The Manes Boutique Hotel Prague

Beautiful, clean, friendly hotel which was perfect for our stay. I used this as a base for the Generali Prague Half Marathon 2026. Ideal location away from tourist traps. More authentic foodies and attractions close by. Down the road is the river and the dancing building. The number 17 tram is very handy to commute up and down the city. Very helpful staff with tasty treats. Food is excellent. Give the breakfast buffet a go! Dinner next door is fantastic. Complimentary drinks including coffee, beer and prosecco. The best member of staff, Olga, is a bunden of joy, kindness and very helpful. Keep an eye out for her. She is a star. Highly recommended spot to stay. Great value for money and the room is superb.

The service was great! On my last day, they were so kind to switch me to a higher floor, no questions asked. The facilities are brand new, so there's a slight, but noticeable, smell of renovation. They even have Xiaomi scales and hairdryers, which made me feel right at home, like I was back in China.

We had a great stay at Grand Hotel Prague Towers. The service was phenomenal from start to finish, and the rooms were very well cleaned every day, which really stood out. Food and drinks at the hotel are a bit more expensive compared to prices in the city, but the convenience and wide selection make it worthwhile, especially after a long day. The elevators are fast, so staying on a higher floor is no issue at all. The room was spacious, with large comfortable beds and a bathtub, which was a nice bonus. If you stay higher up, the views are open and very enjoyable. The spa located at the top of the building is a highlight, and having access to Thai massage on site is a big plus. There is also a gym with modern equipment. It is not very large, but more than enough to stay active during a trip. Parking is plentiful at the hotel and included, which is a big advantage. There is also a metro station right outside the hotel, making it very easy and quick to get into the city center. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, a high-quality hotel with great comfort, service, and facilities. I would happily stay here again.

Grand Hotel International - Czech Leading Hotels

A lovely hotel, not too far from the city centre. Though it appears a little ”out of the way” on the map, it is supported by a tram stop right outside of the hotel building and also a train station a little walk away, that I'm told can take you to the city's central station in just 8 mins. If you plan to visit the university or the castle in particular, this is the place to stay! The hotel itself is very nice, with an excellent buffet breakfast and large spacious rooms. The hotel staff are very accommodating and speak multiple languages well. It can be a little confusing to find your way around the hotel as it features several wings: iIf you get lost trying to find the elevators, please ask the hotel staff to help direct you. Regarding extra facilities: the hotel also serves a gym (access requires an additional cost of around 150czk per admission), multiple bars and places to eat, in addition to a Thai massage service if your muscles ache. There is also a late check out service offered by the hotel, however, their ability to accommodate late check out requests depends on availability, so please enquire late in the evening or early on your day of departure. In the hotel's guest directory, it says this services is offered up to 3pm at a cost of 500czk, however, I was able to get a check out scheduled for 1pm at no additional cost. As a result, it is difficult to know whether this rule still applies - please double check with the reception staff. I hope you

Don Giovanni Hotel Prague - Great Hotels of the World

Lovely hotel that takes its name from Mozart’s first opera, Don Giovanni. It is conveniently located just 10 minutes outside of Prague city centre, boasting excellent transport links with both tram and underground stations within a few minutes' walk. The hotel offers a fantastic range of amenities, including two restaurants. The cuisine is lovely, offering a variety of traditional Czech dishes (such as pork dumplings) alongside international staples like pasta and burgers. The desserts are a highlight - don't miss their specially curated ”Czech Inn” cake. For entertainment, there is a games room and even a giant chessboard! The entrance is truly grand, featuring a dedicated ”selfie area” where you can capture the opulent staircase and a bust of Mozart. The hotel also pays homage to the beloved director Miloš Forman; you'll find several pictures from his Oscar-winning film, Amadeus, adorning the corridors. To maintain the classical theme, a live pianist plays throughout most of the day, including during breakfast. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous, with a wide array of hot and cold options and delicious pastries (the vanilla custard croissant is a must-try). It does get quite busy, however, so it is best to go early (around 7:00am) or slightly later (just after 10:00am). For those interested in history, the hotel is located near the New Jewish Cemetery, where you can visit Franz Kafka’s grave. Overall, a lovely stay for the Easter break!

Hotel Roma Prague

AUM. So
Came here with a party of 3 people during a family trip to Prague. The hotel is located in a convenient location, within Lesser Town. Some of the landmarks, coin laundry and popular restaurants are within 15 minutes walk and there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel. There isn't much free amenities within the hotel, other than the bar and some paid services. Staff was generally friendly in person, but wasn't too clear on the phone. For example when we requested for an iron, it wasn't clear whether there was one available and they hung up the phone promptly. The room also felt a bit dated (and had a small spider and cobwebs in the ceiling), the dark furniture and painting (part of the decor), also didn't help. The house keeping though, seemed professional and will always knock before coming in and generally refilled the consumables. The layout of the room though, was a bit weird and the bathroom was way too big, with only a small area to shower. The tiles also get wet, as the foldable glass extension doesn't seal properly. It wasn't practical. Overall though, it was okay, mainly because of the convenience.

This hotel has that classic 'old money' vibe, much like the Grand Budapest Hotel with its symmetrical architecture. It's massive, feels like hundreds of rooms. The downside is the 'square with an open center' layout, which meant our room was incredibly far from the elevator – it felt like a five-minute walk just to get there from our door. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the omelets were particularly good. The person in charge at the breakfast entrance seemed to be training an intern. When we were checking out, we were rushing to catch a train, so we brought our luggage directly to breakfast from our room. At first, the restaurant manager suggested we check our bags at the front desk. I explained we were very short on time, and he handled it expertly in front of the intern. He had the intern seat us in a spot that wouldn't obstruct other guests – that was really good. However, the hotel slippers were terrible; they were so flimsy they tore after just one day. They felt incredibly cheap and completely out of line with the Hilton brand. Overall, the hotel feels very solid and reliable, with excellent basic amenities. It's grand and a good choice for a trip.

Fairly basic hotel with slightly outdated room interior but reasonable price for the room size (and for Prague) plus very friendly staff. 15-20 mins walk to old town.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Review Title: Mishandled Room Request and Refund Refused We booked 4 nights at Occidental Praha Five but checked out one night early due to repeated service failures — despite this, we tried to be reasonable, as we are just travelers trying to enjoy our trip, not cause trouble. Our clear request for two single beds was ignored. We were given a queen bed, then moved — again to a queen. A blanket was handed to us so we could “make do.” The next day, nothing was fixed. After calling reception and waiting 40 minutes, a non-English-speaking cleaner came, confused, and simply threw another blanket on the bed. That was it. Only after Trip.com intervened did the hotel send us a fruit plate and a bottle of wine — which we did not drink and in fact returned to the reception, because we weren’t looking for superficial gestures — we just wanted the room we booked. We checked out on Sunday and requested a refund for the unused fourth night. We were told it needed approval from higher management. On Monday, we were shocked to hear the refund was refused, based on the false claim that we never checked out — despite having paid the tourism tax and received an invoice. We were also wrongly accused of drinking minibar water, which we clearly explained was untouched. This refund is for a night we did not use, and under basic consumer rights, we are entitled to it. The hotel’s disorganization and refusal to take responsibility made a simple issue unnecessarily stressful. I do not recommend this hotel.
