room which was so helpful. & a working fridge. We were provided with disposable coverings for the toilet bowl & bathtub and also toothbrush (including children’s toothbrush & bedroom slippers). The staircase to the loft was also safe with handrails and big enough steps to not fall / miss a step. Overall, I would definitely choose this place again if I visited Kunmin again."

"It's an older apartment building. The room and front desk are in separate buildings, so you have to walk a bit to get to your room. The room looked clean, but the toilet, balcony, and sink area definitely show their age. The bed wasn't very comfortable either. If you don't mind these things and are looking for something cheap, it's an alright option."

"This hotel stay far exceeded my expectations! The room was incredibly spacious and airy, with a clean and tidy bathroom featuring a separate wet and dry area. The hairdryer and toiletries were all well-stocked, showing great attention to detail. The overall decor was simple yet cozy; the small table in the sofa area, the swing chair by the window, and the soft, large bed all exuded a relaxing and comfortable vibe. The sunlight filtering through the sheer curtains created a wonderful atmosphere. The TV had excellent picture quality, making it super enjoyable to binge-watch shows from bed. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive, making both check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. Everything was perfect! "As a traveler from Malaysia, I highly recommend this hotel – it's a 5-star experience! It's very clean, beautiful, and the bed is super comfortable. The hot water pressure is great too. I arrived in Kunming late at night and left for Dali early in the morning, so the hotel's location was perfect – very close to Kunming Railway Station, just a 7-9 minute walk. When I arrived late, there were still BBQ skewers available nearby which were cheap and delicious. The breakfast rice noodles were also very tasty."

"I really enjoyed my stay here and it became one of my preferred places in Kunming. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable. Staff were helpful and easy to communicate with. The room itself is spacious and practical, with a fridge, washing machine and balcony area which makes a big difference for longer stays. Location is very convenient near shopping areas and transport links. The bathroom is functional but slightly older, and cleaning is not daily, so that’s worth noting for longer stays. However, overall cleanliness was good. If I were returning to Kunming, I would happily stay here again. Scoring note: Rated using my 10-point system covering cleanliness, sleep, location, value, bathroom, staff, facilities accuracy, Wi-Fi/work, atmosphere, and stay-again factor. "This is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in in Yunnan. The room is large and well-soundproofed. The overall environment is very good. After visiting the scenic spots, you can have tea and chat with friends. The room is also equipped with books. It is really suitable for me who likes to read! The room also has smart voice, which can control curtains, lights, TV, etc. The service attitude of the landlady is very good, thumbs up to her. It felt like home when I lived there. I bought flowers directly from Dounan and went to sleep smelling the flowers. It was so comfortable! There are also a lot of food downstairs, which tastes like grandma's. Yikou Zhaizi is very delicious, and it is very convenient to find food! Highly recommended!"

"We have only good things to say about this hotel. The host and his daughter were wonderfully welcoming to us. Every evening, they offered us fantastic tea tastings, and told us about the Pu Er teas. They also helped us with information about the area, and with excursions. In fact, it was the daughter who drove us to various places, and it felt as if we were out with a friend. The hospitality was truly exceptional. Apart from that, our room was very cosy and roomy, and spotlessly clean. The hotel it located in a quiet and quaint neighbourhood, a bit south of the main town. It is very nice for walks, there are restaurants and convenience stores very close, and also regular buses to the city center. We are impatient to coming back."
