"We only stayed briefly, but YOTEL Glasgow left a great impression. The location is unbeatable—right next to Central Station, perfect for travellers. We were lucky to receive an upgraded room, which was nice and spacious. It was also remarkably quiet for such a central spot. While the room showed a few signs of wear in places, the overall comfort and convenience more than made up for it. Recommended for a short stopover."

"The room was a bit small, and the cleanliness was okay, but there were some marks on the sheets. They might have been clean marks, but it still bothered me a bit. I requested a room near the elevator, and it was literally right next to it, haha! The hotel is actually quite small, so everything is close by anyway. The service was excellent. My English isn't great, but the front desk lady and guy were both incredibly patient. The lady even used a translation app to tell me what she wanted to say. In the afternoon, I wanted to visit the museum, but my room wasn't ready yet. The lady proactively offered to store my luggage so I could go to the museum first and check in later. When I did check in, she also helped me with my luggage. Their attitude was very friendly throughout. The guy at the restaurant was also super friendly; he recommended the hot chocolate, which was indeed delicious and one of the few things I can praise about an English breakfast. He also noticed I was Chinese and proactively said ”Nihao” and ”Xie Xie,” which was very kind."

"Great hotel. Had an executive room and was pleased to find water, toothbrush and various things I'd forgotten to bring. Room was large and the beds were very comfortable. I'd asked for early check in as I was in Glasgow for my son's graduation and was able to get into the room early to get ready. I would highly recommend and definitely stay there again"

"My stay started very well but ended up being quite disappointing. On the first day, we were assigned an excellent room. The layout was well designed, with the kitchen located near the entrance, while the bedroom and bathroom were separated further inside. The room also featured a large floor-to-ceiling window facing outside, providing plenty of natural light. At first glance, everything seemed perfect. Unfortunately, when we tried to take a shower, we discovered that the water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low. It was so poor that even the toilet could not flush properly. We waited for maintenance staff for more than 30 minutes, but the issue was not resolved. A room change was only arranged after we repeatedly requested it. The replacement room was a major downgrade. Unlike the original room, it had no outward-facing window and instead overlooked an internal courtyard. For privacy reasons, we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time. Even on sunny days, very little natural light entered the room, making the space feel dark and depressing. The apartment is located close to the railway line, and being on a lower floor made the situation worse. Train vibrations and noise were clearly noticeable, while constant water-flow noise from upper floors could be heard throughout the day and night. The overall experience became quite uncomfortable. The location itself is convenient, with easy access to the city centre and shopping streets. However, there were frequently groups of unemployed or suspicious-looking individuals around the building entrance. On several occasions, we also noticed people wearing face coverings and individuals who appeared to be targeting passers-by, which raised concerns about personal safety. Overall, the first room showed that the property has the potential to provide an excellent stay. However, the severe plumbing issue, the poor replacement room, the noise problems, and the surrounding security concerns significantly affected our experience."

"Amazing location, very clean and great service. Super close to walk from main station. We stayed in the premium en-suite room and it was very clean and spacious. Lots of great reccomendations from the staff! I would say that unless you are up late the stay might not be the best for people who want to sleep early during weekends due to it being above a club, but they make this very clear on bookings and provide ear plugs. We will be back! :D"

"The room's overall amenities were good, and the mattress was comfortable, helping me sleep well. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, they did have traditional Scottish Potato Scones. The view from the window was decent, and the double-glazed windows effectively blocked out the noise from passing trains. However, there were two main things I was unhappy about: First, upon entering the room, I immediately noticed the tissue box (as shown in image 3) hadn't been tidied. There were only three tissues left, clearly from the previous guest. It made me wonder what the previous guest had done with the tissues to leave them in such a messy state. Second, I had specifically requested *not* to have a corner room before checking in, but for some reason, I was still assigned room 1004, which was a U-shaped room. I hope to see improvements in these areas next time I visit."

"Was at the Hilton for the first time. It is just a basic hotel. Nothing great or opulent about the experience. We had morning breakfast buffet, it had some great spread and value for money."

"Good location and value, relatively big room and large shower. Easy access to George sqaure and Buchanan street. It's a combination of hotel and student accommodation so modern interior design and convenient check-in / check out process."

"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and booked a taxi for us early in the morning to the airport and checked to see if recent roadworks were finished. The room was great and restaurant had lovely meals. This is a great place to stay in Glasgow."
