"Staff lovely, room very clean and great choice for breakfast. Only criticism was unable to switch heating on. Wasn't on entire time there.and as a storm overnight would have been nice to have on at night and in morning. Didn't mention so they may have been able to provide small heater. Wasn't particularly cold but husband feels it ."

Some are spread over two storys with beds on the mezzanine level, making them an attractive option for families and business travelers. Were one of the few hotels in the city center to have a swimming pool and gym, so theres even more reason to stay with us if youre into keeping fit. With so much to see and do in this buzzing city, youll want to keeping coming back time and time again.

"The hotel was lovely, I was a bit put off by the reception staff who spoke to me via computer screens. They never looked at me when asking questions I personally feel this is rude. However they were able to store bags for us until we could check in. The pool is lovely not overly big and there was lessons going on but for a quick dip it’s fine. The hot tub is tiny even with 3 adults in it we were touching knees so that felt a-bit awkward sharing with strangers. Gym was fantastic. Was very impressed Room was lovely very spacious we had a twin room first time I slept in a single bed since a child so not overly comfortable. Bathroom clean and massive bath which was great, our room did not have a window that could be opened but a fan was placed in our room, it didn’t work but after notifying cleaning staff they quickly replaced it. Breakfast was good just what you would expect. From a buffet breakfast and we were seated very quickly both mornings. There was water machines on our floor and reception which we used regularly and we appreciated that touch. Over all it was a good and I would stay again. The red and yellow hop on hope off bus stop is just around the corner also so handy if wanting to sightsee."

"I am rarely 'blown away' by hotels but Citizen M truly blew me away and exceeded all my expectations. First of all, the staff member who greeted me was super friendly, asked me about my trip and the check in process was probably the easiest, fastest and most modern process I have ever experienced anywhere. When I walked into the room, I almost thought I walked into the wrong room because the size of the bed was HUGE (much bigger and better in real life than displayed in the pictures). The room itself was also much bigger than I expected, and so very modern and 'cool' like a spaceship. It had a homely feel and had some truly unique features like an ipad to control the TV, the lights (brightness and colour - very cool again!!), blinds (and more) and you could even play games with the lights. There was a moment where I truly felt I could spend an entire day just in the hotel room because it was so fun being in there and I looked forward to coming home to my hotel every night."

"Parking out the back with a tunnel to walk through to reception. Pay for parking when checking out. Our twin room was comfortable, and perfectly adequate for one night. The location is actually great, right next to the sec , and plenty of options for getting into town. It's a big hotel, so lobby and bar were buzzing at all times."

"A comfortable hotel and good value for money. However finding it was an unexpected challenge. Walking from Hyndland station what appeared to be the hotel appeared as I passed the hospital on the left. But where was the entrance? No signs along the footpath, so turned left onto Great Western Road to arrive at a petrol station. I could see the Leonardo , but again no entrance and no obvious way to find one. So, off I set back to the road where the hospital was located. I could see the hotel but no sign of any reception. Eventually I walked round the back and found my way in. Only the following morning did I discover that there was a pedestrian cut through to the petrol station I've been to many hotels in my 73 years, but this one went out of it's way to play hard to find. Maybe the owners assume everyone will arrive car and their satnav will guide them . My advice to the owners. Put some signs up"

"The hotel was perfect from the friendly reception staff on arrival to the breakfast the following morning. The room was immaculate, not new and sparkly, but tastefully decorated with quality well maintained equipment, fittings and furnishings. All the basics, bed, shower, toilet and basin worked and performed superbly. Bedding, covers, sheets and pillows were pristine, crisp, and the mattress was exceedingly comfortable. Plenty of hanging space, iron and board, hairdryer and fridge. Spotlessly clean. Service for breakfast was unusually efficient for a large hotel. They knew exactly how to cope with a busy breakfast service. Buffet for drinks and cold items, service for Cooked. The full scottish breakfast kept me going all day. Will definitely return to this hotel."

"Excellent experience overall. Hotel centrally located and well maintained but above all quiet. After a good nights sleep, the day starts with a very good all you can eat breakfast. Staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend this establishment."

"The location is perfect for families traveling with a lot of luggage since it’s literally right next to the central station — super convenient! But just a little heads-up: the hotel is also quite close to some bars, so at night there can be a lot of drunk people around. It was generally safe, but there was one night when me and my fams went out to buy water and as we were heading back into the hotel, some drunk people started shouting at us and asking for a lighter. 😅 In summary the hotel itself was really good overall! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"This hotel has a great location and the staff are very patient, especially Denis at the front desk. The rooms have heating, which helps to keep you warm in winter. AAnonymous UserFriendly receptionists, booked the room pretty last minute and got a free room upgrade. The room had the bare minimum of what you would expect to have, location wise, it is right above the Charing Cross station, but it’s a pretty far walk from the main area
