Granada Hotels with Wi-Fi

As other have said around 10 minutes walk from City Centre but close to all attractions. Rooms are excellent, spacious and have a nice bathroom. Tea and cofee provided and rooms kept spotless by cleaners. Did not use amenities on offer or eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on quality. Only one minor negative was around wifi - brilliant in reception but 'patchy” in room and would often lose connectivity. Overall first rate hotel and would return.

We had a wonderful experience at the Gran Via. The rooms were impeccable; over a couple of different stays in December & January, we tried a regular room as well as the suites, all were lovely. I particularly recommend the junior suite with the mural on the ceiling (room #6), it was a really special room. The spa & hammam were small but really nice, a perfect way to decompress after work, skiing in the Sierra, etc. The location of the hotel is very central to the Granada cathedral area, as well as the Albaicin. Walkable to many restaurants, bars, & tourist sites. And the rooftop has beautiful views of the cathedral and the Alhambra. What really stood out is the service. The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome & comfortable. Would definitely stay at the Gran Via again next time I'm in Granada.

Barceló Carmen Granada boasts stunning views of the Alhambra and a prime location that allows for easy exploration of Granada's historic sites. The hotel's rooftop pool and terrace are perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. While most guests appreciate the modern amenities and courteous service, limited parking can be a slight inconvenience. Overall, it earns a well-deserved 4.5 out of 5 stars.

My family stayed two nights in this hotel on a tour of Alhambra Palace. The outside common area of the hotel, including the dining room, was very well maintained and could deserve a 5-star rating. The rooms inside were a different story. We occupied two rooms. One was a “superior deluxe room,” and the other was a “classic city-view double room.” Both had the same price tag. The deluxe room was spacious and well-lit but had an odd arrangement with a useless bathtub in the center. Moreover, the room smelled of sewage when we entered the room—which I notified the management. They disagreed and claimed there was no sewage smell. I did not appreciate the response, as all four of our family members smelled of sewage. Nor did I escalate the issue, as our stay was short. The city-view room had a small window overlooking the city without much viewing space. The room was tiny, with two twin beds packed in the room, and was poorly lit. It felt like being in a prison cell. The shower doors in both rooms did not close fully, so the water splashed out. In short, both rooms were substandard and did not deserve the price tag at all. My recommendation to travelers is to stay elsewhere, and if you need to stay there, avoid the small “city-view” rooms and Deluxe Room #331 that smells of sewage. I got to love Spain and its people who are very friendly and helpful, but not this hotel.

The room is in a great location, just across the street from the cathedral. The facilities are good and the room is relatively large. There are also bathroom facilities that cater to the elderly and those with difficulty walking. The staff are very enthusiastic and can help book a taxi.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel and if our room. Also, the room had plenty of space for both of us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We could easily navigate the city and the Alhambra from our base, and public transport was close by and easy to use.

It takes 15 minutes to get to the hotel from Granada Train Station by taxi, and it costs about 13 Euros. The hotel is named after the writer Washington Irving. On one side of the room, across the green path, facing the outer wall of the Alhambra Palace, turn left out of the hotel door and walk downhill. It will take about 20 minutes to reach the bustling commercial street in the city. Turn right out of the hotel door and walk for three minutes to the tourist information center and ticket office. The hotel has a great location! The room facilities are convenient, the washbasin is separated from the bathroom, and the European-style breakfast includes salmon, salami, fried dough sticks, ham, pickles, etc. Everything is delicious😋

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, the hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. The hotel has a pay parking but the nearby streets are already finished the paying area and if you are lucky like us you can leave the car as long as you need without worrying about putting a ticket. The hotel is very well communicated with bus stops and metro, although we didn't need any of them.

The hotel has 2 strong sides: the location, and the staff. I must mention the Front Desk staff, very friendly and accommodating, with quick check in, and check out process. Whoever owns the place, has to bear in mind that even the most amazing staff will, sooner or later, stop covering up any other failures. Good staff members will start leaving the place for a better one as they will be ashamed to work at such a crappy place. I come from the hospitality industry, and I can clearly identify problems in the hotel, which is a low budget given by the owner/owners, or poor management. CLEANLINESS: In my opinion housekeeping staff is not given enough time to clean the rooms properly. When we checked in, the bed tables, including the phone, were literally covered with dust. Therefore there were ants in the room, and the bathroom ceiling and walls were full of mould. I don't understand, nowadays you can easily get environmentally friendly detergents for the mould, and for ants. BREAKFAST BUFFET QUALITY: Even though the variety of products was very wide, the quality was incredibly poor. The cheapest stuff that would be normal to get in the hostel or student sort of accommodation, but not in the 4 star hotel. Very bitter, and burned coffee from the self service coffee machine (1 out of 2 was out of order by the way), green clumps in scrambled eggs, and totally green, not ready to eat bananas.... All these should not be served in the 4* hotel. AMENITIES: We were quite surprised there was no ironing board in the room, normally there are 4* hotels. We asked Reception around 11pm about the possibility of getting it to the room, but the Night Receptionist was clueless where he could find it, and asked to come back in the morning. This situation should not happen as the night shift members should be most experienced, and most aware of all the hotel aspects. We could not wait to do ironing until the morning so I had to do it on the bed. Thank God we had an iron in the car so I was able to prepare our outfits for the wedding the following day.

It's a clean hotel with friendly staff. Price is reasonable for all the amenities it has. Very ideally located with easy access to attractions and restaurants. Because it's centrally located, very easy to get taxis too without any hassle. Will recommend this highly!
