Amazing
GGuest UserPros: 1. **Convenient Location**: The hostel is close to the castle, making it very easy to explore the old town. 2. **Great Dining Options**: There's a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Breakfast is à la carte and very reasonably priced; the croissant and coffee I ordered were delicious. In the evenings, it transforms into a bar with a really relaxed and cozy atmosphere in the common area. 3. **Excellent Service**: One morning, I needed to use the restroom early and happened upon a staff member cleaning. After I knocked and he agreed to let me in, he thoughtfully offered to come back later to ensure I felt comfortable and secure. The staff, all young and pleasant (both handsome guys and pretty girls), were very patient during check-in and when taking food orders. 4. **Cleanliness**: Both the room and bathroom were quite clean. 5. **Comfortable Dorm Beds**: The sleeping area had privacy curtains, ample space, and a very sturdy ladder to the top bunk that didn't disturb others. Cons: 1. **Challenging Walk from Station**: Although the walking distance from the station to the hostel is short, there's a rather steep and high staircase. This would be very inconvenient if you have luggage. Luckily, a very polite and gentlemanly couple helped me out. 2. **Poor Signage**: Upon arrival, the signage for the hostel entrance was unclear, and I found myself wandering between the hotel and restaurant, unsure of where to go. Overall: I highly recommend this hostel! 👏

GGuest UserThe Loft is really central in the city and the beds were comfortable. We traveled with 4 people and had the whole room for us. The best part is the cooperation with The Court and that you can participate in the activities there, as well as store your bags on the day of the checkout.

AAnonymous UserIt was 850meter walk upon arrival at Edinburgh Waverley train station. Through slopes, stairs and uneven roads. Heavy luhgage is strongly not recommended. Fast check in and check out. Great amenities with clean kitchen full with amenities. Toilet a bit small and could be dirty at times. No lifts so have to carry luggage all the way up to 3rs floor. Beds are comfy and clean. As it's bunk bed, so it could be quite disturbing when the other is moving inconsiderably vigorously.

Mm.billahStayed at St Christopher’s Hostel, Edinburgh for a night and it was a good budget choice. The location is excellent, right in the city centre and close to the Old Town and main attractions. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dorm was basic but comfortable enough for a short stay. It can get a bit noisy, so earplugs help. Bathrooms and common areas were generally clean considering how busy it is. Overall, it’s a social, well-located hostel—great for meeting people and exploring the city, but not ideal if you want total quiet. Perfect for a short stay in Edinburgh.

MMayur Priyanka Khera BathlaKick Ass Greyfriars is absolutely spotless one of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed in! I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The bathrooms were well-kept and fresh, and the reception desk staff were so nice and welcoming. Would definitely recommend! Solo or with friends & family book without doubt. .

LLinxianshengbeijingThis hotel is conveniently located near the city's train station. It has a front desk and luggage storage (for a fee of £3 per piece). Check-in time is 2 PM, and check-out time is 10 AM. The hotel is apartment-style, with spacious and clean rooms, each equipped with a kitchen, kettle, refrigerator, microwave, and tableware. However, there is no elevator, and the toilet and bathroom are located in the hallway. The front desk service is not very friendly to Chinese guests. If you don't mind the type of hotel when traveling to Edinburgh, this hotel is a good option.

RRocks tripsA last minute booking as my flight was delayed and couldn’t make connecting train, everything was fine, bottom bunk a little short on headroom but fine for sleeping, everything clean but energy saving toilets often didn’t flush but thats just down to water power, Perfect location could’ve better placed with its own bar and 5 mins walk to train station and city centre

RResipaWe booked a twin-private room. The room was small, so we had to put the luggage under the bed. If you want your room to be cleaned, then you have to book the room cleaning by scanning a QR code, 1 day before. We did it, but then no one cleaned our room. We told the reception, and they said they didn't receive our request. Hence, we had to re-book for the following day, and we told the reception as well. Only then, our room got cleaning. They cleaning was the basic one, emptied the trash bin, and refilled the toilet tissue. They wouldn't make up your bed. The hostel is strategically located, but to shorten the length, you have to take the stairs step (around 300m only). If you are with heavy luggage, then it will be around 700m from the train station (wheel-chair access street)

GGuest UserOverall, the hostel is good , the environment is good and the customer service is very friendly.  I love the lobby architectural design. Feelin the vibe.  The receptionist  are accommodating and friendly especially Hari  give star for the good service.  Aside from the shower  which is very hot  that you cant even take a shower. Other than that everything is  good with the affordable price.

AAnonymous UserThe staff were nice, the bed and the toilet was clean. However, the bathroom was dirty. The sleeping experience depends on the people in the room. Mine was bad because people in the room with me was loud even at 11PM. There was a bar on the ground floor. There was also a kitchen for people to use which was nice. Do I recommend this? If you're saving money, yes. But i recommend bringing slippers to be more comfortable and a lock for your bag for safety.
