The village was truly wonderful—peaceful, serene, and full of natural beauty. It provided the perfect setting for a relaxing escape. What made the stay even more special was the owner, who was incredibly kind-hearted. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, from helping us book transportation and activities to offering warm hospitality. It was clear she genuinely cared about her guests, which made our experience even more memorable. The combination of a charming village and such a thoughtful owner made this trip unforgettable.

The boss’s small house is very warm. The house is very warm. There are many small objects. When you come, the boss who contacted in advance wants to ask about the itinerary. This time I came to Xuegu and traveled through the snow village. I rode horse-drawn climbing and snowmobiles. I played snow drifting. I also played in the Bear Ridge. The boss and the boss lady were very nice. I stayed in this homestay for three consecutive nights. The last night was New Year's Eve. The boss lady arranged for the people staying here to make dumplings together and treated us to dumplings. The boss also bought fireworks for us to set off fireworks together. This year, I spent a different New Year with people from different places. The most important thing is that the boss lady's cooking is delicious. You can't go wrong if you come to Xuegu.

The stay was great, the owner was very welcoming, and the guesthouse was easy to find right on the main street of Xuegu, making it convenient to go anywhere. We arrived during the first heavy snowfall, so there weren't many tourists. The room was clean, quite spacious, and comfortable to sleep in. The toilet was also electric and had a heating function – a big plus!

He has multiple jobs including driver, tour guide, photographer, babysitter, help with booking a car, customizing an itinerary, etc. I knew there was no TV in the room before booking, but I was afraid I would be bored. As a result, the whole night's activities were arranged in a variety of ways, haha. You can have fun and fall asleep. The boss's family is warm and sincere. It really feels like home. The sliding ring in their own yard makes the children have a lot of fun. There are even more fun trips to Yangcao Mountain Crossing and Wusongling. The boss also took us to explore the snow in depth, and the experience was full 💯 There was also a small episode. On the way to the B&B, I left my ID card in the service area halfway. The boss helped to contact and find it. When we came back from the trip, he gave us a big surprise. I was touched❤️ The first sentence of the child after moving to Harbin was Let's go back to Xuegu to play 😂😂😂 Highly recommended for families with children, super cost-effective You can just go to the snow town to check in. If you have enough time, it is recommended to stay here for a few more days. This is the most satisfactory place for this trip to Harbin. I will come again next time! ! ! 🥰

First, the pros: The villa offers a great view, right above the snow tubing track, which made the kids very happy. Staying in a detached villa also meant it was quiet. The underfloor heating worked wonderfully, keeping it very warm. The restaurant's food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was especially good; other places either charged more or offered smaller, less tasty portions for the same price. On the second day, we went to Wusongling, and there was a guide who was great at getting everyone excited, taught us how to ski, and helped with photos and videos. The 400-yuan ticket was definitely worth it. The owner and their family were all very welcoming! Now for the cons: Upon entering the villa, there was an unpleasant smell, like fresh renovation, though the front desk said it was just the smell of wood. People sensitive to smells might want to be aware of this.

Recommending a Hotel in Snow valley for Your Consideration Rating: 10/10 Advantages: • Conveniently located near major attractions and a smoke-free environment. • Exceptionally clean rooms with large Highlights: • The reception staff cannot speak English, but they went out of their way to communicate via WeChat with automatic Thai translation. Lao Jiang was very conscientious and provided attentive service from going up the mountain to coming down the mountain. He took good care of us👍What I remember most is that I didn’t dare to ski down, so Lao Jiang helped me slide down and let me experience the fun of skiing. What is also commendable is that we need to walk a short distance when going down the mountain. Lao Jiang thoughtfully prepared crampons for us 👍 and the candied haws prepared by Lao Jiang are delicious! Puppies are cute too❤️ Next time I come to Snow Valley, I will choose Lao Jiang

Our stay at xiaoheimei inn was really wonderful! The inn is super cozy and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and it really felt like being at home! The place is decorated so beautifully and we built a cute snowman! I can also really recommend to climb over the yang cao shan mountain. It was a lot of fun! I think this is by far the best place to stay in all ”xuegu” :) Their cats are also very cute! Very sad to say goodbye , but If I visit again, I will 100% stay at xiaoheimei.

Authentic Experience: We enjoyed feeling immersed in the local neighborhood, with lots of small, inexpensive restaurants nearby. Points for Foreign Families to Note: Language Barrier: The staff were very kind and helpful, but did not speak English. They managed communication using translation apps, which was fine but required patience. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was entirely Chinese-style (congee, egg, steamed buns, pickles). Amenities: Don't expect extra facilities like a gym or pool. It's a place to sleep and clean up, not a resort. Local Focus: The inn is clearly geared toward domestic travelers, so room decor is simple and functional. Overall: This inn is an excellent, economical choice if you prioritize a clean room and good value. We were comfortable and would use it again for a budget trip
