"We stayed at Yulinlin for our final few nights in Kunming and overall had a pleasant experience. The reception team was exceptionally helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Our driver had difficulty locating the entrance upon arrival, and the staff kindly came down to receive us and assist with our luggage. They also went the extra mile by helping us collect our Taobao parcels from nearby lockers when the delivery was not sent directly to the hotel. The location is one of the biggest highlights. It is located right beside Novotel, and we often used the Novotel lobby as our taxi pick-up point. There is a 7-Eleven downstairs, a large shopping mall just across the road, and plenty of food options within walking distance. The MRT station is literally at the doorstep and connects conveniently to the mall, which made getting around especially easy with young children. That said, housekeeping could be improved. Our Level 6 unit was not as clean as we had expected. The floor felt dusty upon arrival, and when we wiped it down ourselves, the cloth came back completely black. We also had to request that staff and cleaners remove their shoes before entering the apartment, which may simply be a difference in local practices and expectations. Despite these minor issues, the excellent location and responsive service made for a comfortable stay, especially for families looking for convenience and easy access to transport, shopping, and dining options."

"The room was really great. I stayed during the May Day holiday, and it looked pretty much exactly like the pictures, very clean. Even though it had just been cleaned when I arrived, there was no strange smell, just a faint floral scent. The room was spacious, with plenty of room to move around, and it even had a washing machine. The front desk staff was fantastic, always very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again; it was a good experience. The only minor downside was that my particular room didn't have air conditioning, but there was a fan, so it was still fine."

"I stayed here twice within one week 😊 and really enjoyed my experience. The hotel is very clean and convenient. The front desk staff provided excellent service and were very responsible. I’d especially like to thank the front desk staff member who was on duty on the 25th. They helped me contact SF Express to arrange shipping my artwork back to my home country. Unfortunately, the shipping cost was very expensive, so I decided not to send it. Even so, the front desk staff were all very patient and helpful throughout the process. If you need anything, you can easily communicate with the staff via WeChat. The hotel is very close to Kunming Railway Station, and there’s a large shopping mall right across the street. Everything was wonderful."

"I really enjoyed my stay here and it became one of my preferred places in Kunming. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable. Staff were helpful and easy to communicate with. The room itself is spacious and practical, with a fridge, washing machine and balcony area which makes a big difference for longer stays. Location is very convenient near shopping areas and transport links. The bathroom is functional but slightly older, and cleaning is not daily, so that’s worth noting for longer stays. However, overall cleanliness was good. If I were returning to Kunming, I would happily stay here again. "My overall experience at the Kunming Lichi Hotel was great. The environment was clean and elegant, with a quiet and comfortable atmosphere that made my stay very relaxing. The staff were attentive and polite, paying great attention to detail. The location is excellent, with very convenient transportation options nearby, making it easy to get anywhere. "This hotel stay far exceeded my expectations! The room was incredibly spacious and airy, with a clean and tidy bathroom featuring a separate wet and dry area. The hairdryer and toiletries were all well-stocked, showing great attention to detail. The overall decor was simple yet cozy; the small table in the sofa area, the swing chair by the window, and the soft, large bed all exuded a relaxing and comfortable vibe. The sunlight filtering through the sheer curtains created a wonderful atmosphere. The TV had excellent picture quality, making it super enjoyable to binge-watch shows from bed. The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive, making both check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. Everything was perfect! The room's soundproofing was also great, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. It definitely offers good value for money, and I wouldn't hesitate to choose this place again on my next visit!"

"Lovely apartment with two bedrooms on a mezzanine floor, a spacious open plan living room/kitchen and a bathroom with separate wet/dry areas. The kitchen had a hot plate, rice cooker and enough crockery and pots to cook properly. Best equipped apartment we have stayed in in China! The apartment is on the building on top of Mingshan bank, enter at the left hand side facing the bank. The only issue that foreigners in particular need to be aware of is that the host will send you self check in details via WeChat to the number you have registered on Trip.com. I don't use wechat on this number and it was difficult to get in contact with the host as the phone numbers listed on Trip.com are not correct. I had to contact Customer Service to find out this info and get a correct number for the host."

"This hotel is truly excellent! The location is superb, right behind the train station, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's incredibly good value for money at this price. Every room has a full-length mirror, perfect for taking photos. The hotel's decor is beautiful and very Instagrammable. The staff are super responsive to messages, and the front desk team, both the guys and girls, were incredibly nice. Thank you all so much; my stay was very satisfying. I really enjoyed staying at your hotel. The view is also great, you can even see the Twin Towers!"

"The hotel is located near a popular restaurant area which gets pretty lively every night. The rooms was great, first floor was the toilet and living room located, on the second floor there were two bedrooms, although one room had more like a mattress on the ground so it’s more like a futon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again in this location, if I should ever visit Kunming again."

"Conveniently located near the high-speed rail station, the front desk is staffed 24/7. If you don't see anyone late at night, they might be sleeping behind the counter. There are plenty of snack shops nearby, and the room was spacious – the biggest I've stayed in so far."
