"My stay at this hotel was excellent. The ambiance, cleanliness, and comfort were all top tier, and I would rate it 10 out of 10. The reception area is beautifully designed, and the view from the upper floors, especially the breakfast area, was a highlight.
The location is very convenient, with street food, small shops, and cafés within walking distance. There is even a Luckin Coffee right next to the hotel, plus a small shop attached, which made things very easy.
The staff were pleasant, professional, and helpful throughout my stay.
The food was good, but I would have appreciated a bit more Western variety to make the experience even better.
Overall, this is definitely a do-over for me. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return."

"The hotel environment is great! What impressed me most was the front desk staff, I think her name was Peng Beibei. Her service attitude was exceptionally good! She's a very enthusiastic young lady; when I forgot my room card, she even proactively went to the elevator to swipe it for me. It really shows the kind of service awareness and enthusiasm needed in the service industry today.

"This is a fantastic value-for-money hotel under the Holiday Inn brand. The service is excellent, and they're very quick to respond to requests. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, with freshly cooked wontons and noodles – you might not even need lunch! A tip for those driving: don't follow your GPS onto the side road. Stay on Changjiang Middle Road (the main road). When your GPS tells you to turn right, look carefully for a hotel sign; that's the entrance. When I called the front desk, they gave me very helpful and clear directions: look for the bookstore, then the KFC on the left, and the entrance is up a small slope."

The location is excellent, very close to the train station, with a subway station right next door. The environment is quite good, and the high-ceilinged lobby feels grand. The front desk service was decent; my room was upgraded before arrival.
The executive room wasn't particularly large, but the facilities were well-maintained. The elevator requires a key card to operate, which adds to the safety. Guests also receive complimentary fruit upon check-in, which is a nice touch.
The executive lounge's light meals offer a decent variety, though the only made-to-order items are noodles and wontons, which were just so-so.
Breakfast had a good selection, including special local dishes like Huainan beef soup and freshly stewed chicken soup with small wontons. There was also a cart service offering a unique 'sa tang' (thick soup) which tasted good. The made-to-order egg rolls were also delicious. The chef at the noodle station was particularly enthusiastic, explaining everything and even helping to prepare an Anqing-style wonton soup base. The service was exceptional.
Overall, a very good hotel. Highly recommended."

"I stayed at this hotel twice within ten days, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The breakfast had a great variety and was served for a long time. The location is superb, right in the middle of the pedestrian street, and all the nearby attractions are easily accessible. The room was clean, well-lit, and the linens were new and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The room was also very quiet, and drinking water was freely available. The hotel even offers afternoon tea and a late-night snack, which really shows their dedication. What particularly impressed me was this afternoon when I received a call from the hotel. They asked about a skincare sample I had left behind. It was something I didn't want and had forgotten to throw away. The hotel found it and immediately called me to inform me of the forgotten item. "The hotel has been newly renovated, and the facilities are quite complete. However, it's a hotel converted from an office building, so the soundproofing isn't great; I could clearly hear conversations from next door. The location is pretty good though – just 100 meters out, cross the sky bridge at night, and there's a street food night market.
The cleanliness was decent, but the bathroom had a slight odor when I first entered the room.
The environment was okay.
The service was enthusiastic. Even though I arrived early and my reserved room wasn't ready, they offered to upgrade my room if I waited half an hour. In the end, it was still the room I originally booked, which wasn't a big deal. However, the noise from conversations and laughter next door at noon made it impossible to rest. After only a few minutes in the room, I asked to switch, and they eventually moved me to a room with a mahjong machine."

"Finally, we were able to experience the Grand Hyatt Hefei during this spring break, and it was a wonderful 2-night staycation! The Regency Deluxe Twin room was perfect - very clean, spacious, well appointed and with great city views. We enjoyed the onsen style bath in the room; the pool, steam and sauna facilities were all good. Room service was great, satisfying the midnight cravings of my family. Breakfast had an awesome spread - a balanced variety of local and western dishes.
Dinner and drinks at the Club Lounge were pretty good, even for vegetarians. Drink selection was curated very well even if a bit limited. It was a great place to hang out after dinner and drinks, especially after we convinced our family friends to check in and join us the next nigh. Also, shoutout to the great service from the lovely club lounge staff!

