"You need to ask for a hair dryer at the front desk. Toothbrushes are not provided in Canada. There is only one at the front desk. The service staff over 50 years old has a bad attitude. It is also far from the city. I will not stay here next time."

"The room is OK, but the service is basically equal to no. The opening time of the front desk check-in was originally 4-7 in the afternoon. When we asked in advance, we said that it would be about six o'clock. As a result, when the door was closed at six o'clock, the front desk was already missing. I found that I sent us an email for self-check-in after five o'clock, and the sense of relaxation at work was shocking. The keys were thrown in the mailbox at the door, and I left a phone call but said that there was no emergency. The parking lot was difficult to find because the instructions were unknown. "My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms. We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow. For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests. Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name. Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings. I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on."

"The two bed rooms are relatively thin, the hotel only has shampoo, and there is no shower liquid to provide . Reasonable price! The location is very close to the subway station, within 2 minutes walk. "

"Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown was one of the best stays I had this year. The hotel was extremely clean, there were so many services available and the fitness centre was excellent. The location was incredible, just a few steps away from the best stores and restaurants. The valet parking system was also well organized and the employees provided superior customer service. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I need to stay in Downtown Montreal."

"Talk to the front desk brother, said that it was a house in 1867, very typical European style. When we went, Montreal was snowing, and the scenery on the street could be seen in the room and restaurant. Because there is no elevator in the old house, it is not convenient to get up and down the luggage, but the hotel staff will take it, and we moved it ourselves if we didn't weigh anything. You can stop for 15 minutes at the door to check in. There is an underground parking lot nearby where you can park. You can ask the front desk brother for the specific address. I will come again next time I have a chance."

"This hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well. This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate. I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal."
