✨ A hidden gem in Taizhou: Fuchen Yin 府城隐 What makes this hotel truly special is its incredible story — a beautiful transformation from an old 财神庙 (temple of the God of Wealth, so yes… extra good fortune vibes 😉) and a historic printing factory into a serene luxury retreat. Tucked away in a quiet residential alley and accessible by buggy, the hotel feels like a secret escape from the busy world. The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of calm. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with generous spaces to unwind, relax, and simply enjoy the moment. My favourite corners? The library, where I spent time getting lost among the books, and the piano area, where I happily played a few tunes. These little details made the stay feel more like a home away from home rather than just a hotel. The breakfast was an absolute highlight — a celebration of Taizhou’s local flavours. I loved discovering so many regional specialties: 🍵 青草糊 — a refreshing grass jelly dessert with a wonderful touch of peppermint that made it even more refreshing 🍜 姜汤面 and 芋头面 — comforting local noodle dishes 🍰 三色糕 🍚 乌饭麻糍 (with red bean filling) 🥟 扁食 …and so many more delicious local treats that I wish I had a bigger stomach! They even helped me buy the famous 海苔饼 — the whole reason I came to Taizhou — and it arrived piping hot. Truly the kind of thoughtful service that makes a trip memorable. The hotel facilities are exceptional. From the beautifully designed spaces to the thoughtful amenities, everything has been carefully considered. The bed deserves a special mention — probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. They also provide turndown service, luxurious toiletries, and a complimentary minibar (which, by the way, included local rice wine 🍶 — just saying 😉). A huge thank you to every member of the Fuchen Yin team for making my stay so warm and memorable. The combination of history, design, local culture, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality makes this one of the most unique stays I’ve experienced. Definitely a place I would love to return to. 🤍

Cleanliness: The hotel was incredibly clean, I barely saw any dust and there were no strange odors. The soundproofing was also excellent; even with a full house, I couldn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. Facilities: They offer breakfast and a chess/card room. On the first floor, there's a vending machine and portable chargers available. The hotel is quite close to all the attractions, and the price is very reasonable, making it excellent value for money. The rooms are also very spacious. On the first floor, they have a blackboard recommending good local restaurants. Intime Department Store is just about a kilometer away, which is very convenient, and there are many convenience stores and tobacco shops nearby. Overall, my experience was fantastic!

This hotel is really great, the environment is nice and it's very clean. It has a laundry room and a gym, and the bed is very comfortable, I slept very well.

The room was clean, quiet, and really comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful too. The breakfast had lots of variety, and they even offered afternoon tea and supper, which was pretty tasty. The location is great — lots of food places nearby, and it’s easy to grab a Didi to the scenic spots. Definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting the city!

The hotel's location is fantastic, making it super convenient for getting around, dining, and sightseeing. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

It is very close to Ziyang Street, parking is very convenient, there are many parking spaces in the underground garage, you only need to add the hotel's corporate WeChat to get out for free. The sanitation is very clean, the stay is very comfortable, the front desk service is also very good, and the hotel also gave souvenirs when checking in, which is a great experience. The environment is not bad, it is very close to Ziyang Street and East Lake, and there is also a seafood street on Renmin Road next to it, with many choices and the taste is also good.

The hotel is split into two buildings, so make sure you use the right elevator to get to your room. The rooftop garden is quite nice, and the breakfast spread is pretty extensive. The staff in the breakfast area are very warm and helpful; the front desk staff could really learn from them – a simple greeting goes a long way. There's a bike rental station nearby, and it's not far from Renmin Road.

Linhai in early April was absolutely beautiful! Over the holiday, I experienced both glorious sunshine and the misty, rainy charm of Jiangnan, taking in a variety of captivating sights. The New Century Mingting Hotel is perfectly situated between Ziyang Street and Donghu Lake, with both just about 500 meters away, so I walked everywhere during my entire stay. There were also diverse dining options; I checked out Rong Xiaoguan and a local old-style restaurant. The hotel was clean and the service was warm. When it started to drizzle on my way to Donghu Lake, the concierge even offered an umbrella! 🌂

The stay was absolutely worth the money spent. The hotel is very clean, in a quiet peaceful place with a very beautiful view. The staff is very respectful, helpful and communicative. It’s a good hotel if you want to stay for business, relaxation, time alone or time with a loved one. We definitely will be going back for another stay and would absolutely recommend. Worth your time and money