Throughout my stay, she was incredibly attentive, constantly checking in on my experience, and always reliable. Any issues were promptly resolved, showing her meticulous and thoughtful service. I felt completely secure and well-cared for at the hotel. The environment is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and it's super convenient for getting around and finding food. The breakfast was excellent, delicious, and varied.
The staff were extremely helpful. It was a snowy day, and they offered me hot water upon arrival and turned on the heating before I entered the room. On the second day, they kindly helped me arrange a taxi. Small gestures, but very important.
By the way, I travel a lot and stay in a different hotel almost every day, but I truly felt the need to thank this wonderful staff.
Mercure Hotels will always be my first choice.

I arrived in Hefei at night, impressed by China’s almost legendary punctuality — something my own country once specialised in, long ago. The airport shuttle glided through wide, perfectly straight roads lined with glowing skyscrapers. A good start.
Then I reached Hefei South Station, opened Trip.com, and was told: “Your hotel is right here.”
Technically true — but only if you know it’s directly underneath your feet.
After wandering around the huge empty square, a very kind police officer rescued me, pointed to a lonely elevator in the middle of the plaza (it looked more like modern art than an entrance), and down I went into the hidden world below.
The hotel is built inside the station itself — small clusters of rooms tucked between luggage areas and service corridors. From reception to my room it was about 300 metres of underground sightseeing. My VIBRAM-soled hiking boots even stuck to the floor at first (someone must have spilled a bottle of very enthusiastic orange soda), but the cleaning staff fixed everything with great care and many smiles.
Breakfast was the most unforgettable part: served inside a convenience store full of police officers and station staff queueing for their morning noodles. No English menu, lots of friendly confusion, and eventually I received three cold eggs and a massive seaweed-wrapped rice block the size of two fists. I decided to spare myself — life is too short for certain experiments — and found a latte upstairs instead.

My husband and I work hard, so for our vacation, we just wanted a place with good air, excellent service, and convenient facilities where we could relax. We chose the Guanshanfang, which has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking green hills and a pond. When we opened the windows, the sounds of birds and insects, along with a gentle breeze, filled the room – it was incredibly soothing.
- Dining 🍽️
The hotel has an in-house restaurant that serves three meals a day. Breakfast is complimentary, while other meals are self-paid, costing around 100+ RMB per person. The menu offers a good variety, and considering we didn't have to leave the hotel, the food quality and price were acceptable.
- Service
The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Anything we needed could be delivered to our room, and they patiently answered our questions and offered guidance regarding travel advice and everyday queries. On busy weekends, things occasionally felt a bit rushed, likely because the hotel is relatively new and still finding its rhythm.
- Getting Around
For those who enjoy hiking and sightseeing, there's a mountain about 500m from the hotel suitable for trekking, with a temple at the summit. Additionally, about 10 kilometers away, you can access the Lunan Chuanzang Scenic Route for a scenic drive up to Zhaiji Mountain for some breathtaking views. My parents thoroughly enjoyed it. If you plan on exploring, driving is recommended.
- Other Amenities
The hotel features a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room. They also offer sound healing and handmade sachet workshops. Even if you don't venture out, there's enough to keep you occupied and entertained for at least a day within the hotel. I hope they'll add sports facilities like a badminton court in the future, which would surely attract even more guests.
Overall, we were very happy we chose Daiaoshanju for this trip; it's definitely worth a visit.

The renovation is probably quite old, and some of the design is not very reasonable. There is no full-length mirror, and the sink does not have a trash can. Also, people will slip small cards into the room at night. The room itself is quite large.
