"First, let me start with a compliment! The service attitude was exceptionally good! Whether it was asking the customer service小姐姐 for two extra quilts because I'm sensitive to cold, or asking the kitchen姐姐 for a plate to wash some fruit, everyone was incredibly willing to help! No one showed any impatience whatsoever. Everyone was genuinely wonderful, like a big, happy family!
Now for the downsides: The secondhand smoke issue is really serious! From the moment you walk in, there are smokers everywhere, and there are ashtrays outside the rooms on the second floor, with people smoking there every day. Of course, I had seen reviews mentioning this before checking in, so I was mentally prepared. Also, the water heater was still quite unstable, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold. I was practically doing a tango in the shower!
Overall, it's great value for money, and I even found a companion. I would still recommend staying at 'Dajiaoshi' if you're traveling alone!"

"Traveling from Pu'er towards Kunming, I originally planned to stay in Yuxi but made a last-minute decision to switch to Kunming. I saw this hotel was very close to the pedestrian street and only had two rooms left, so I booked them. One room was large and one was small; it seems they didn't allocate rooms according to the booking, but I didn't mind since I arrived quite late and didn't bother to investigate further. It's a hotel converted from a clubhouse, located within Jinma Biji Archway, blending seamlessly with the entire area. It feels like the whole district belongs to one owner, and there are many of the owner's collections inside. The architectural layout is very distinctive, with various connecting corridors, large and small rooms – the overall style is distinctly Chinese! Breakfast is custom-made; you select your preferences the night before, and it's freshly prepared at the restaurant the next day. You can even ask for more if it's not enough. Parking in the underground garage and taking the elevator up is also convenient. The cars in the garage are quite unique too, perhaps belonging to the same owner or the hotel owner, haha."

I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing two pillows, one firm and one soft. So many hotels only offer super high pillows, which is torture for those of us who prefer a lower one. Everything is fully automated; you don't have to lift a finger, just let Xiaodu (the smart assistant) handle it all. The water pressure in the shower is incredibly strong – coming back after a long day and having a hot shower was pure bliss. The decor is very modern, and getting around is super convenient. It's close to the subway station and there's a Wanda Plaza nearby. If you're traveling alone, I recommend the smallest room; especially for solo female travelers, the compact space feels very secure. I slept like a baby, so comfortable! I'll definitely be back!"

"This was my first time in Kunming, and I initially booked the wrong dates for another hotel, but everything happens for a reason, and it led me to book this place. The area outside is very quiet, feels like a pedestrian street, which is lovely. Inside, it's also beautiful. It's only my first day checking in, and I couldn't wait to post a review!
The service is excellent too. As soon as I walked in, a lobby attendant helped me with my luggage. The hotel only has three floors, and even though there's no elevator, the attendant helped carry my bags upstairs. My luggage was really heavy, so I truly appreciate his effort. The front desk ladies were also wonderful and very patient.
The laundry service is convenient: you just put your clothes in a bag, leave it by your door, and the staff will wash, dry, and return them to your room.
They also offer breakfast, afternoon tea, and a goodnight dessert. You need to pre-select your breakfast the day before – I'll try it tomorrow. But the afternoon tea and goodnight dessert were truly delicious! Even though I booked this place last minute, I was genuinely impressed."

LLi dmThis is a really great hotel. Although it's not very big, the service, facilities, and attention to detail are all excellent. The staff are also incredibly welcoming and always greet you when they see you. They offer laundry service, and the breakfast is pretty good – it has everything you'd expect. The amenities are also high-quality, and they even gave us a small souvenir upon checkout. The room was quiet too. The quality control of the facilities is top-notch! We also had a dedicated butler for our check-in! If I ever come back to Kunming, I would definitely choose to stay here again and would recommend it to friends! Just a small suggestion: if they could add more welcome fruits and evening milk service, it would be absolutely perfect! This is just a sincere suggestion based on my previous hotel experiences. Finally, I wish the staff all the best in their work and good health! And I wish the owner a prosperous business and abundant wealth!

胡胡姑娘We had a really wonderful experience. My family and I, a total of five people, booked a deluxe business smart suite room, which has three bedrooms. The hotel was new and clean. The location was nice, with a shopping mall, food stalls, and bus stop nearby. The decoration in the room was really nice and the room was spacious. Although it said that the room was smoking permitted, the room doesn't smell at all. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
