"This was my first stay at an Atour hotel, and it was a very comfortable experience. The staff at the front desk were all enthusiastic and polite. They even gave us small gifts during both check-in and check-out, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The room itself was spotless, the bedding was conducive to a good night's sleep, and the breakfast spread was quite generous. Any small requests we had were promptly fulfilled by the front desk. The hotel's location is excellent, right outside Nanping Old Walking Street and not far from the main attractions around Cuihu Lake. Overall, I'd give it a big thumbs up!"

"We got upgraded to suite with one bedroom for free! Could never imagine we will get this experience. The room was so big and comfortable for family with toddler. My kid was happily running around here and there playing with her toys because of the huge space.
The location was nearby Shuncheng Street where we can access the halal foods and also very nearby to the famous Nanping Pedestrian Street.

"I arrived quite late, and the hotel proactively upgraded my room, so a big thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk – I forgot to ask her name! The location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere. The security guard at the entrance was also very friendly, recommending local specialty restaurants and always greeting us warmly, which was a nice touch. I do suggest improving the breakfast service a bit. On holidays, it gets crowded, and we had to sit in the outer bar area, which meant walking a long way every time to get food. On the second day, I asked for a large mug, but they said none were clean yet, only small ones. Having to keep refilling a tiny cup for coffee by walking back and forth several times was quite tiring…"

"I really love Cuihu Lake, so I always try to stay near it when I'm in town. Last month, I stayed at the Grand Park Hotel, but the room felt too small and the breakfast was just okay, so this time I decided to try the Grand Hyatt. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would choose to stay here again on my next visit. Here's why: First, the breakfast was delicious and perfectly suited my taste. The rice noodle and Ersi (a local noodle dish) station was extensive, with a wide variety of condiments, and the flavor was just as good as what you'd find at a dedicated rice noodle shop. They also offered fruit and vegetable juices like kale juice, a great selection of toppings for vegetable salads, tasty homemade yogurt, freshly made French toast, and a high-quality assortment of breads and pastries. The American coffee was decent, and the milk was rich. Overall, I really appreciate this kind of refined breakfast – not an overwhelming number of options that lack appeal, nor a crowded and noisy environment. Second, the service was excellent. Any issues were resolved promptly, and the staff were very friendly. Third, the location is fantastic; you can visit Cuihu Lake whenever you like. Regarding the online comments about the rooms not being new, I think this hotel offers great value for money. Plus, fully smart rooms aren't always more convenient; there's a certain charm to a slightly older place."

🛏️ The bedding was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the smart assistant ('Xiao Du') was handy. The huge floor-to-ceiling window offered a good view of the mountains, and it was very quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep.
[Thumb up] The attention to detail was impressive! With the 'Xiao Du' smart assistant, I could call the front desk, adjust the AC, and control the lights with a single command. There were also various safety tips in the room, and the WiFi password actually made me smile.
🚻 The bathroom was large and even had an emergency call button – very thoughtful.
🖐🏻️ They even provided body lotion, and it was a good brand (Chando).
The best part is how affordable it was! For 168 yuan, it included breakfast, a king-size bed, and airport transfer services. Incredible value for money! 👍🏻

We didn't choose a street-facing room, so it was very quiet. A really great stay!

I found it quite comfortable; I adapted to it pretty well, and I thought the sleep quality at night was decent. The shower and sanitation facilities were all very convenient. Right outside, there's a snack street, so you don't have to worry about breakfast, and there are many convenience stores nearby, plus a large shopping mall. All kinds of good food to meet your needs.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.

PPsymondDespite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note:
1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival.
2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room.
3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised.
We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.
