This stay was very pleasant. The hotel has a convenient location, close to the train and bus stations, with excellent surrounding amenities. There's a large shopping mall nearby, right next to Carlton Hill. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, although the soundproofing was slightly lacking, but acceptable. All the staff were warm, friendly, and provided excellent service. The only downside is that the elevator doesn't go to the top floor.

We had a pleasant stay at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (Airport). The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you would expect from the Premier Inn standard. The location is very convenient, being right next to Edinburgh Park train and tram stations, making airport access and travel around Edinburgh easy. However, it is quite far from the city centre, so journeys into town take a bit longer. The facilities were adequate for our needs, and overall the hotel offered good value for money. One area for improvement would be the service, as the afternoon staff appeared somewhat unfriendly and not particularly welcoming. Aside from that, everything else was excellent, and we enjoyed our stay as a family. I would recommend this hotel for travellers looking for convenient transport links and a comfortable stay.

Here's a breakdown of my experience: 1. **Great Location!** It took me about 15 minutes to walk to the Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by The Unlimited Collection from the Edinburgh train station with my luggage. It would be even quicker without bags. 2. **Fantastic Views!** From the restaurant window, you can see a large monument, and in the distance, ancient castles and mountains. It was truly delightful. (Image) 3. **Convenient Transportation!** The Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by The Unlimited Collection is located on the famous Princes Street, and it's a short walk to Edinburgh Castle, less than a kilometer away. (Image of hotel exterior) 4. **Healthy and Abundant Breakfast.** (Image) 5. **Unique Restaurant Decor!** I loved the large plates in the restaurant with their decorative dots – a very distinctive touch! (Image) 6. **Spacious Room!** My room had one super-king bed and one single bed.

The place was exactly is it was shown in trip.com pictures. Room was large and toilet was enough large too for couple. And the city view! Wow an extra level of satisfaction.

This hotel is quite affordable among those in Edinburgh. Its location is a few kilometers from the city center, but it was fine for us since we had a private car. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of Western options.

I booked a room without window without realising! It was already over priced! I tried to change room but they didnt fulfil my request! So when I entered my room I realised is very small and it lacks basic amenities like fridge wardrobe enough space on both sides of the bed and plus I didnt have anything to put my things near my side of the bed as well... bathroom was also small no window i also had to buy my own conditioner cause hotel couldnt provide it for me... im really dissappinted... I already paid enough money and breakfast was not included in the price! Check in was also late i had to pay extra for early check in which is outrageous! And if I wanted late check out I also had to pay extra money for this... For the money I paid i could easily book a luxury air bnb and I could have my comfort as well! Plus at night there was too much noise outside our room which made us very uncomfortable! Sometimes we were thinking that someone entered our room due to the loud noises outside... I stayed one night and it was one of my worst hotel experiences... im really dissapointed... the only thing I liked was the cleanliness... we were told by one staff member that someone would call us to discuss our experience and offer us some money back if possible but no one called us! I wont book again any room in this hotel! Thats for sure! Very dissapointing experience...

The young staff at the front desk were all incredibly warm and friendly. The room's bedding was clean, and the street view from the window was lovely. The location is excellent, close to everything. There's a supermarket downstairs, the hotel has a restaurant, and there are many eateries nearby, which is super convenient. The only downside is that the windows don't open, which seems to be a common issue as other hotels with AC on the street also have sealed windows. A minor improvement could be to switch the plastic lining of the electric kettle to stainless steel. Overall, I'm very satisfied. While it was a bit pricey, considering it was during the Edinburgh August Festival, in the city center, and had an elevator, the value for money at this hotel was actually quite good.

The location is 100 points, and the facilities and cleanliness are also acceptable. The biggest problem is that it is very noisy after 11pm. Because there is a disco nearby, drunk people kept talking loudly on the street from 11pm to 3:00am. The room glass is not double-glazed, so it feels like being on the street. At 6am the garbage trucks were making a lot of noise when they were dumping garbage. Basically, if it wasn’t so noisy that I only slept for two hours on the first night, I would have definitely not been able to sleep at all the second night. The hotel provided ear plugs but they did not help at all. Hope they can switch the windows to soundproof glass. The location is excellent, and the facilities and cleanliness are acceptable. The biggest issue is the excessive noise after 11 PM. The nearby disco and nightclub open til 3:00am. from 11 PM to 3 AM, with drunk people talking loudly on the street. The room windows are not double-glazed, so it feels as if you are right on the street. At 6 AM, the garbage truck adds to the noise while collecting trash. Basically, if I hadn’t only slept for two hours due to the noise on the first night, there would have been no way to sleep at all on the second night. The hotel provides earplugs, but they are completely ineffective. I hope they can replace the windows with soundproof glass.

The Hotel has modern decor, a nice atmosphere, and is neat and clean. The room is a bit small, but it's comfortable and ok for a short stay. It's well decorated and tidy. It's a bit far from the center, about a 20-minute walk, but it's very convenient to travel by the tram, which stops in front of the hotel, only 5 mins reach the center. There's only 1 tram in the city. If you come by train, getting off at Waverley Station, you walk to the Waverley Market, the Princess Street exit, and you can get on the tram to the hotel, getting off at the Haymarket stop, very very convenient. As I'm Thai, I met a Thai staff member at the reception, and he's very nice, friendly, and helpful. I will certainly come back to stay here if I come to Edinburgh again. Edinburgh is so beautiful, like a fairy tale.

Excellent Location, but Serious Security Lapses I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. While there are some undeniable perks to the property, a few significant service and security issues made for a rather unsettling experience. The Highlights Prime Location: This is easily the hotel's strongest suit. It’s situated right next to Haymarket station, and there is a bus stop literally just outside the front door. Getting into the city centre takes no more than 10 minutes, making it a perfect base for exploring. Commendable Service: The reception team provided a decent welcome. I’d like to give a special mention to Shreyas, who was incredibly helpful and professional throughout our interactions. Quality Dining: We ate at the on-site restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was of a high standard, and the waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Room Maintenance & Tech Issues Unfortunately, the shine started to wear off once we settled into the room: Housekeeping Oversights: Despite this being a multi-day stay, the complimentary water bottles were never replaced after the first day. Faulty Tech: The in-room tablet was practically useless. It kept restarting due to a battery fault; ironically, it even cut out while I was trying to use it to contact reception. Privacy Concerns: When we requested extra toilet roll, the staff member who delivered it attempted to walk straight into the room using their key, rather than knocking and waiting for us to answer. It was a complete breach of basic hospitality etiquette. A Major Security Concern The most distressing part of the trip occurred on our second day. Upon returning to our room in the evening, we were shocked to find the main door open. It appears the cleaning staff had failed to secure the door after finishing their rounds. Finding your hotel room left open to the public is, quite frankly, scary. It’s a massive security fail that overshadowed the rest of the stay. While the location is brilliant, the hotel desperately needs to tighten up its staff training and safety protocols. Would I stay again? Only if I were certain that the security and maintenance issues had been addressed.
